Treat yourself to a holiday on Lake Como, surrounded by nature and the authentic atmosphere of a historic village.
The house is located in a nucleus of ancient houses, a characteristic context that still preserves the charm and history of the territory, with narrow streets and stone buildings typical of lake villages. It is an ideal solution for those who want to experience an authentic, quiet and panoramic stay, while remaining in a strategic position to explore Lake Como and the surrounding mountains.
The house is spread over three levels. The entrance is located on the middle floor, where there is a bright living room with a large panoramic window overlooking the lake. On this same level there is also the living area with a sofa bed, TV and bookcase, as well as a full bathroom with all services.
An internal staircase leads to the lower floor, where there is a spacious kitchen with a large dining table and a decorative fireplace (not usable), which gives the environment a warm and traditional atmosphere. This floor, well finished and welcoming, recalls the style of the old houses of the village, while offering all modern comforts. From here it is also possible to exit directly onto the road.
Upstairs is the sleeping area, in a characteristic attic environment. Here there are two bedrooms: one with a double bed and a single bed, and a second with a single bed. Both bedrooms have access to a shared balcony with great lake views. On the same level there is also a second full bathroom serving the sleeping area.
For guests there is a private garage located about 200 meters from the house. It is however possible to arrive by car to the immediate vicinity of the accommodation to load and unload luggage. For those traveling with multiple vehicles, there are several public parking lots available nearby and, generally, it's easy to find free parking spaces in the area.
The house is located in the upper part of Lierna, inside the historic village, characterized by narrow streets, stone passages and traditional houses that tell the history of the town. It is the perfect place for those who want to live an authentic experience, away from the most touristic areas but immersed in the genuine atmosphere of a small lake village.
In Lierna there are also some beautiful beaches, including the famous Riva Bianca, perfect for relaxing, swimming or enjoying the lake during the summer season.
The center of Lierna, the lakefront, the beach and the train station can be reached on foot in about 15-20 minutes. Keep in mind that the route is uphill on the way back, a typical feature of villages overlooking the mountains of Lake Como.
In the immediate vicinity of the house there are numerous hiking trails that allow you to explore the surrounding mountains and enjoy beautiful views of the lake. Lierna also has a particularly strategic position for visiting the area: Varenna is a few kilometers away and is easily accessible by car, train or boat. From Lierna railway station there are direct connections to the main towns on the eastern shore of Lake Como, as well as to Milan and Valtellina. From Varenna it is also possible to use the ferry service to reach Bellagio, Menaggio and the other towns on the western shore.
