Family Friendly Home
This was our second stay at Linda and Doug’s home. We were delighted to find it decorated for the holidays when we arrived. The kitchen is fully provisioned, and (bonus!) there are toys, games, and a sandbox to keep youngsters entertained. They are gracious and responsive hosts, ensuring we had everything we needed for our stay.

Well appointed but disappointingly not very clean
The property was exactly what we needed. Close to family, the right size, pet friendly, and well appointed. Unfortunately the master bath required a deep clean upon arrival as the toilet was filthy and there was hairy soap int he shower. While the kitchen had every tool and gadget needed for a wonderful Thanksgiving, the dishes and pots were all greasy or dirty and required washing before use.

Spacious house with excellent location
We had a wonderful time! The house easily accommodated our family and friends., It is located just a couple of blocks from downtown Lee and is centrally located with short drives to Lenox, Great Barrington and Pittsfield.

Easy check in. Lynda is great. I’ve never seen a quick kitchen so well stocked. It had every appliance and inconvenience you could possibly need. Very comfortable for all 4 of us. It felt very private in spite of being so close to town.

Cozy Christmas getaway
We really loved our stay. This was only our second time away from home for Christmas and Linda and Doug made the house so welcoming for us, with a Christmas tree and lights throughout. The house was cozy and comfortable and we felt right at home. We had everything we needed and the location was perfect.

Cozy Berkshire home
Linda was a gracious hostess, our home away from home was everything that it was advertised to be and everything we needed while visiting the Berkshire area. Linda had fresh coffee beans for us, beautiful fresh flowers and fresh fruit plus everything else we might have needed over our stay! Beautiful home and lovely owners
We rented this home for 2 months and loved every minute. The unit was the owners and they moved into anothe apartment on site. So it was very high quality appliances and set up. They were both lovely and helpful. The large space was great for our family and we used it to ski and work remote during the week. Extremely comfortable and relaxing. Property looks beautiful we hope to see it in spring and summer with Linda's beautiful gardens in bloom. Would stay again in a heartbeat! Gayle and Ernie

Exploring the Berkshires
We loved our stay at 477 Greylock! The rental is clean and beautiful, and very well equipped with the necessities, but also with fun, creative, and intriguing art on the walls, and small sculptures throughout the apartment. Nature seems to be one of the owners' interests. The very well equipped kitchen is open to a spacious dining and living room that also opens to a deck/porch where you can spend your breakfasts. The living room opens to another comfy hang out space, with 2 couches and a large Smart TV on the wall. The bedrooms are also very comfy. If I had to choose one word to express this rental, I would say HAPPY (For all ages!). Its location is a perfect place to be if you are exploring the Berkshire towns. So much to see and do. A really fun outing is to take a chair lift ride at Jiminy Peak ski area in Hancock. Great views! Linda is a wonderful host. She is very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and enjoyable to talk with. We are so glad to have connected with her. We would rent that property again. Betsy

Great place in the center of the Berkshires!
We loved our stay at Linda's place! We were there in the beginning of the fall, there were 4 of us (all adults) and a dog. The location is central to everything. The place itself was great- full of charm, spacious, comfortable. It's one of those rare finds where the place is actually better in person compared to the pictures. The kitchen is lovely and very well stocked- better than most VRBO's in our experience. While we were there, we were already talking about returning in the future!

Quiet and private family home close to many local attractions
This is a comfortable family home in a quiet residential neighborhood. We loved the many common spaces to be enjoyed. The gardens around the property are well-tended. A great setting for young children. Most impressively, the host was very thoughtful about a young visitor who came for two nights - she put some toys and books in the room where he and his mother stayed which were right on with his age. We were impressed with changes on Lee Main Street and had several meals in town. Most places we wanted to visit were within a 15 minute drive. The host has a wonderful notebook with hiking and activity suggestions for all ages. As with most houses in the Berkshires, there is not central A/C and we had a few very hot days but the window units seemed to do the job just fine. Even nicer were the milder days when the windows could be open. We had a very nice stay at this home in Lee!

