L'aimabilité et la simplicité de l'hôte

Chambre propre et confortable. Propriétaire très serviable. Bon petit déjeuner sur la terrasse de la chambre. Vue de la mer en biais. A 2mn de la plage. Pratique pour aller visiter Taormina : station de bus à 200m. Je recommande.

Situé dans une petite rue calme juste à côté du bord de mer, ce B&B est un bon compromis pour aller visiter Taormina toute proche (bus à proximité) et pouvoir aussi profiter de la plage. La fille du patron parle le français et l'anglais. Très bonne literie. Point négatif: pas de place attribuée pour se garer dans la rue et des escaliers assez abrupts pour monter aux chambres situées au 1er et 2ème étage.

Siamo stati accolti fin da subito come dei familiari da parte di Ignazio e Francesca, il papà e la figlia che gestiscono questa struttura. A 10 metri dal mare in un contesto tranquillo, ordinato, silenzioso, a pochi chilometri dalla caotica Taormina ma vicini al bellissimo mare di Letojanni. La struttura si presenta in ottime condizioni e ben tenuta, pulita e integrata in una palazzina giustamente spaziosa. La camera dispone di un disimpegno di ingresso che conduce all'ampia camera da letto con balconcino sul vicolo laterale e dal quale di vede il mare, tv, armadio, letto matrimoniale comodo e lettino supplementare. Il bagno rifatto recentemente, moderno e nuovo, anch'esso curato e pulito. Avendo la necessità di avere una colazione senza glutine per una persona celiaca, Ignazio e Francesca si sono attivati e messi a disposizione per farci trovare una attenta varietà di articoli per celiaci cosicché si potesse fare una colazione completa, come completa sia di dolce che di salato era la colazione generale! Noostante loro si presentino come B&B, la mattina si premurano a pulire la stanza e a rifare i letti, trattamento tipico da hotel! Complimenti! Dulcis in fundo, sapendo che dovevamo andare al mare ci hanno fornito di ombrellone, che non avevamo con noi! Un piacere soggiornare presso Casa Famiani che senza dubbio diventerà il mio punto di riferimento ogniqualvolta mi troverò da quelle parti! Grazie ancora a Ignazio e Francesca per la loro carineria e disponibilità! A presto!

Small B&B right near the beach

We are traveling by bicycles & the owner let us bring the bikes up to our balcony. That was a much appreciated as if is hard to find places that will allow that in Italy. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a nice selection of foods right down on the beach. WiFi was strong.

Nette Unterkunft in Letojanni

Gute Entscheidung im Casa Famiani für eine Woche zu wohnen. Zentrale Lage in Letojanni, Parkmöglichkeit vor der Unterkunft vorhanden und jeden Morgen ein umfangreiches und leckeres Frühstück.

Clean and well maintained hotel, good staff but the location was not nice for us.... and It is not as close to Taormina as said in the reviews. We had to hand our heavy luggage 2 floors by stairs.

Casa Famiani for a Memorable Stay in Sicily

The location was extremely convenient and suitable for our needs. Everything was available in the vicinity. The room was comfortable, clean, and well attended. We enjoyed the balcony in the evening in view of the sea. The only unpleasant aspect were three floors of stairs, but that was good exercise anyway. Ignazio was very kind and did everything to make our stay perfect. The beach equipment: ombrella and chairs were included. A very positive detail. The restaurant for breakfast was a terrace overlooking the beach: lovely indeed, with nice personnel. Excellent food available for lunch and dinner (obviously not included but convenient).

perfect...

very relaxing, comfortable room with a lovely comfortable bed, the staff were very friendly and very helpful... The location of Letojanni is a perfect base for exploring Taormina where accommodation can be expensive... There is a local train station minutes from the hotel which is ideal for getting to Catania or Messina... Would definitely recommend!!

