Big House met enorme tuin. Voel je alsof je in het land bent maar dicht bij alles bent. Hideaway is een stenenworp. Jigger Shop een comfortabele wandeling. Honden toegestaan. Outside Dog Run. WI-FI, kabel, Smart TV's, sauna, bubbelbad in hoofdbad, in bad lopen op lager niveau. Lager niveau handicapvriendelijk. Kitchenette op de benedenverdieping. Kreek, Gazebo, dekken, overdekte veranda, veel parkeergelegenheid !!! In de buurt van Hershey, Lancaster, Lebanon, Harrisburg. 30 minuten naar de luchthaven van Harrisburg.

This was a great VRBO! It was spacious and clean and worked perfectly for our group of 8.It is close to the PA Renaissance Faire (which was our reason for our trip) and easy to get to restaurants and grocery shopping. There was a lot of space for us all to spend time together and also spacious bedrooms for everyone.

Lots of room

Photos don’t do justice to actual property. Multiple conversational areas in the home plus the huge, covered porch created a homey, comfortable and inviting atmosphere. We incurred a couple problems that were immediately addressed by the owner. We all loved the Mt. Gretna area. Had a great time exploring the surrounding areas over the five days. Loved being able to walk to The Hideaway for meals, drinks, and live music.

Working Vacation

The house was clean and beautiful. However, it was not exactly handicap friendly. There was wheelchair accessibility on the first floor, which I was informed of. The bathroom on the first floor was not very accessible to the shower. The opening to the handicap shower was right by the sink making it hard to assist my autistic, wheelchair bound individual in and out of the shower.

Great place to stay!

You can walk to the Hideaway which is a friendly tavern with great food and entertainment. The fire whistle is loud but it only rang twice in 4 days. None of the tubs work and showering in them is not fun! They are too short! You cannot use the sauna or the fireplaces either.

came in for a wedding with family. did not explain how to use the remote for tv was the most frustrating part so cant really complain. Gave enough towels and blankets. Did not mention the fire station but we were lucky did not go off in middle of nite. Overall was very nice

Peaceful Relaxing Getaway

The house was nice and spacious. It had a very homey feel. I loved the historical pictures of how the house progressed over the years. The porch was so nice and loved drinking my morning coffee and listening to the birds. It was secluded yet close to restaurants and activities. A very nice stay!

Family Visit to Hershey Park

We had a great time during our stay in Mount Gretna. Besides the Hershey Park fun we also enjoyed a self guided Covered Bridge tour, the Yuengling Factory tour and Ice Cream at the Ice Cream place in town....and the decks on the house were great...

Mt. Gretna

We stayed at the Happy Landing Bungalow while we were in town for our son's baseball tournament. There was plenty of house, and the yard was great. You can tell this home has been loved by the same family for years. We had a little problem the first day, but the owner took care it immediately. Would stay here again if we come back to the area.

Perfect for our needs

We needed a place that would sleep a lot of people as we were traveling to a big lacrosse tournament with three locations with another family. This place was perfectly situated between the three fields we needed to be at and gave both families the space we needed to be comfortable. This is an annual tournament and we will definitely be looking to book again next year!

Hershey Park Cousin’s Trip

Loved reading the history of the home and the families that have grown up in it. We felt very cozy and LOVED the outdoor yard. My son and I played football and my wife and I loved the swing seat to just watch nature. All the kids loved the bunk beds and my wife really enjoyed the sauna. The proximity of the restaurant was incredible. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your lovely home.
