Dit is een groot vakantiehuis in Catskill in de regio Catskill. Het huis is schoon, zeer ruim met mooie meubels en mooi ingericht. Het wordt compleet geleverd met beddengoed, maar we vragen gasten om hun eigen handdoeken, al hun papieren benodigdheden, zeep / toiletartikelen en vuilniszakken mee te nemen.
Ideaal voor bruiloften! Het huis heeft een volledige keuken, WIFI twee woonkamers met een flatscreen-tv in elk en een eetkamer / woonkamer. We verhuren het hele huis aan één groep tegelijk. Hoewel het een groot huis is, zijn ook kleinere groepen welkom en zullen ze genieten van de warmte en het gezellige gevoel van accommodatie in Catskill in stijl! De woning is prive met uitzicht op de bergen. Onze woning heeft 2 hectare vlak en zeer bruikbaar hectare met een schuur dat is een recreatieruimte met een pooltafel en air hockey. Het is centraal gelegen om te skiën in Hunter Mountain op slechts 5 tot 7 minuten. Windham Mountain ligt op ongeveer 15 tot 20 minuten van ons. In de zomer zijn we slechts 5 tot 15 minuten naar verschillende meren. Ook zijn we dicht bij Fenicië voor een aantal geweldige slangen. Woodstock is ongeveer 30 minuten. Controleer de tarieven bij de eigenaar, omdat deze fluctueren volgens seizoen en beschikbaarheid. We bieden twee buitengrills en twee picknicktafels.

Great house for our large group with multiple families and small children. We loved hanging out in the separate game room/barn after the kids went to bed. The kids loved the outdoor fire circle and nearby hiking trails. Hope to come back next year!

It was a nice enough house. There was no coverage on some of the windows which creeped us out. Not getting back to a renter/Vrbo about how many nights and acting as if he was not aware. The house is quaint old farmhouse. The girls enjoyed the game room and the large dinning room was wonderful so we could all eat together. It was nice to have the bedding, hand soap and kitchen equipment included. It made it easier to travel. Also, you can tell that renovations are being done that will make the house even better.

This was a great house! I went away with 8 women for a book club retreat. The house had 10 bedrooms so there was more than enough space. The house had a lot of charm. Family Reunion

Great place for our 15 person family get together for people of all ages, from 5-75 years old. Great lawn for yard games, the game room was a big hit, a kitchen with all you need to cook good meals for lots of people. Would highly recommend.

Family reunion ski weekend

This house offered plenty of space and a great place to unwind after a day on the slopes. We enjoyed the closeness to the slopes (less than 15 minute drive) and cooked some great meals in the kitchen, dining on the glorious table in the dining room. My 9.5 month old grandson loved crawling through the “tunnel” under the long table;/)

A perfect Thanksgiving

Our extended family has been staying here for several years for a reunion of sorts at Thanksgiving. The number of bedrooms and beds are perfect for the 16 or so relatives and our dogs that come together once a year for this holiday. The home is large with a great working kitchen and enough room for all the cooks to be in there at once. The dining room easily seats us all comfortably. The recreation barn is charming with its variety of games, and the huge yard is perfect for the dogs to run off leash. Unfortunately we have never visited in season to utilize the picnic and campfire areas. The host is friendly and accommodating, always responsive when we have a question. We expect to spend many more future holidays at this charming and welcoming home.

Always a great time

This is our second year staying at this house to play volleyball and enjoy the summer in the Catskills. Like last year, we had a great time hanging out in the backyard field and in the house. Beautiful place

We stayed at this wonderful property during my mother's memorial service. It was nice to have such a large place so my family could all stay in one place. Lexington big house

Nice, big and clean house. The kitchen was very well stock. My only negative would be the game room. The air hockey is not operable and there was only one pool stick to play pool with. I will come back to it again just because how nice and cozy it is. The location is superb.

