'Check in was disappointing. Was told numerous times checking was at 3pm , which I knew. Reception didnt offer to hold 1 suitcase whilst we had lunch & waited for check in. Reception told us there was no 'shuttle' from resort to park. Was requested to show reception where it mentions shuttle bus on website. I found this extremely rude & condescending. I found proof & showed reception. I didnt receive an apology. I was fortunate enough to be able check in before 3pm.'

'We were blown away by our stay in this wonderful property. It is small boutique hotel which has been immaculately restored by the owners. We had a suite consisting of a bedroom, bathroom and sitting room. It was well equipped, warm and comfortable.
We had dinner and breakfast at the adjacent Commodore Hotel and the food was very good. This is one of the best places we have stayed in on our Australia trip.'

'We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Second Valley Cottages and Lodge. The tranquil setting, spotless and cozy cottage, and thoughtful touches made it perfect. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and waking up to the peaceful sounds of nature was exactly what we needed to recharge.'
