Het afgelegen landgoed nodigt u uit om te ontspannen en te ontspannen in de schoonheid. Super Awesome!

This place is perfect for a small group to explore Leavenworth and the surrounding area. Close to town (15 minute walk), close to Safeway, there’s a boutique winery right next door, and it’s tucked into the woods. Pretty all around perfect. The owners are thoughtful in the way they communicate and the things they provide. Like, there’s an espresso machine and a book with helpful tips. It’s a great spot, too. Quiet, in the woods, relaxing, and big enough for the four of us to hang out or find our own space. I highly recommend this place!

This was the first time I’ve done a home rental and it was an amazing experience. The communication was amazing. It personal, friendly and not overbearing. The work they have done in this place to ensure customer satisfaction is first class. Their book is detailed and everything is labeled. For families I can’t think of a better set up. They have a wonderful games room with wonderful activities to potentially keep kids away from electronic devices. The have a custom deck of cards that you are welcome to take but don’t take the book with the vast selection of card games. We split the rental with a couple and the idea was eat, drink, sit in the hot tub and experience this unique little town. It was an adventure that will be remembered for some time. Our final morning hot tub and coffee was shared with 5 deer lounging nearby. This rental caters to a couple looking for a romantic get away, a group of friends looking to hang out, a family of kids and if I was an author or an artist, a nice place to be by yourself to create without interruption. Loved this place and the Winnie the Pooh quotes in the cupboard was a nice touch to add to the magic. You will not be disappointed with this rental and the experience the town has to offer. Thank you for the amazing experience!!

This was my second stay here. I just love the property, the neighborhood is so quiet and the deer come in the morning. It's just magical when it snows and it's a very short drive to downtown Leavenworth where all the action is,

Winter Wonderland

This rental was amazing, impeccably clean and cozy. I came 2 weeks before Christmas to celebrate my birthday. I couldn't have chosen a better spot. There was a Christmas tree up and lights. This place was close to town, we did end up driving because of the snow, but I would probably take a stroll into town in the spring/summer. It was perfect for 4 adults, ample space. I highly recommend.

Fun Family Getaway

My daughter and I visited Tamarack Haus for a quick getaway into the natural beauty surrounding Leavenworth, and were delighted by all the thoughtful touches prepared by our host. The house had everything we needed with helpful guidance, instructions, and special touches throughout to make our stay fun and memorable. The family game room was great fun, and the location is minutes from downtown and some of the world’s best hiking. We will absolutely be back again! Thanks for the memories!!

Perfect weekend

Our stay was a delight. The house is whimsical, clean, and lovely. The views are beautiful. We were able to walk into Leavenworth. The grocery store was also walkable. The hot tub was clean and worked well. Our 9-year-old didn't want to leave and the whole family is looking for any excuse to come back and stay here again. This house is clearly loved by the hosts and we would recommend this house to anyone.

Great house! It’s very cute and fits into the holiday theme. Was decorated with t he full holiday spirit! Super close and definitely walking distance to downtown. The lights were beautiful! And the host of this site is extremely responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

Unique Touches, but Short of Luxury

Between the listing photos and the price, I expected a more well-kept, luxurious space. The location was great and the house had tons of character. It also had tons of scuff marks, dingy carpet, and stains on the upholstery. The photos made it appear MUCH larger than reality. I guess that's the goal of good listing photos. The owners of the home obviously put a lot of work into making it unique. Some of the finishing touches could use a more experienced hand but the first impression is definitely fun. On the positive side, the downstairs game room was very cool. It was nice to have so many choices of unique entertainment. The kitchen was quite pretty and well appointed. We visited while snow was on the ground so the heated walkway to the front door was much appreciated. The hot tub was nice as well, but seems kind of dropped on the side of the hill. A few ambient touches would go a long way toward making that a more relaxing space. While we enjoyed our stay, we would not return to this home, choosing instead to spend those vacation dollars on a home which more closely meets the expectation of luxury that the price implies.

A Real Charmer

There are so many superlatives about the Tamarack House and its owners! The art work, drawings and colors throughout the house just made you smile. Impeccably clean. Well equipped and organized kitchen which we put to good use. The downstairs game room was unlike anything we have seen and kept all ages entertained. Talk about location! Downtown Leavenworth is an easy 15 minute walk. Hiking trails are also close by. I can't say enough about the owners Kristin and Mark. They kept in touch before the visit and once we were there, went out of their way to accommodate us. The whole experience was just perfect for our 3 generation group!

Amazing house in a great location!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tamarack House! The spacious layout, comfortable beds, beautiful view of the mountains, hot tub, and overall aesthetic of the house made for a wonderful time. It’s just a short 10-15 walk from downtown Leavenworth as well. Definitely recommend!

Amazing Family Get Away

The house is simply wonderful. The downstairs game room got plenty of use with our energetic 4 year old, we all enjoyed soaking in the hot tub, and we parents loved having a night cap on the deck looking out at the snowy mountain range. This has become a "must stay again" on our holiday list.

First Leavenworth Experience! Incredible!

Staying at Kristin and Mark's Tamarack Haus was exactly what my family was hoping for while visiting Leavenworth for the first time. We spent a lot of time playing games in the game room, in the hot tub, cooking, and watched a couple of your movies ("Harry and the Hendersons" was our fav). Our kids (9, 6, 3, and 2) really enjoyed the house and going sledding at the nearby hills. We will definitely come back to this house when we stay in Leavenworth. Appreciate the responsive communication from Kristin before and during our stay. We forgot to sign our guest book to share our memories with future guests so hopefully they will read this!

Christmas 2020 The Shea Family

First let me say, we did have a lovely Christmas but I feel i do have to voice my honesty on certain matters. The entrance to the property is only safe on one side and not the side they want you to park! It was dangerous and nearly all my party fell at some point. So dangerous with so much ice. Do not attempt to book this cabin unless you have an SUV! I have stayed at many other VRBOs and properties and would say this had the least clean of all kitchens. The stove hadn’t been touched inside and was very dirty, the fridge hadn’t been cleaned and was dirty inside and under the sink was filthy. The cupboard doors were all sticky as though they had not been wiped in a long time. The TV was terrible also. We could only watch a movie for 20 mins before the service stopped. Everybodys devices worked so it wasn’t service. Old tv being made to be a smart tv. It was frustrating g especially having teens and it being Christmas. As I said we had a great Christmas but I wouldn’t recommend the property to friends and I wouldn’t stay again.

Perfect place for a weekend getaway!

This property was exactly as described—and then some. The check-in process was a breeze and the homeowner was super easy to communicate with. The home was adorable and perfectly outfitted for a weekend girls trip. Great sleeping arrangements and a gorgeous kitchen. And the views from the deck were incredible! We had an amazing time and felt right at home. The walk into town wasn’t bad (even in 100 degree weather) and took only about 15 minutes. I would definitely stay here again!

Plenty of indoor & outdoor activities on site. Beautiful, artsy cabin nicely appointed. Be sure to bring your own plastic wrap or containers to take home leftovers when you leave. My family had a wonderful two-night stay.

Picturesque and Cozy!!

The home is beautiful and exactly as shown in their listing, right down to the deer that stroll past the property each day. We had a wonderful trip. The location is great - just a quick 15-20 min walk to downtown Leavenworth. The game room provided hours of fun and all the thoughtful extras made for a fabulous experience. Highly recommend and will definitely return.
