Great location
Location is great and love the horse and donkeys on the property. Price is perfect and the owner was kind enough to switch weekends when i booked the wrong one, at no additional cost. Simple and fun....

So much fun!

Nothing fancy
We really enjoyed our stay. The donkeys and horse were so much fun to feed and of course pet and brush and no ranch is complete without friendly cats. This is not fancy comfortable bed and shower. There is a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. The owner does provide a few snacks, bottled water, coffee, sugar and powdered creamer. There is also a tv with apps the Wi-Fi is very spotty so it's hard to watch anything. The owner was very responsive. We would recommend it and will stay again in the future.

No check-in instructions or contact info ever sent. Derelict cars and shed are your scenery. Trampoline is a deathtrap. Lawn furniture and bbq grill are junk. Do not rent this place.

Cabin was clean, cabin next to cabin was a broken door ran down. Charcoal grill not clean, trash on site.not mowed worried about maybe snakes.pictures of property not quite what things really looked like.

Donkey cabin
4 donkeys and a horse. Between them they managed to down 15 pounds of carrots 😀 they did wake us up in the morning with braying and clomping across the porch 😀 . The cabin, while small is very nicely equipped and in the middle of nowhere. Very quiet and easy to find.

Fabulous place!
The cabin was perfect & the horse & donkeys were absolutely wonderful! I was suspicious about them actually coming up to the door, but boy was I wrong. They came up to the porch & hung out with us wanting scratches & carrots…..oh so many carrots lol. They came to the porch stomping around 7:30 in the morning wanting more carrots. We will be back again!

Peaceful retreat
Found myself a perfect lil space an hour from home for an overnight getaway. Sitting under the stars hearing no barking dogs or car horns! Awesome. Loved the horse & donkey visits! Food & entertainment close by. Cabin neat & clean. Sheets smelled wonderful & slept well. Already booked for summer, but sure I will return before then. Dont expect no fancy digs, but everything you need, & I felt at home. And its pet friendly!

Exactly as promised
We booked the cabin for a short Elk hunting trip. We love nature. And this place has plenty. Its a small place but beats any Hotel room. It was quiet and peaceful. The Donkeys and Horse greeted us when we arrived. They love the carrots the host leaves for you in the fridge. We dont have any complaints. Would stay again if we need a place near Lawton.

Accident that occured
The property was quiet, we did enjoy the donkeys and horse however the porch on this cabin needs to be deemed unsafe, I fell through when a board broke as we were standing outside feeding the donkeys and horse and when telling the manager he only told me that the donkeys own the property, and never even had the decentcy to ask if I was hurt or ok. I did bruise and scrape my leg pretty bad. Thankful this didn't happen to a small child or an elderly person, because it could have been worse. The property also has alot of junk around the premises, maybe just a little clean up would help. We stayed at a close by cabin a month ago and the property was much cleaner, and management was available for our needs.

His name is Roger ..He Never said anything like that There's a Motel 6 in the town away...What kinda gal rents a cabin in the middle of 20 acres that is called the Donkey Ranch and complains??? That ain't junk...it's a distraction for your bad choices of not understanding that Me and Mom will clean up after you!!! Thanks for not letting the Donkeys out!!

This is an isolated property which was a great thing for me but should be considered if you are more dependent upon immediate attention or services. This is for travelers more than tourists. I loved it.

Nice spacious cabin
A very nice place to stay for a couple of days! We enjoyed interacting with the donkeys and horse. Our dogs loved it too! The cabin is closed to Medicine Park and a local kitchenette with friendly folks! We had a blast spending our 3 days vacation in Oklahoma! Thank you Roger!

Very basic cabin with great donkey and horses
It is a basic cabin with the luxury of having donkeys and a horse visit you several times daily. Bring plenty of carrots or stop by local Walmart and buy several 5 lb bags. You will need them. It is conveniently located to the wildlife refuge and close for going to get dinner in Lawton or medicine park. If you want 5 star look elsewhere but if want fun stay here. And don't forget to eat at Ann's!

We enjoyed our stay. Very quiet and peaceful. We loved feeding carrots to the donkeys and horse but I wish that we brought more carrots. They were so friendly and would come right up to the porch.

I had a couple of days here with my daughter who loves animals more than people. She was able to feed and pet a few mules and a horse. This is a very simple and enjoyable place to take a few days I hope to go again sometime.

This property is cute and quaint. It’s located on an actual donkey farm. Which is adorable. It was so nice sitting on the porch interacting with the donkeys and horse. The owner even supplied carrots in the fridge for us to feed the donkeys. Inside definitely is bigger then it looks outside. I’ll definitely be back.

The place was clean, quiet and private. We hiked around Mt Scott and visited Ft Sill, both were within 25 minutes of the location. The view was beautiful both day and night. The donkeys were a nice touch to the rustic vibe to the place. All typical hotel appliances, toiletries and snacks were stocked.

We were looking for a place near Medicine Park where we could stay overnight and not worry about our kayaks getting stolen. The cabin sets in the middle of a pasture with donkeys and horses. I brought apples and carrots to feed them but only a couple would hang around for petting hahaha. cabin interior was very clean and had snacks along with ither amenities you'd expect from any hotel. The t was tricky. The remote was old and worn out and we had to reky on a streaming service. The bed was way too soft for me but my husband liked it. Bonusbtherebis a small restaurant only 5 minutes away!

Girls trip
Everything was as advertised. The donkeys and one of the horses come right up to the door for treats and you may have some fireflies stay the night in the cabin with you. The property owners were very quick to respond to messages and just good, friendly, down home people. The cabin is small and rustic, not a lot of bells and whistles, but plenty adequate and very reasonably priced. If you are looking for fancy, this isn’t it. But, if you are looking for quiet and solitude, with donkeys, horses, and fireflies to keep you company, this is your huckleberry.
