'The Dan River house was very roomy. The kitchen had basic supplies for all our cooking needs. Lots of pillows and blankets. Estella was a very gracious host and answered all our questions.We enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to the river. The grandchildren played in the river, even though it was October. We will be back in the summer to try tubing on the Dan River. '

Sitting out on the deck was amazing.....surrounded by nature....family of swans, blue heron, and even some deer across the stream.The inside couch is a worn and covered in blankets to hide the wear and tear.....other than that the place was clean.If you plan on using the hot tub, i would recommend bringing extra towels. 'We loved the river behind the home, its one of the prettiest rivers and so much fun to play in and climb on the big rocks.