Lovely spot. Beautiful. Lots of space and things we needed for multiple families to gather easily. We had a small hiccup with the code getting in-we we’re given the wrong code initially. But with quick communication we were easily able to get in. Not a problem! There was also some confusion about our check out time with cleaners coming early, but again- a problem easily solved. Great fire pit. Super comfortable beds. Kitchen was well stocked. Lots of space for all to gather. Thanks again for the great stay!

Perfect for Large Groups

My extended family and I stayed here for Oktoberfest at Hunter Mountain. We were a group of 18 adults and 5 kids and everyone LOVED it! The space is perfect for a large group. The teens and kids enjoyed the game barn that had foosball, air hockey, and billiards. The older folks appreciated that there were 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the 1st floor (no stairs!). Everyone else loved the fire pit, the gorgeous mountain views, and the peace and quiet of the location. We are already talking about making this a yearly tradition! Some awesome things to note: -the owner Vasili is extremely quick to answer any questions; he was a pleasure to do business with and you can tell he genuinely cares about his property. - the wifi had no less than 20 devices connected and was still going strong - the kitchen has every pot, pan, and utensil you could ever need and a generous selection of spices in the cupboard. They even had some extra large serving platters for the big meals we ate at the giant dining room table. - there is no "chore list" at check out other than to pick up after yourselves. I very much appreciated not needing to strip the beds, etc. It was more relaxing this way! - the house must be 100 years old but has been restored beautifully. It is an old farmhouse and we loved exploring it and admired it unique charm. It was also spotlessly clean and I can attest to this as my 10 month old was crawling and rolling everywhere.

Fun in the Catskills

We had a group of 11 family members gather here. I think you could add about 4 more and still be comfortable staying here. Beautiful area of country! Hiking trails vary from easy to difficult, so look before you head out. Plenty of places to eat out if you don’t want to cook. Everything is spread out, roads are windy and you’ll be using your phone to guide you. If you like breweries check out West Kill, we loved it there! As far as the house goes it’s kinda quirky, but we all thought it was a great place for a large group. A table long enough for everyone to sit together. We also had room to do a puzzle and play cards. We cooked several meals and the basics are all there for that. Beds were comfy. Enjoyed several evenings around the fire pit. The property manager, Vasili, is very quick to respond to any messages and even had 2 pies waiting for us on arrival! I had never been to this area and we all agreed it was a great way to spend a relaxing week surrounded by beauty!

Lots of room, indoors and out, and great for a large group. Note that not all of the doors are even closable, let alone latchable/remain closed. But very nice space and very easy communication with host. Recommended.

Wonderful House and Close to Hunter!

We stayed here with three other families back in January during a ski trip to Hunter Mountain. We loved the large table in the dining room and that was a nightly setting for hours of fun and games after long days on the slopes. The host was awesome and very quick to respond to any questions. The house is a short distance from Hunter and was perfect for our group.

Great for a large group!

We stayed here for a yearly friend reunion. 10 adults and 6 children (4-12). Plenty of bedrooms so everyone was comfy. Loved the 2 separate living rooms and enormous dining table that could accomodate a huge puzzle and board games at the same time. Large yard with fire pit allowed for running around and relaxing. House is very old so expect some wonkiness and uneven floors but it added to the charm. Town is close by with standard grocery store and a handful of good restaurants. An idyllic place to visit overall.

Memorial Day Weekend

We had 15 guys travel into the Catskills for a bachelor party. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed both the house and the area. There are plenty of golf courses, hiking, and outdoor activities around (you may just need to drive about 10-15 minutes). The house is fairly secluded, so we had plenty of privacy. We spent a full day playing yard games (huge yard) and enjoying the weather. The house was plenty big for the 15 grown men we had staying, with plenty of beds, large common areas, and sufficient cooking/grilling items. The only real drawback was the distance to the next town for gas/food/bar/restaurant/delivery; as it was maybe 10-15 minute drive to get anywhere. Overall, a great weekend in a great house!

Winter Vacation 2022
