Chegamos ao Hotel Esperanza e nossa reserva prontamente foi encontrada. A recepcionista solicitou que eu passasse meu cartão de crédito e digitasse a senha para confirmar o pagamento das duas diárias. Não sei por qual motivo, o comprovante não foi impresso e ela me disse que não havia sido efetuado o pagamento. No check-out, realizei o pagamento em espécie (dolares americanos) e para minha surpresa ao chegar no Brasil, foi cibrada uma duária em meu cartão. Fiz contato com o hotel que pediu alguns dadis e o recibo que foi emitido por eles. Enviei todos os documentos necessários e nada foi feito. VOCÊ, HÓSPEDE, MUITO CUIDADO! ELES NÃO SÃO CONFIÁVEIS! Eu paguei minha estadia, duas vezes!!

Nei giorni in cui sono stato in hotel soggiornava una scolaresca un correre e schiamazzi in tutto il piano un apparecchi che diffondeva musica ad alto volume ho fatto la mie rimostranza alla reception ma nulla è cambiato. Só a localização é boa.
Hotel com ótima localização, quartos apertados e escuros, não fornecem toalha de mão e de piso. Café da manhã simples, eles preparam um kit com pão, manteiga, geléia, cafe, leite, suco, presunto, queijo e ovos, porém só tem uma pessoa fazendo o atendimento, chegamos a esperar 45 minutos para chegar o kit na nossa mesa. A internet é um pouco intermitente, o cofre do quarto não estava funcionando e a TV tinha o sinal com péssima qualidade. Só ventilador e não tem A/C.

Good, clean, basic hotel.
Good, clean basic hotel with friendly staff. Not a super hotel but a good choice for what you pay for. Excellent location right in the centre of Miraflores and walking distance to everyhting! Breakfast not something special but basic and ok including jam, butter, bread, pineapple juice, tea , coffe and omelette. Wi fi is really good in all the hotel! They have printed for us a document we needed which helped a lot. Their card machine had a problem and we couldn't pay via our mastercard but they accepted dollars! No Vat (tax) asked. We have paid as much as our expedia reservation was talking about. Even it has disadvantages, it is recommended!!

THE ROOMS HAD BRICK WALLS. NO PERSONALITY. VIEW OF STREET AND DIRTY ROOF TOPS. OLD CARPET AND POORLY MAINTAINED. MILDUE ON WALL PAPER BY THE WINDOW. SMALL SHOWER (2ft X 30inches, SMALL SPACE BETWEEN TOILET AND WALL (12-15 INCHES), SO IF YOU ARE A TALL PERSON OR HEAVY OR JUST LARGE, YOUWILL HAVE DIFFICULTY WITH TOILET AND SHOWER). THE THE SINK IN BATHROOM WAS VERY SLOW TO DRAIN AND THE HOTEL STAFF DID NOTHING TO CORRECT. THE WALL OUTLETS HAD NO POWER. I CALLED THE FRONT DESK AND NO ONE CAME TO FIX THE MATTER. I HAD TO SEARCH FOR THE FLOOR'S FUSE BOX AND SAW THAT THE FUSE TO OUR ROOM AND 3 OTHERS WAS TRIPED, SO I FIXED IT, YET NO STAFF CAME TO CHECK THE PROBLEM AND RESOLVE IT. POOR WIFI. HAD TO GO TO A LOWER FLOOR TO GET THE WIFI, YET THEY HAVE THE WIFI SET UP ON EVERY FLOOR.

