Historische en bijgewerkte boerderij gebouwd in 1808

Overzicht van onroerend goed: Dit 200+ jaar oude huis werd gebouwd in 1808 als onderdeel van Oatlands Plantation. Het hoofdgebouw is waar je zou verblijven en is een prachtig, volledig bijgewerkt federaal huis, liefdevol gerestaureerd met geweldige aandacht voor detail. De keuken heeft marmeren toonbanken, roestvrijstalen apparaten, gasfornuis en een diepe boerderijgootsteen. Originele hardhouten vloeren zijn in fantastische staat, ingebouwde boekenkasten en meer! De slaapkamer op het hoogste niveau heeft een complete badkamer met op maat gemaakt tegelwerk en een wasmachine / droger. De bovenverdieping loft kan worden gebruikt als een tweede, eigen slaapkamer, met twee queen size bedden. Deze woning beslaat 3,5 hectare prachtig aangelegd land en bevat ook drie vriendelijke kippen voor uw vermaak. Er is ook een 2e woning (die momenteel wordt gerestaureerd) die de smid van het huis van Oatlands was achter het hoofdgebouw. Deze accommodatie ligt op een fantastische locatie met gemakkelijke toegang tot Rt. 15, Rt. 7 en 267. Deze rustige, natuurlijke oase ligt op een toplocatie om het centrum van Leesburg, Middleburg, Aldie en meer te bezoeken! Meer dan 19 wijnmakerijen in de buurt, Oatlands Plantation-evenementen, Middleburg-evenementen, Lansdowne Resort en minuten van Northern Virginia en Washington DC. Dit is een zeer functionele eigenschap voor familie- of vriendenbijeenkomsten, met veel ruimte voor kinderen om rond te rennen!

Great escape to Loudoun

This property is cute and is in a good spot south of Leesburg but close to Aldie/Middleburg. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. If you’re into gravel cycling, it’s also very close to some great riding.

Don’t overlook this little gem

The cottage was everything it says it is and more! As you enter the front door and take your first look around you will know right away, you made the right choice. It’s just far enough and close enough. The cottage is close enough to the vineyards, the stores, restaurants and other points of interest and just far enough to feel you are in an entirely different world. To us, it was a wonderful visit and definitely on our list for a repeat.

Fantastic

The house was as described. Perfect location for what we wanted to do. Relax and see some sights. The kitchen is stocked with anything you would need to make meals/cook. All of us slept like babies as the beds were comfortable. Bathroom is fully stocked along with a little library if you're a history buff. Lots of battlefields are close by. If you're looking to go into DC for the day - Ashburn Metro is close (it's under an hour train ride in)! Homeowner Jeremy was just a call away - although we never needed him as he's made a home away from home for whoever stays.

Lovely cottage at Oatlands with all the comforts of home

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend in this beautiful historic property. It’s not too far down Rt.15, so there are lots of restaurants nearby— and the Wegman’s is only 20 minutes away. We were truly able to relax when we wanted to. We found this home to be a particularly good value. Also we appreciated all the vintage, homey touches! At the same time, it’s nicely updated to include modern conveniences and is quite easy to live in.

Adorable historic cottage under great host

Wow, this cottage is adorable and Wow, we had some issues upon check-in, the host could not have been more accommodating and quick to rectify the situation. While its a perfect location if you want to take a day trip to Leesburg or Middleburg, It is right on a main road with quite a bit of traffic so if you’re looking for something setback off of the beaten path, That is more remote and quiet - this one might be a little too busy and noisy for you. Really enjoyed our stay and the location

Beautiful & Clean property

Perfect location for touring Civil war battlefields and historical sites. The updated house was very clean and beds were very comfortable. We loved the smokeless fire pit for relaxing after steering. The only downside was we brought groceries to grill and the listing did not specify it is a charcoal grill so we had to go back to the store for charcoal and also there was not BBQ utensils that we could find. (And if We knew ahead of time it was charcoal we probably would have planned different meals). Other than that we loved the stay!

♥️This Historical Treasure

We traveled from NC and my daughter and grandkids traveled from Romania for a 6 day retreat! We didn’t have to supply anything but the food. The house was well stocked, clean and centrally located near many Loudoun Wineries. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and walk down the old dirt road near the property. The host provided great pre-visit information and clear check-out info. We will definitely be back!

Amazing girls trip

We loved this place! We were here for a baby shower so we just stayed for a long weekend. It is only a short drive to Leesburg which is an awesome little town with great shops, coffee, and food. The house was extremely clean, had a beautiful kitchen, and we love how Jeremy kept the charm and personality of this old house while also keeping everything updated and easy to use or navigate. We also loved drinking our morning coffee out on the front porch. We hope this little house is available the next time we visit bc we will definitely stay again! Thanks Jeremy!
