'The property is beautifully appointed and in an ideal location for a sea view and a short walk to some great restaurants. 'An excellent choice for a stay in the Lymington/New Forest area. Easy access to shops, restaurants and local sites. Our hosts were very accommodating - breakfasts were excellent, help with logistics and recommendations were spot on! Everything was great!'

'Excellent stay at the Chequers Inn again for a week for the New Year. Beautiful room, good food, clean, lovely staff - shout out to Angela who went above & beyond for us!
Lovely compassionate email sent to us following the very sad death of my Dad whilst we were away.
Only downside - the bar closed at 10:30pm on New Years Eve!
We will definitely return.'

'A lovely place to stay. Beautiful room , very smart and clean, lovely river views, comfy bed and spotless linen.Only downside to room 19 is the noise during the day and early eve from people eating below on the terrace, but very quiet overnight. Also before 9am in the morning, hammer banging and electric drill noise outside window next to our headboard, suggest workmen check if room occupied before commencing work! But overall would recommend a stay, the staff were all very friendly and...