IT MUST BE ALLWAYS SOMETHING GOOD ALSO AND NOT EVERYTHIG MUST BE AS BAD. - BRICK WALLS, NO PERSONALITY: WE ARE WORKING AND PLANING CHANGES IN DECORATION. SMALL SHOWER AND DISTANCE BETWEEN WALL AND SINK: IS TRUE WE STILL HAVE 12 BATHROOMS WITHOUT REMODELATIONS AND SOMEWAY SMALL. WE HAVE RECEIVED AN OLD HOTEL AND WE ARE IN THE WAY OF A REMODELATION. IF YOU FEEL UNCONFORTABLE WITH THE SIZE OF THE BATHROOM PLEASE ASK AT RECEPTION TO SEE THE POSSIBILITY OF CHANGING ROOM NEXT DAY, BECAUSE ON THE OTHER HAND WE ALREADY HAVE FINISHED THE REMODELATION AND EXPANSION OF 25 BATHROOMS, SO THIS WAY THE BATHROOM DON´T PRESENT ANY MORE THIS PROBLEM BETWEEN THE SPACE OF THE WALL AND SINK. - SINK: IS SLOW WHEN CUSTOMERS PUT TOILET PAPER IN THE SINK INSTEAD OF IN THE BASKET. THIS WAY THE SINK GET BLOCKED. WE HAVE TO PUT INFORMATIVE SIGNS IN THE BATHROOM, BECAUSE THIS BRING THE CLIENTS TROUBLE AND US, TOO. - WE RECEIVED 01 REPORT ABOUT A SMALL PROBLEM WITH THE WALL OUTLETS AND FIXED IT LIKE YOU SAID: THE LEVER WAS DOWN AND HAD TO BE PUT UP. NOT SURE IF WAS YOUR CASE. THIS HAPPENDS BECAUSE OF PREVENTION AND SECURITY. SOMETIMES OTHER GUESTS NEXT TO YOUR ROOM, CAN USE A HIGH POWER DEVICE AND WHEN THERE IS AN ELEVATION OF TEMPERATURE IN THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, AUTOMATICALY THE LEVER OF THE FUSE BOX GET DOWN AND THIS WAY WE PREVENT A POTENCIAL FIRE PROBLEM. - ABOUT WIFI ITS TRUE THAT WE EXPERIMENT IN SOME MOMENTS OF THE DAY (WHEN IT GIVES HIGH DEMAND) A REDUCTION IN THE SPEED WE CONTRACT. WE JUST CHANGED OF PROVIDER. FOR THE MOMENT WE WILL RESTART ALL THE ROUTERS 1 TIME PER DAY, THIS ACTION SHOWED US AN IMPROVE IN THE WIFI. ALTHOUGH WE STILL HAVE TO INVESTIGATE ABOUT NEW DEVICE OR MACHINE FOR A BETTER WIFI. LET YOU ALSO KNOW THAT COMPUTER IN THE FIRST FLOOR IS FREE TO BE USED BY ANY ONE. - ABOUT YOUR DEFINITION OF JUST A STEP ABOVE A HOSTEL, IS NOT SO EXACTLY AS YOU SAID, BUT IN THE PRICE HAVE TO SAY THAT YOU PROBABLY ARE RIGHT. SO IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A INEXPENSIVE HOTEL, YOU CAN TRY AND SEE THAT WE CHARGE YOU MAY BE AS A HOSTEL BUT GET SOMETHING MORE. - FINALLY HAD TO SAY THAT YOU ARE PUTTING ALL THIS REVIEW IN SEVERAL PARTS ON THE WEB, BECAUSE YOU ARE ANGRY IN A PERSONALLY WAY, ALTHOUGH WE GAVE YOU A VERY SPECIAL PRICE AND YOU WANTED AN EXTRA DISCOUNT, THAT WAS NOT POSSIBLE FOR US. It was very cold with no heat in the room. I had to leave my room to get wifi. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. I was supposed to pay 1/2 price for this room but payed full price. $30 is full price for 1 person in a room. Loved the area!

Hotel that offered exactly what was needed
The staff were particularly helpful. The hotel offered all that was needed for a short stay in Lima. A buffet breakfast would have been better, but the staff shone through as being particularly attentive.

Buen servicio y buena atención, solo resaltar el detalle del pequeño bote de agua en el lavamanos de la habitación 103 que nunca fue resuelto, del resto todo muy bien. Especial atención y amabilidad del Sr Sixto y del resto del personal de recepción, muy amables.

Good area, good price and a decent room.
The area is very good, clean and safe! Nearby kennedy park, resturants and bus stations. 10 mins to the beach. Room is good, shower room is quiet small, that's the only thing. The rest is good.

