Water's Edge is a house on beautiful Lake Malone in Western Kentucky. Lake Malone is the perfect location for hiking, fishing, boating, kayaking, or just plain relaxing. Our home has over 200ft lake frontage and is in one of the most desirable locations on the lake, directly across from Shady Cliff Marina. We know that your 4-legged family is important, so pets are allowed with prior notice. Our property features a private dock, fire pit, gas grill, charcoal grill, and 3 kayaks for your enjoyment.
You’re sure to have a fantastic time in this fully furnished 3 bedroom/1 bath cabin. 2 bedrooms are furnished with full beds, and the 3rd with a qween bed. The dining area has a farmhouse table that will seat 6 people so you can sit down to family meals. There is 1,100 square foot of decking with several seating areas for the family.
Lake Malone is a 788-acre lake enclosed by dramatic sandstone bluffs and surrounded by forests. Take advantage of visiting our local businesses by enjoying 20-minute drives to adjacent small towns or take a day trip to Nashville, TN. To see walk through video find me on TikTok Letreze Stoots.

We just wrapped up our second stay at a beautiful VRBO on Lake Malone, Kentucky, and it somehow managed to be even better than the first. This place truly has everything you could think of—every detail is covered, which makes it so easy to just show up, relax, and enjoy.The setting is incredibly quiet and peaceful, perfect for unplugging and spending quality time together. The home itself was spotless and well cared for, which immediately made us feel comfortable. The views are absolutely scenic—waking up to the lake each morning never gets old.Fishing was fantastic during our stay, and we made some unforgettable memories as a family out on the water and just hanging out together. Those are the moments you can’t really put a price on.On top of all that, the host was amazing—kind, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. You can tell they really care about making sure guests have a great experience.This has quickly become a special place for our family, and we’re already hoping to come back again soon. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with everything you need and more.

Wonderful, relaxing time at the lake.

This property provides easy access to the lake. It is a very cozy lake house with everything you might need. The decks were our favorite part, with multiple sitting areas, heaters, propane fire pit. Both gas and charcoal grills. The host is excellent, responds very quickly and was so friendly, I felt I had made a new friend. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Best Peace and Quiet in Years

On a hidden gem of a lake along the "no wake" zone, this little house is loved and cared for. The deck and the dock is where we spent our time, watching the birds and enjoying the music that drifted across the lake. It was great!

Fantastic Family Trip

Family of 6 (kids aged 3-9) and our golden doodle enjoyed a week right on the lake. We fished off the dock, rented a pontoon boat from marina across the bridge and enjoyed smores at the awesome firepit. Very quiet and peaceful setting. Huge deck overlooking lake & marina, lots of board games, and so much more we did not get a chance to do. Highly recommend! While we missed the summer-like weather by a weekend, we would love to come back and actually get to enjoy being in the lake during summertime.

Perfect Quiet Getaway

This house is perfect. Corner lot with access to the lake. Bring plenty of bait to feed and catch the fish. The area is so quiet and perfect to decompress from the hustle and bustle. Keep your eyes open because you might find some deer walking across the yard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying here in the future.
