Perfect for our needs
The property could use some updating, but it was perfect for our needs. We were in the area for a couple days and needed a place to sleep & it was close to Buffalo Trace, which was really our main reason for being in the area.

Wonderful place to explore bourbon country
This place was quiet, cozy and very affordable. Very centrally located for bourbon exploring and close to downtown Frankfort. We loved it as it fit our needs perfectly.

I liked the location and access to the surrounding areas. The unit was clean and welcoming and on the first floor with park right in front. Unit looks like it has been updated recently, the right amount of items needed for a comfortable stay. They provided items necessary for morning coffee and small amounts of toiletries. The bedroom door was broken (it wouldn't close) and the bathroom was a bit small, but as it was just me there were no issues. I would stay here again.

Frankfort Trip
The property was difficult to get into the steps were very steep and not handicap friendly. But the condo was clean and had a good amount of storage. It was difficult to access the internet and tv. The host was very helpful and went above and beyond to help.

Bourbon Trail Adventure
If you are looking for a comfortable home away from home you've found your place. There were some tasty snacks left on the counter when I checked in and there was plenty of coffee for my morning start. The bed was very comfortable and the living area was nicely decorated and cozy. Every question I had was answered quickly. I would highly recommend this cozy home for your next visit to Frankfort.

Whirlwind weekend
This was a crazy weekend, which started with historic storms that took out trees, the electricity for the first 5 hours we were checked into the room, and the internet the whole weekend. The hosts were absolutely amazing! They worked with us for check in around the worst part of the storm, they had a power outage care package dropped off with a candle, lighter, flashlight, and extra blanket. The room itself was cozy, clean, and a great location for us. Would definitely recommend these hosts and would definitely stay again!

Once you find the unit it's fine.
It was difficult to find this unit in the dark. The instructions I got from VRBO said there were building numbers, but they are small and difficult to find at night unless you have a spotlight. It didn't help that Google maps had us at building 100 when we needed building 300. Also the lock combination on the VRBO site was wrong, although fortunately the email I got had the right combination. I would have called someone to help locate the unit if I had had a phone number, which is probably why they don't provide a phone number. After we were in the unit it was fine. Nice kitchenette, one nice bed, one fairly bad pull-out bed. The pull-out bed would have been nicer if we could have found some sheets for it. It's OK to provide a Roku instead of cable TV, but the Roku in this unit is so old (came out in 2010) and underpowered that it wouldn't run most of the apps installed on it. Even Netflix was limited to the old janky interface that is more difficult to use than the current interface. Please spend $30 on a more modern Roku. Hint: Netflix will stop working on this device on December 1.

Sharon rented two of our condos for other guests. I let Sharon know ahead of time that this wasn’t allowed but in speaking with her I ageeed to allow her guests to stay. The guests in our first unit did not come to stay as Sharon called to let me know that they smelled marijuana upon checking in. (Which smoking isn’t allowed in any of our units in this building). My husband quickly drove to the condo and reported there was no smell of marijuana in the condo. Sharon’s other guests stayed the duration of the booking in our other rental. Upon checking out and my cleaners entering to clean unit, marijuana wa a present on the kitchen table and the doors was so strong in the condo that we had to bring in ozone air purifiers for the remainder of the day and cancel our next guests reservation taking a loss on our unit. Would not recommend resenting to Sharon. I believe she left a negative review due to VRBO not refunding for her stay. Our description reflects the location of our rental accurately.

Nice for a quick getaway
Our family stayed here for a quick trip. The owners are very kind and quick to help out and answer questions. The check in process was simple, they have an easy to use door key pad. The location is good for bourbon tours. The bed is comfortable, it was nice to have a small kitchen with microwave, there is a big park and splash pad across from the condo. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the place could use a good deep clean and a few things needed to be repaired.

Clean well maintained apartment building(can replace the very dead potted plant out front though) 🙂. Rooms were decorated so nicely! Bed was comfortable, bathroom was very clean, nice magazines and brochures. Kitchen and linen closet had everything I needed. Linens smelled very fresh. 4 stars because things needed cleaning. The microwave and keruig needed a good wipe down. Under the bed needed cleaning and the pull out couch mattress was full of crumbs. You can tell Kelley wants you to have a comfortable stay. Apartment smelled fine but adding air fresheners would be a nice touch. Overall wonderful stay! Would recommend.

Great for a weekend getaway!
This condo is nice. Very clean and has everything you need. We loved how it is decorated -- so cute! Kelley answered every question I had. She was especially helpful in helping us find our way there on a dark and rainy night. I felt very safe in the neighborhood. The condo is within walking distance of a Mexican restaurant (very good!) and a pizza place. We walk everyday, so we were able to get out and walk to the Capitol and surrounding areas. I would definitely stay there again next time we decide to go on a bourbon tour.

Very clean and had all of the comforts of home. The owner stocked it with everything you would need if anything was left at home. The apartment was very clean and well taken care of. I enjoyed our stay and will be checking to see if this property is available on our next trip to Frankfort! There were also other personal touches throughout our trip that made us feel like if we needed anything or had any issues our requests would be met promptly. If your in town do not hesitate staying here and honestly we would have paid more for what we received. That in its self says a lot in my opinion!

We enjoyed our stay, the place is small but perfect for the two of us. Only two minor things I would change... Just one sharp knife would be nice. I couldn't even cut up an apple with a butter knife. Also I understand wanting to protect the mattress, but those plastic mattress covers are so hot at night! That being said, I still would stay here again. It was quiet, easy to get around the Bourbon Trail and clean.

Extremely pleased with this sweet spot in Frankfort. This older condo has been updated with travelers in mind. Small nut not crowded Very comfortable . Good location for touring the entire area from Louisville to Lexington! We would stay again and recommend.
