Hi Gail, I am happy you at least enjoyed the lake and the view of the lake. Much of what you mentioned is accurate, and we are and have and will continue to make important improvements to the property. As a major stroke survivor I absolutely rely on input from renters as well as reviews for making improvements. I just can't get up there often enough. We have replaced all the sliding glass doors, we built a new front entrance so it would be easier for people of age or disability to access the property. We built a privacy curtain off the deck. We got a new dock for the lake. We have repaired all windows. We redid the master bedroom upstairs so it is comfortable. We have made simple improvements as well, like a new knive set since it was pointed out that the set we had was dull. That has been done. I do pay attention to detail and these things are important to me. We have added extra fans against the summer heat, and a couple portable ac units so folk can stay comfortable. Thank you for pointing out other things that have not yet been addressed. I absolutely will make sure we have a new Keurig for example, and replace the life vests. And make sure all boats we provide are caliber. And a new toaster oven. These things matter to me very much. I have never increased my prices from when I first started offering my place for rent, and don't intend to now. I put rental income back into improvements and we are making progress there. We will get new grills. I like to have guests have the option of propane or charcoal and we will get both updated as soon as possible. The bathroom is on the agenda for a make over, i was already in process of getting estimates on this as it does need improvement yet it's not as bad as your review suggests. Yet it is on the agenda and is the next major improvement we will be doing. I am i guess a little bit disappointed that you mentioned you never heard from me, the owner, because that is the only thing I disagree with. I absolutely responded, even offered a early check in as soon as the day before. We had been in contact. I don't always respond quickly enough I understand, yet in this case that is just not accurate. Again thank you for pointing out things that need to be addressed, and we are going to get that done!
