Step over the threshold of this exquisite, stone cottage to find accommodation with a plethora of rustic features and a bright, airy ambience. Enter the kitchen/diner, with its vaulted ceiling, heavy beams and chunky, wooden steps. Open the stable door in here on fine days as you cook, dine and relax in each others’ company. The lounge, with its high ceiling, with mezzanine above, is another superb social space, with a warming log burner for the chillier evenings plus Smart TV and relaxing, comfortable furniture. The bedroom up on the mezzanine level offers a sumptuous king-size bed. The second bedroom is at the lower level and is arranged as a twin but may also be set up as a king-size by prior agreement if that better meets your needs. The family shower room is also down here. Spill out into your private gardens to bask in the Devon sunshine. Light the BBQ, dine on the patio and supervise the children as they play out. As night falls, bubble in the hot tub and sit out under the stars beside the fire pit and enjoy the peaceful setting.


This countryside escape is set in 18 acres of meadows and woodland, with a mill stream running in front of the property, 6 acres of pretty, private woodland, smothered in bluebells during the spring, an exciting play area for the children plus an extensive network of off-road walking and cycling trails directly from the doorstep. The cottage is just 4 miles from the famous Strawberry Fields Farm Shot at Lifton, where you can pick up local produce and fresh bakes to take home for the evening. Further afield, the vibrant market town of Tavistock (8.5 miles) awaits with its many pubs, restaurants, and independent shops. With Dartmoor National Park just 6 miles away and the Tamar Valley just 3 miles away, walkers and cyclists are spoiled with breath taking landscapes, dramatic trails, and wonderful local wildlife. For more of an adrenaline fix, head to Roadford Lake (9 miles), which offers a wide range of pursuits from sailing to fishing, or the Climbing Centre in nearby Milton Abbot (3.5 miles).