Comfortable, clean, quiet B&B a great location.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at Casa Famiani B & B. The room was relatively basic but quiet with a comfortable bed plenty of space for clothes, super shower, quiet air conditioning, nice balcony ( not very exciting view but very pleasant to sit out on) and kept really clean. Ignazio and his lovely mother Enza were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast location at Ignazio's ((excellent) restaurant on the beach was a lovely start to the day. Ignazio was usually around at breakfast and always accessible for any queries. Restaurant staff were very good special thanks to Justyna at breakfast and Massimo at dinner. Ignazio sorted out our taxi to and from airport but if you are traveling lighter and arriving earlier than we were, there is good public transport from Catania to Letojanni. Beach is pebbly like most beaches in the area but the water was clear and quite warm, another bonus is that the beach beds and all important umbrella are included. There are a lot of sellers on the beach (where aren't there now?) but you can buy the rubber soled beach shoes v cheaply which are great for the pebbles. If like us you want a really relaxing holiday with the option of excursions and sightseeing trips in a comfortable friendly place at a reasonable price I would certainly highly recommend Casa Famiani.

All in all, it was a good choice quality and pricewise. The hotel looked well-kept, and the room was spacious and clean, with decent furnishings and air condition. However, the bed was not a double: it consisted of two single mattresses. The bathroom was spacious and clean as well, with all the modern amenities. There was no bathtub though. There was complimentary tea/coffee in the room on the check-in day but they were not filled up. The free wi-fi functioned well. The balcony with a side view over the sea had a table and chairs making a cosy setting for enjoying evening tea. The owner was very friendly and helpful. He spoke English well and appeared professional at all times. When requested, he fixed the little problem with the safe in the room on the same day. Timetables for local transport were available downstairs. The guests got free sunbeds and parasols at a nearby beach. The check-out time was earlier than standard, at 11. The breakfast was served at a beach bar, and the serving time was till 10. The breakfast was insufficient, with limited choices, which was not unlike the overall Italian standard. The freshly baked bread was a nice touch though. Late risers were asked if they wanted anything from the buffet table before it was cleared. They made good coffee by order. The location was very convenient for enjoying the nearby pebble beaches. The railway station was within a stone throw, and Taormina was reachable within 15 minutes by a frequent local bus.

Great place (as most of reviews say) Ignatio was there to greet us and then left us to our own devices (unless we needed something, when he was on hand to help). Breakfast was lovely, on the beach in the sun. Room was clean and had everything we needed....

Highly recommend it ! Staff super nice and carrying , very friendly and helpful , room really cleaned. They do have a restaurant as well with Sicilian speciality , really good as well.

A nice B&B near the beach

We have a lovely stay at the Casa Famiani B&B. There were several signs marking the way to the building which made it easy to find. The room was very comfortable and clean. You are only a block or so from the beach and not so far from Taormina. The wifi also works well. Breakfast is a block away at a restaurant/cafe on the beach. The view is great and it's a wonderful way to start your morning! I'd definitely recommend!

Fabulous holiday!!

We could not recommend more highly our experience at casa famiani. Just the perfect holiday for us. Fantastic hospitality. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and very friendly. Wonderful breakfasts - I will miss them! Definitely recommend the restaurant serving local fish as well as an excellent choice of wonderful pasta dishes. The pizza I had was absolutely huge and the best one I had ever had! Love it love it love it. Will be going back soon.

Piccolo B&b in posizione strategica x visitare Taormina, posizionato sul lungomare di Letojanni. Camera pulita e confortevole con comodo terrazzino da cui si vede il lungomare. Colazione adeguata e abbondante servita in terrazza lungo mare. Titolare cordiale e attento alle esigenze dei clienti.

great location by the beach and grocery store

Good place to spend the holiday by the quiet & peaceful seaside. Enjoy reading book on the partial seaview balcony. Room in a good condition. It takes 15 mins to go to Taormina by bus. The station is nearby and very close to train station as well(3 mins walk). Breakfast time was lovely every morning in the grandma's kitchen -- Grandma preparing nice hot drink and fresh-cut parma ham^^ She even picked and packed some fruit for us before we left Letojanni. Thanks for everything that makes our trip memorable,
