Nice hotel apart from the floors that cause a lot of noise. Breakfast is very nice and staff is friendly.

Het hotel is in the centrum. Het is een oud hotel met planken vloer in sommige gevallen afgedekt met oude vloerbedekking (typische Engelse stijl) dus je hoort echt iedereen lopen gedurende de verschillende tijdstippen. Ook de tussendeuren in de gang die brandvertragend moeten werken hebben ook hun geluiden. De fitness ruimte stelt niets voor. Een home trainer, loopband, stepper, wat gewichten en een buiktrainer. Deze faciliteit wordt ook niet vaak gebruikt de keer voor mij was 1 week eerder volgens de intekenlijst. Ontbijt was goed, personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Quick access to Leeds City Center, as well Leeds Central train station. Nice hotel with great history that shows walking the halls and rooms.

Heeft dringend een renovatie nodig!
Mijn kamer was niet meer dan een grote kast. Het meubilair staat er al sinds de jaren 70. De badkamer is minimaal en je moet over het toilet klimmen om in het bad te komen. Alle vloeren zijn van hout en kraken behoorlijk, ook die van je bovenburen. Ik had het geluk Leeds op een zomerse dag te bezoeken. Helaas had mijn kamer alleen een tafel ventilator en kon het raam slechts op een kier. De faciliteiten van het hotel zijn een lachertje. De gym heeft vier gewichten één home trainer en een bankje voor buikspier oefeningen, verder niks. Het enige pluspunt is dat het hotel om de hoek van het station staat. Je kunt dus snel weer weg. Volgens een zaken relatie heeft het hotel ook kamers die gemoderniseerd zijn. Als dat zo is had ik graag zo'n kamer gehad. De receptie en de vergaderruimtes zijn ook aan zo'n upgrade toe.

The room looked pretty old and not that clean. Also the TV remote didn't work. But the breakfast was decently nice! Also the area was very nice and safe that I could walk around the street by myself.

Conveniently situated hotel in the centre of Leeds in a glamorous older building full of character and charm. The staff thoughtfully switched my room to one on a higher floor due to a function as I was leaving early in the morning to catch a flight, and also offered me coffee in the morning due to a pre-breakfast departure. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a characterful and affordable hotel with polite and considerate staff, my only regret was being unable to make use of the room for the whole night! Hotel is also conveniently located directly behind airport bus stop.

The hotel was having extensive work being done the hotel was wrapped in scaffolding The hotel tried to put myself and my wife in separate single rooms although we had book a twin bedroom and told us their were no other rooms available We did however end up in a double bedroom after complaining (just not good enough) No discount offer for poor standards and service

Early unexpected start
Arrived to check into the hotel at 6.30pm therefore not at a time you would expect to be busy. Took over 20mins to check in. 2 people at reception dealing with the person in front. When I finally made it to my room it was chean and tidy and given the time obviously dark outside. Quick shower, into a tux and out the door. 7.30 am the banging on the scaffolding outside my window started. This wouldn't have been ideal if I had been warned about the early morning wake up call on check in. However I was not told there work was taking place outside my room. Disappointing experience in general.

Good location but tired rooms
Hotel is in a good location but is an older hotel with creaky floors and old room fixtures. Only there for one night but the room was so hot and ended up having to leave the window open all night. Although old and tired fittings the bed itself was comfortable but would suggest there are much nicer hotels in Leeds for the same price.

great stay staff cant do enough for you
stayed at the met for the third time staff are amazing and go out of there way to help . order room service at 3 am 15 min later it was there , bar 2am service was fast . chrck in was smooth and easy. we were on the 5th floor this floor isnt to the standard of the ret of the hotel as it is under referb still very nice but not as good as first flooor , over all as always great stay and will be back in the comming weeks .

Ive been working in leeds from this hotel and have only just discovered co workers have been trying to contact me via phone calls to my mobile and the calls werent coming through. Im with EE a very reliable network and i have the latest samsung. Very disappointing. Ive lost time and money over the lack of signal

Great hotel
I enjoyed my stay here. The location was great - only a couple of minutes from the train station. I was upgraded into a King room which was very comfortable and had everything I needed. There was lots of little touches that made the room great to stay in. Staff were lovely and very professional. Some of the room could do with a little updating to improve the condition, but overall the room was exactly what I needed and I have booked to stay here again on my next work trip to Leeds.

Room or I should say micro room bathroom only 800 mm wide so shower tiny to get to the toilet you need to be flexible . Lovely hotel stayed one night using their on sight parking . On arrival we parked the car and checked in . There was a £20 charge for parking which we were aware of when we booked but on arrival we were given this for free . Friendly staff on reception and a spacious and comfortable room . Highly recommend !! ⭐️

Poor stay, fire alarms went off for two hours and stood in the street in the rain from 7:30-9:30pm … went into bar and water was coming through ceiling on to light fittings and no one even bothered to turn the electric off. Total fire hazard and putting a bucket underneath isn’t going to help

Very dated
Arrived at the Met after a long journey checked in the hotel is really dated and could bo with a bit of modernising new radiator in bathroom to keep your leg warm when visiting the toilet then went down to the bar about 4pm nobody had stocked it up from night before so we left to find somewhere with a little variety to drink so a bad start The restaurant was also dated but the food made up for the lack of sparkle in the room