Fantastic Property
We loved staying here! The host met us when we arrived and oriented us to the home. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. We loved cooking meals in the gourmet kitchen and eating in the screen porch. We appreciated having access to laundry and beach equipment, and our hosts were easily reachable if we had any questions. The location is in a peaceful, garden-like setting near downtown Lee, and is a short drive to Stockbridge and Lenox. We would gladly stay here again!

Very Nice Stay in Lee - Great Host
We stayed at this home for 2 weeks and had a really nice time. More specifically; PROS It was very spacious and comfortable with a lot of different rooms and porches to hang out. Linda was very responsive and wanting to be attentive to our needs. While we were there she got a new grill for the deck and a countertop convection oven because the regular oven was not working properly. Good location - 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk to "downtown" Lee and centrally located in the Berkshires so an easy drive to the myriad of cultural and outdoor activities available as well as a large market. Were provided access to the nearby lake which was great, clean and a wonderful place to hang out. LESS PRO The house is dated. For example the pots/pans old/could use a refresh, some of the porch screens need repairing and like we mentioned the oven seemed to be an ongoing issue. Whereas the house is clean "enough" it could use a deep clean including the spice rack and the left behind pantry items, couch pillows and the kitchen draws/additional cups, plates etc that haven't been used in a while. For example we had to spend some of our initial arrival time on deep cleaning the coffee grinder and coffee maker. Big picture there were a lot of positives to this house especially for summer when we are trying to be out and about as much as possible. Linda is very accommodating and wants to do what she is able to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Great for Berkshire getaway
Property is clean, and well stocked with lots of kitchen and condiment items, linens, toiletries etc. Nice location, convenient to everything. We had to use the house more for working full time rather than for vacation. Although the internet was mostly strong in many rooms, cell service was not good(not good in many Berkshire locations) and this made some of our work conference calls impossible. The house is very nice and easy for sleeping cooking and relaxing. Hiking, shopping, outdoor activities are in abundance and easy to reach. Beautiful views of mountains and lakes all around. Great Grocer very close by with nice local and organic produce sections. Owner lives downstairs and is readily available .

Lovely, spacious and comfortable home!
This is a really beautiful home. It's all on one level (upstairs) which was nice and had beautiful outdoor space (which we'll have to return in warmer weather to take advantage of). Everything was meticulously maintained and we felt at home the minute we arrived. The hosts made sure we had every thing we needed. We will definitely return as this area has so much to do and the house is very well situated to enjoy all that Lee and environs have to offer.

Fall in the Berkshires
We had a family gathering at this beautiful home in Lee. The location was easy to find and convenient to the nearby grocery store and downtown restaurants. It is also close to the Appalachian Trail! Linda was a friendly, gracious host and the house is peaceful/clean with whimsical touches and many books/games. The sunroom and backyard were really nice and the neighborhood and surrounding hills were filled with fall colors.

Cozy home with great kitchen - perfect for families looking for a home base in the berkshires!
Spent Memorial Day weekend with my wife, 2 kids and another family with 2 kids. Although a bit tight for 8 (3br - King, Queen and 2 Twins), we are all close friends and all worked out well. The kids loved playing in the backyard with sandpit and playhouse and the sunroom was the kid’s playroom. Convenient to Lee and local restaurants and groceries and a short drive to all the Berkshires has to offer including beautiful hiking and outdoors activities. Linda was super nice and was available if we needed anything.

Nice family get away
The owner was very friendly & helpful. The home was wonderful-spacious, clean, kid friendly with many convenient & thoughtful amenities. Fresh flowers & a basket of fresh fruit welcomed us in the kitchen. Our granddaughters absolutely loved the playhouse in the backyard (they preferred that to any of the sightseeing we did.) A fantastic house for a weekend away
My girlfriends and I just spent the weekend in this house. It was such a wonderfully, comfortable house to stay in. There was so much space- plenty of space to sleep, hang out and cook. It has beautiful decks, places for kids to play in the yard and walking paths! The owners could not be nicer or more helpful. I can't wait for another opportunity to visit this spot. It is convenient to great Massachusetts towns, outlets, and a range or activities and restaurants for all seasons!

