Mooi, romantisch en centraal

Op 100 meter van Piazza Sant'Oronzo, van het kasteel van Carlo V en van alle kamers, een mooi, ruim en licht appartement op de eerste verdieping van een historisch gebouw bestaande uit een uitgeruste keuken, een eetkamer, een woonkamer, twee slaapkamers, een badkamer en twee mooie kleine balkons. Sterren gewelven in Lecce-steen. Houten balken. Fijn ingericht, geschikt voor een stel, mogelijk met een kind tot 1 jaar, die graag in het historische centrum verblijven en alles op loopafstand hebben, zonder hun privacy op te geven. Niet geschikt voor kinderen.
Het appartement ligt op een kleine binnenplaats en is onlangs gerenoveerd. We verhuren het tegen een absoluut promotionele dagelijkse prijs die aanzienlijk lager is dan het categoriegemiddelde (het is een huis en geen kamer!) omdat aan het begin van de activiteit. We zijn er heel jaloers op! Binnenin vind je alles waarvan we dachten dat je het nodig zou kunnen hebben. Ontbijtset, melk, koffie, thee en koekjes inbegrepen. Ook inbegrepen is een exclusief welkomstpakket voor de badkamer en een uitstekende fles lokale Salento-wijn.
Het is mogelijk om op de toegestane tijden met de auto naar het veld te gaan om bagage te lossen, maar stop niet. De parkeerplaatsen liggen tegen betaling op 50 meter afstand. Gratis parkeerplaatsen zijn te vinden binnen 500 meter.
Zeer handig voor gasten die met de trein in Lecce aankomen.
Een echt koopje alleen voor 2019, voor attente en respectvolle mensen, bereid om onze hoffelijkheid te beantwoorden.

Privacy in City Center

Fantastic property and location. Loved the rooftop terrace and 2 balconies—one facing each side of the cortile. About 3 minute walk to the heart of Centro Storico. I only want to warn that there are lots of stairs, so this would not work for those with mobility challenges. Also a but challenging—but do-able and worth it—if you have large luggage. Try to take a 22” bag or smaller if you stay here. It is very spacious and well equipped. An absolute gem and great value.

Fantastic Experience

Everything about our time in this home in Lecce was wonderful. The house really feels like home, all of the furnishings are very comfortable, especially the beds. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our occasional dinners, when we weren’t eating at one of the many great restaurants within walking distance. We were welcomed with a nice bottle of local wine and everything we needed for our first breakfast. As our visit was during colder weather we only had a couple of chances to enjoy an evening aperitif on the rooftop patio, it is very pleasant and I’m sure it would be great when warmer. I cannot say enough positive things about Luigi, our host. Aside from being just an incredibly nice person he’s very responsive and made sure that every aspect of our stay was outstanding.If we are in Lecce again we would absolutely stay in this home again, it was an outstanding experience.

Terrific stay

We spent 4 nights at this property in the Centro Storica of Lecce to begin a month long visit to Italy. We can highly recommend it to anyone who wants a comfortable and convenient apartment and enjoys an authentic Italian experience. The apartment was clean, spacious and had everything we needed to do our own cooking. Luigi, the property manager could not have been more helpful in providing information on what to see and where to eat (which we did twice just 20 steps from the apartment at Mama Elvira’s). The rooftop terrace was also very nice for al fresco dining when we cooked ourselves. This deserves 5 stars across the board.

Über den Dächern von Lecce

Luigi ist ein sehr liebenswürdiger und zuverlässiger Vermieter, der alles dafür tut, dass es einen Gästen gut geht. Wir hatten fast täglich Kontakt und konnten uns mit allen Fragen an Luigi wenden. Zu unserer Überraschung war der Kühlschrank gefüllt. Es gab einen leckeren Begrüssungswein, Wasser, Milch, Espresso und jede Menge Dinge, mit denen man ein gutes italienisches Frühstuck machen konnte. Die Wohnung ist grosszügig und wunderschön eingerichtet. Es gibt auch eine riesige Dachterrasse. Bitte beachten Sie, dass es viele Stufen gibt, die den Charm des Hauses ausmachen.

Beautiful, Spacious and Comfortable Apartment

This is a superb apartment with a private entry in the baroque city center of Lecce but away from the tourist traffic. It is near groceries, restaurants and shopping. There is a municipal parking lot very close by. The apartment is in a historic stone building; the thick walls and lofty ceiling (as well as air conditioning and a fan) keep it cool but there are plenty of wndows. The apartment has a rooftop terrace that is lovely in the evenings. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to use. The property manager was very attentive and welcoming.

Incredible location, home, and host

The photos accurately show how beautiful this home is, reflecting the architectural style in Lecce. The location was perfect, just a block or so from the Piazza Sant'Oronzo with its great bakery, gelateria, restaurants, and people, at the beginning of the main walking street in the centro storico. Kitchen is small but had all we needed for our 4-day stay. Rooftop terrace was lovely for an afternoon glass of wine. Everything in this large home was clean. We used both bedrooms - note that the upstairs bedroom has an open loft and the downstairs bedroom has a curtain for a door so for us, snoring echoed from one floor to the other. Host Luigi responded quickly to all my emails and WhatApp texts before and during the stay. He is over-the-top kind, thorough, and welcoming. We had the lucky opportunity to cross paths with him at the Rome train station and met briefly for coffee - he is warm and gracious. If I were to return to Lecce, I would stay here for certain. Highly recommended.

Séjour au centre de Lecce

Luigi est un hôte sans pareil: attentif et convivial et généreux. Nous avons eu des problèmes de wifi, pendant plus d’une journée, dont il n’était pas responsable, il a communiqué à de nombreuses occasions avec le fournisseur et nous a amplement dédommagés. Une bouteille de vin de la région nous attendait à notre arrivée ainsi que plusieurs items de base: bouteille d’eau, lait, café, sucre et dépannage pour le petit déjeuner. L’appartement est grand, l’éclairage impeccable, le lit confortable, le tout à 2 minutes du centre. Étant un couple sénior avec certains problèmes de genoux l’accès a été difficile: c’est une maison d’époque parfaitement entretenue mais avec 20 marches pour accéder à l’étage et encore deux étages pour accéder à la terrasse. Nous n’avons donc pas profité de cet espace. L’eau chaude nous a aussi causé quelques soucis. Mais considérant la qualité de l’hébergement, la gentillesse du proprio et la proximité au centre, à conseiller. Nous étions en transports public, à 15 minutes de la station. C’était parfait, apt climatisé et bien insonorisé.

Belle maison typique de Lecce.

Maison spacieuse et agréable située dans le centre historique dans une impasse calme, une belle lumière et une terrasse sur le toit permet de se reposer. Logement très propre et décor épuré. Luigi et son père sont très gentils, ils sont venus à notre rencontre au moment de la fête du Saint Patron.car le centre ville était fermé. Je recommande la maison de Luigi.

Great stay in the heart of historic Lecce

My husband and I stayed in Luigi’s place for 5 nights in April. It is large and comfortable, perfect for the two of us but would be great for 4 as well given the 2nd bedroom in the beautiful loft. Luigi was very responsive, and provided us with some welcome goodies and recommendations which were much appreciated. The location is superb, close to all the restaurants and sights, but nice and quiet at night. Grazie mille Luigi.
