Prachtige historische Black Hills Home

Geweldige plek voor al uw Black Hills-activiteiten. Gemakkelijke toegang tot Sturgis, Kool Deadwood Nights, Spearfish Canyon, Terry Peak Ski Resort, Mount Rushmore, Historic Deadwood en Crazy Horse Monument om er maar een paar te noemen. Ruimte voor grotere groepen. Parkeergarage, twee opritten en parkeren op straat. Ruimte voor RV of trailer op bovenste oprit. Geweldig uitzicht op Lead en de open snede. Moderne updates in dit stukje geschiedenis uit 1884. Dicht bij honderden mijlen van ATV en wandel / fietspaden.

De ruimte
Prachtig gerestaureerd huis uit 1884 dat werd gebouwd door de eerste dokter van de Homestake Gold Mine. 2400 vierkante voet naar huis met off street parking voor 6 voertuigen (2 opritten en garage). Hiermee is er voldoende parkeergelegenheid op straat voor aanhangwagens - garage voor 2 wagens voor het speelgoed. 3 verdiepingen plus een kelder met een volledig dek bovenop de garage met uitzicht op de opengesneden en vuurwerk. Minuten naar de wonderen van Deadwood, Homestake Mine en het skigebied Terry Peak. De eerste verdieping bestaat uit een foyer, grote woonkamer met een 55 "TV, grote eetkamer met tafel uitgerust voor 6 plus, volledige keuken, evenals een vernieuwde complete badkamer. Vanuit de keuken heeft u toegang tot de garage of het bovendek. De tweede verdieping heeft drie slaapkamers met elk queensize bedden en een flatscreen-tv, evenals een grote complete badkamer met een verwarmd bubbelbad. Oplopend naar de 3e verdieping onthult een grote bonuskamer uitgerust met twee aparte bedden en ruimte om het 24 "queen luchtbed op te zetten. De woning heeft originele hardhouten vloeren en 8 'pocket deuren op het hoogste niveau. De woning heeft een volledige keuken, plafondventilatoren in elke kamer en nieuwe supercapaciteit wasmachine en droger. Alle bedden zijn nieuw in 2020.

Really wonderful property. We’ve stayed at a lot of properties, and this house was at the top in terms of cleanliness, well appointed (nice towels, comfy sheets, kitchen equipment, lots of smaller details, etc) and the host was hands down the most responsive host I’ve ever had. Great property, we had a family of 6 and we underutilized its occupancy, which comfortably accommodates 11 depending on the group/family makeup. and the kids thought it was the coolest ever - especially the rooftop deck. Recommend strongly!

Amazing for family vacation in the Black Hills

This house exceeded our expectations. Our family vacations often include 7 people, some with medical needs, and it’s rare to find a home that fits us so well. This one did. The place is huge—photos don’t do it justice. It’s well-stocked with more than enough towels, blankets, pillows, and silverware. Two sets of washers and dryers made washing our stuff before departure easy. The AC and central heat handled both hot and chilly days perfectly.The beds are memory foam, furniture is comfy, internet is reliable, and TVs are in every room. It’s just 10 minutes from Deadwood and about an hour from Mt. Rushmore, Rapid City, and other attractions. (Watch for road construction—can add some time when driving so if you have scheduled excursions, plan accordingly.)Edward, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful, even checking in before a cold snap to make sure we knew how to use the heat.A few notes: the staircases are steep with low ceilings—tough for those with mobility issues or over 6’ foot tall. The patio stairs are narrow and turn a corner. The patio is also very hot and sunny in the afternoon but cools off when the sun starts to set. The house is older so expect a few charming quirks, and there’s no yard—just a small grassy patch out front.But overall, this place is fantastic. The jetted tub was a hit, and the location, amenities, and owner support make it a standout stay. Highly recommend—just be prepared for stairs! 10 out of 10, would stay again for sure.

Beautiful home.

This home is a great stay. The owner has left nothing undone; the kitchen is stocked with appliances and amenities. Its location is walking distance from downtown in a quiet neighborhood. There are two washing machines and two dryers , I’ve never seen that in a rental before ; it was handy! We used the grill on the top floor patio; it’s a great view of the mines! If you are a tv viewer there is one in every room. Our grandgirls loved all the indoor and outdoor space as did we! We would without a doubt rent again. Ed, is very attentive to every message I texted. We enjoyed our stay, a home away from home!

Seeing Deadwood and Devil's Tower

We had a great stay. We were a party of 9 from 9 to 70 years old. The house was located perfect to take in everything. Our youngest party member ran around the house yelling " we are rich" when we first arrived, the kids were really taken with the place. We had a hard time getting any of the kids to help unload anything until they explored the whole house. It perfectly accommodated us all. We even asked for an extra day, but another group was already set to come in after us. Thank you again for letting us stay!

The property is as advertised. There are no bedrooms on the main floor, just a bathroom with shower. All bedrooms are on the second or third floor. Air conditioning is through wall or floor units, so there is some noise at night from that. Overall, the house was great for our large party. Beds are comfortable and kitchen is stocked with dishes. The TV is run through a Roku system and is pretty good, there were times when some app wouldn't load and we had to reset the router. We had a good time and would recommend this place to anyone visiting the Deadwood area.
