Perfectly situated between Leavenworth and Stevens Pass, just 10 minutes from Lake Wenatchee and Plain, it's the perfect home base for skiing, hiking, lake days and holiday traditions. After exploring, soak in the hot tub, gather around the wood-burning fireplace, and unplug with foosball, board games, puzzles, movies and corn hole. Thoughtfully designed for families with toys and everything little ones need.

The space
Cabin 1989 was created for families who want more than just a place to stay. It's for parents who want mornings that start slowly over coffee, afternoons spent exploring together, and evenings filled with board games, campfires, and stories instead of endless screens.

Located in a quiet cabin community between Stevens Pass and downtown Leavenworth, just 10 minutes from Lake Wenatchee and Plain, Cabin 1989 is the ideal home base for skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, river days, fishing, and every adventure in between.

Then come home.

Slip into the hot tub beneath the pines. Listen to the Chiwawa River from the covered front porch. Fire up the BBQ while the kids play corn hole, build LEGOs, or gather around the pretend campfire. End the evening around the wood-burning fireplace with a movie, puzzle, or one more round of Connect 4 before bed.

Cabin 1989 was designed differently. We didn't simply furnish a vacation rental. We thoughtfully created the kind of place we always searched for when traveling with our own family - a cabin where everything has already been thought of, so you can spend less time packing and more time making memories.

The kitchen is truly stocked for real family meals, complete with a double oven, induction cooktop, crockpot, blender, waffle maker, rice cooker, toaster, baking supplies, spices, oils, kid-friendly dishes, outdoor dinnerware, BBQ tools, foil, plastic wrap, Ziplocks, dishwasher pods, and even bear and tree-shaped pancake molds.

The coffee bar is ready every morning with a 12-cup coffee maker, Keurig, electric kettle, and complimentary K-Cups, teas, flavored syrups, and creamer.

For families with young children, we've included the things that make traveling easier: a Pack 'n Play, high chair, kid dishes and utensils, toys, books, nightlights, sound machines, step stool, potty seat, and plenty of little touches that help everyone feel at home.

Sleeping Arrangements
• Primary bedroom with king bed, 55" Roku TV, bedside charging stations, blackout curtains, white noise machine, luggage rack, full-length mirror, closet with hangers, and private access to the hot tub
• Guest bedroom with queen bed, 55" Roku TV, white noise machine, dresser, luggage rack, and full-length mirror
• Spacious open loft with two full beds, its own private bathroom, foosball table, books, and toys - a favorite hangout for kids after a day outside

Guest access
Enjoy convenient self check-in with a secure electronic keypad. Prior to your arrival, you'll receive a unique access code created exclusively for your stay.

Guests have exclusive access to the entire half-acre property, including the cabin, covered porch, hot tub, fire pit, and yard. The only exceptions are one locked supply closet and cabinet inside the cabin.

Per Chelan County regulations, the detached bunkhouse and garage are not available for guest use.

Other things to note
We love animals, but Cabin 1989 is a pet-free home. We appreciate your understanding and ask that no pets be brought onto the property so our cabin remains comfortable for guests with allergies.
