the price per night is for Las Vegas a miracle. the rooms are a touch outdated. we didn't take breakfast or similar there, we went to the city center for that. all in all if only for sleeping it is ok. the swimming pool is decent, thats a nice feature.

Mardi Gras hotel is a fine place to stay. It is not a five star hotel so don't expect 5 star rooms. The rooms are good enough, big and clean. The bed is fine. The breakfast has enough options but is not luxurious. Most important for me: the people behind the counter are nice and helpfull. 15 minutes walk to Sphere. 25 minutes walk to the Strip. Bus 108 is nearby for trips downtown (buy a ticket in the bus for 5 dollars for full day travel on all lines). If you don't want to spend too much money on a hotel in Vegas, I recommend this place!!

Een netjes hotel en vriendelijk personeel. Alles wat je nodig hebt is er. Een echte supermarkt is wel even lopen, maar prima te doen. Ook de strip is makkelijk lopend te bereiken of met de Monorail.

Verblijf oke maar pas op
Gunstige prijs voor de ligging, ruime kamer en fijn zwembad. Begin mei bezocht, met inchecken is was creditcard benodigd vanwege 50 dollar borg (kamer was vooraf betaald). Creditcard kaart kon in eerste instantie niet gelezen worden wat heel vreemd was, na veel vijven en zessen lukte het wel. Twee maanden later is mijn creditcard geblokkeerd vanwege misbruik in Florida, nu wordt ik gespamd met berichten namens postnl (heeft bevestigd dat het fishing is) dat een pakketje niet geleverd kan worden, afzender is het adres van het hotel. Al met al eens maar NOOIT meer

The receptionist served me was rude and I felt discriminated. She told me that check in starts at 3:00pm. However, white family came after me, she assisted them immediately and gave the key for them even before check in time starts. The check out time was 11am. However the cleaner shouted in unknown language and knocked my door at 10am. Also, the breakfast does not included, and I had to pay it! Overall, 👎👎👎👎👎

We chose this hotel due to the closeness to the event center and the price was good for the surrounding area. However there was a couple things that could use some improving. The room was unimpressive and could definitely use better cleaning. We found a beer bottle and condom wrapper under the beds, as well as mystery stains on the carpets and walls. The "all you can eat breakfast buffet" was really just an average hotel breakfast display for 12.99 and in my opinion not worth it. Not to mention the lady running it was rude and very unwelcoming to us and other guests simply because we came within a 20 minute window of the breakfast closing. She even barked at 3 other guests after we had sat down. The front desk people were very pleasent. So for that I would give this hotel a 3 out of 5. Just beware of what you may find under the beds and if you're planning on eating the breakfast, I would recommend going at least an hour early so you can actually enjoy the breakfast you paid for without getting yelled at.

There was a dead dried up moth on the sheets the side of the bed and the wall behind the bed. Bed was caved in,in the middle side and mattress was stiff. Place is a bit outdated,bathrooms are small and stained. It was a non smoking room but it wreaks of cigarette smell. There was group of crackheads/homeless smoking crack on side stairs of the building. Wasn't really expecting much, so for the two nights we spent there it was so so. Obviously not perfect. My daughter who was with me didn't feel it was clean enough though.

We enjoyed our stay and the food was great also and the pool area was nice and quiet and clean and also the room was clean as well always a good time. Hubby recommends wood flooring instead of carpet and also doggybags for service animals. .We will be back. Good job everyone.

So there were lots of interesting reviews for this property and all I have to say is I'm happy I didn't trust them all because this place is a diamond in the rough. We stayed here for Phish at the sphere for 5 nights and while the place is a little dated we were very happy with our stay. Ricky who checked us in was awesome! The bed was super comfortable and the sheets were clean. The room size we had for the price was great and it was a super quick walk to the sphere. While walking around just like in any city just be aware of your surroundings. We walked around all day and night to get to sphere and strip and had a great time. I really don't understand all the bad reviews on this place. If you're on a budget, going to sphere, or just want somewhere convient to stay this is your place.

Located a couple of blocks off the strip, and close to a monorail stop, it’s a nice place to stay away from all the noise and activity, but still close enough to get to all the action. Staff were very friendly and helpful, room clean and beds comfortable.

The Mardi Gras is a get what you pay for kind of spot off the strip. It was really servicable, but there’s solidly no glitz and glam to it. Pool was good, rooms were big, but space.

The Mardi Gras Hotel has a convenient location near the Las Vegas Convention Center and monorail station. Affordable prices. The room feels tired. Bathroom looked faded and the overall cleanliness was quite questionable.

Generally the Mardi Gras was a surprise as it appeared at first like it was old and a bit run down. While the lobby is small and connected to their small casino, the staff was friendly and professional at check in. We were too early but after an hour wait they checked us in before 3pm for a 2 nite stay. The room was on the top/3rd floor at our request but there were elevators available. The room was spacious and clean even though a bit dated. There was a mini kitchen area with only a frig, no micro or coffee maker (that was a disappointment). It was quiet all night as we faced an apartment building, other rooms face the nice pool area (which was being power washed the day we checked in, including walkways!), or a street on the other side. A bar off the lobby also served food but it was very smoky so we took snack food to go and ate in our room. Rm had a couch and coffee table. Hubby bought coffee from the bar/restaurant the next morning and we were happy campers after a decent night's sleep for the reasonable price. Many shopping centers in the area, and hotel was located behind the Winn golf course and casino. We did not try walking to the strip but I believe it was close enough to do so if you are younger and more spry than us. You could watch 'The Sphere' from the hotel entrance, a beautiful building size globe of changing colors and graphics. Only in Las Vegas! All staff encountered were great!

Good hotel. Good service. Good cheap bar food. If you drive into Vegas and want a less expensive option to just chill and lay your head down at night this place this is it. 5- 10 minute drive to the strip. I wouldn’t walk. Not for safety but for distance. People seem to be over dramatic, don’t do anything dumb and you’ll be safe. This area seems chill enough, and comparable to being in any other city. Take normal precautions and you’ll be fine.

when we arrived at the property, we checked into our room and the room was filthy. the plastic covering on the wires to the lights and alarm clock were broken leaving live wire exposed. my friend checked her bed sheets and there was stained blood over the fitted sheet and also on the shower curtain. there were lots of stains on the carpets. they changed rooms for us and this room was slightly more modern and clean but my friend checked her bedding again and there were more bloody stains on one side of the bed. at this point it was late and we had just done a 14hr flight so we left it but it was just an absolutely filthy hotel. suppose you get what you pay for but not really the point when the room is a biohazard. Staff were friendly and the area is pretty quiet, felt safe enough.
