'To be honest, I pretty much just slept here at night I didn’t do much else. The listing is perfectly accurate, so you should know exactly what you’re getting. The porch swing and view of the Mississippi, especially at night, is incredible.'

'We spent the week following our son playing baseball. The property allowed us a peaceful place to land, great location and wonderful amenities - very comfortable for the three of us and our dog to stay here. We thoroughly enjoyed the fish! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.'

'This is a great place with a beautiful view! It has everything you need for cooking and serving! The place was very clean and neat. The young people loved the pool. The only problem we had was several hornets nests, which caused three little kids to get stung. We bought spray and sprayed the nests.'

'Great size for three adults. The fenced yard was wonderful for our dogs. The host was very quick to reply to a question on check in day. We would stay here again. One item to note for those with asthma/allergies - there is a no smoking sign posted, but it does appear that other previous guests haven't honored this request. There is a lingering smoke smell indoors. The home was nicely cleaned, but this is a difficult smell to get rid of. '

' ' The Nest ' was the perfect spot for a reunion of old friends who grew up in a small town near the Adirondack Mountains . We came from our homes across the US to gather in Quincy and celebrate our 70 years of friendship and our 75th birthdays . The Home is very comfortable , impeccably clean , well appointed and beautifully decorated . Our Host was very kind and accommodating and her decorating creates a warm welcoming environment . 'This was the perfect home base for us and our adult children when we were not with extended family on Christmas Eve and Christmas. The rooms are smallish but comfortable and tastefully decorated. 'Private and very clean location. King bed was SOOO comfortable to relax and sleep in. Roomy bathroom. Just like staying in a fancy hotel. If was staying longer would have preferred more than a mini fridge. Since no kitchen we made due with doing dishes in shower & sink with a small wash tub. Possibly a small utility sink in laundry storage room would be beneficial. Brought an electric griddle to make our food a few times. 'The cabin rental was a great stay. Had some connection problems with the t.v. couldn't get past the check out date. The wifi was easy to hook up. The cabin was clean and smelled fresh. Did have some problems with ants on the countertop. Great place to stay, enjoyed our visit.'