Home Away From Home Winter Weekend
Thank you Linda for absolutely fabulous accommodations! Your attention to decor and comfort of your guests can make them feel like they are in their own home. Nothing is missed! Extra special was the warmth that we walked into arriving late Friday night - rooms lit with a holiday touch and our table set for the chili dinner that we packed to have when we arrived. We made full use of your Berkshire information binder to explore all the area towns while our kids skied Butternut (thanks for that suggestion - they loved it so much they were up there again the following weekend!). Nearby hiking is great.Everything about your VRBO is warm, comfortable and great for a family to stay. We hope to be back in the late Spring or Fall to explore some more

Nice home, location is slightly misleading
I wasn't going to leave a review because overall it was a nice little getaway, but I keep getting reminders to leave one so I will. Let me first start off by saying the home itself is nice, clean, and spacious. I only met the wife/owner, but she was extremely welcoming and made sure we knew the "home was ours" for the weekend. As for the location, the description does say it's private, however, I do feel that is a bit misleading because it is really on a main road with a driveway that's maybe 100-200 feet off the road. Sitting in the TV area you could see cars driving down the road. We could easily just have different ideas of private, but by the pictures it did look to be situated a bit further in the woods and no neighbors, or at least no neighbors nearby. I would also suggest reading the entire description of the property because at the very end it does indicate that the owners live right downstairs. It is my own fault for somehow missing that part because I was a bit surprised when we arrived and she mentioned that. Now again, she was very clear that we were to make ourselves comfortable so nothing SHE said or did made us feel uncomfortable at all, and they did end up going away for the weekend, but until then it was difficult to get comfortable knowing we were right above them with dogs. My friendly suggestion to the owners would be to just make sure people are aware of this when booking, just as a second reminder even though it's in the description. I really don't want this review to sound negative because the owners, home interior and location to other areas of the Berkshires were great. We were just looking for a little more privacy in both location of the property and having the house completely to ourselves.

I stayed here as part of 3 couples and we had a great time! Room enough for everyone to spread out, yet several great rooms for us to congregate in to cook, eat, play a rousing game of Pictionary and also read. Even better than the pictures and write up suggest! Loved every minute of our stay.
We were two families with two teenagers for whom the layout worked like a charm. The house is open and airy. One screen porch was more inviting than the other. The house was very well stocked. Linda was the perfect hostess— open, warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, and funny. She gave us great advice about things to do. Do yourself a favor and eat at her daughter’s Starving Artist Cafe. You will be glad you did. We would definitely stay here again!!

Better Than We Could Have Imagined!
This lovely spot so surpassed our expectations that we kept pinching ourselves! First of all, the house is immaculate, spacious, and warm. The two screened-in areas (porch and sun room) give you so much space to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We visited with our son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren, and it was as if the place had been designed with them in mind--basketball net, large yard for imaginary baseball games, toys, games, and books. There are thoughtful touches everywhere, and we felt completely cared for and welcomed. I almost hate to post such a glowing review for fear that it will get so popular that we won't be able to snag the place for a return visit, but I feel that everyone should have a chance to enjoy this relaxing retreat. Beautiful home, well maintained, and perfect for our family
Our family spent Christmas here as it was perfectly located between multiple family members. The house was very well maintained, a great size and space for multiple family members with kids, and had an amazing kitchen. Linda was incredibly accommodating and available for questions. Fabulous House with so many extra touches
I rented this house this past weekend with four other women friends. We are all seasoned travelers and renting on VRBO is not new to us.....................this house is a gem. It is beautifully decorated in a peaceful setting, there were great gathering spaces throughout the house and it's nestled in a lovely wooded area. This is a fabulous location. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to use and we cooked dinner and breakfast. I would not hesitate to come back or rent this home for a week. It's a fabulous, fabulous house.

Great weekend get away in the Berkshires!!
Linda was a great host & tour guide! We loved our stay in her house. Perfect for our group (2 families with little kids).