El personal super amable y con muy buen trato, por ese lado me sentí muy bien. Tuve problemas porque el baño era muy pequeño y no podías ni moverte dentro de él. En las fotos colocan otros baños aparentemente. La ubicación super buena.

Estimado, es posible que por estar con alta demanda haya habido la necesidad de colocarte en una de nuestras habitaciones aún no remodeladas. Contamos alrededor de 35 habitaciones de las cuales el 70% han sido ya remodeladas. Desafortunadamente la remodelación de todos los baños no es posible lograrla al mismo tiempo. De todas maneras le agradecemos los comentarios acerca del trato de personal. Continuaremos mejorando.

Lage und Preis-Qualität Verhältniss einfach super
Superlage. Ausgezeichnetes Preis-Qualität Verhältniss. Wasser, Strom, WC - alles hat einwandfrei funtioniert. Aber mann soll realistisch bleiben - für so wenig Geld gibt es keine wirkliche Wunder. WiFi Netzwerk unterstützt den SecureLine VPN Verbindung nicht, stürzt sofort ab, und ist auch im ungesicherten Modus langsam und intermittent. Türschloß reines Schein. Aber ich blieb von den Mängel unbeeindruckt - Lage und Preis waren für mich entscheidend.

Vielen Dank, ueber Wifi muessen wir sagen, dass wir einige Probleme in der Vergagenheit mit unseren Dienstleister hatten. Heutzutage haben wir ein neuer Internet Dienstleister mit Lichtleitfaser (optical fiber) und seit dieser Zeit unsere Verbindung hat sich verbessert.

The neighborhood is the selling point here. The staff are very kind and helpful. Breakfast is fine. The rooms are quite small dark, with not much ventilation. A cheap option in a good neighborhood.

Great Hotel
It looks like the hotel have some renovations, new bathroom, shower. My room was clean and the desk clerk was ready for me when I arrived. the location is great, you can walk to the parks and the stores and very accessible to the beach.

Currently this is my preferred hotel/hostel in Lima. It has everything I want. Clean, fairly new, Not too fancy, not expensive, not noisy and has a great location. I only had breakfast once and it was above average.

The neighborhood is pretty poor. The room is small and very hot during the summer. No A/C in the room. Bathroom is tiny and no bath towel. Will not Stay here again in future
1. This is an anonymous comment. 2. We don`t believe the neighborhood is pretty poor. Our location is normaly the best valued thing by several travelers: Safe, clean and near to attractions. 3. We can have some rooms a bit smaller of others. Not all rooms are the same size. Also not every bathroom will have the same dimensions in all rooms. If some time you are not happy with your room or bathroom, please let us know in the moment and we will try to show you other options in order to see the posibility of change you of room. 4. Is true that in this year because of the world changing climate conditions, we experiment this 3 month summer higher temperature than the used ones. 5. We allways said, show and make it clear that our rooms don`t count at the moment with A/C . But instead of that, we instaled in our rooms a high speed fun in the roof, that in our opinión don`t make a bad work. 6. We are not so sure to put air conditioning for only 2-3 months in the year, because that will force us to make higher our prices. 7. We allways put towels in the room. Is probably there could happend a mistake, but again if this occurs please feel free to ask reception in order to be able to solve your problems. 8. If you are looking for fancy hotel instalations and streets, you probably should look for a 5 stars hotel. But us you know the Price will not be the same.

Fantastic..value for money..bfast was basic .but it did the job..what was missing was a small fridge ..toaster..kettle..for coffee and tea..if they did then no need to provide bf..it is good to have a coffee when u wake instead of having to run around for one

For your next stay may be you could write us an email in order to be able reserve you a small Jr. Suite, in which you would be able to count with a small fridge and small Kitchnett if you would like to cook you. We allways will continue serving breakfast in our Cateteria (2nd Floor), in which we have one of the best peruvian coffees. If you don´t like to go out of the room in the early morning also would be the possibility to ask reception in order to send your breakfast to your room. Best Regards.
