'We received such a warm welcome at The Boars Head. It felt like everything in the room was really high spec. Loved that we had a stocked fridge (you had to pay for most items, though!) with free milk and a free dram each, too! A espresso machine with good choice of coffees and tea bags. 'An amazing place to stay. Pristine and classy decor. So relaxing and nothing is any bother for the friendly owner. The room had a small kitchen, with a full size fridge, which was perfect for keeping drinks cool in this heat. I loved it and would definitely recommend it.'

'Relaxed and comfortable hotel with a nice and welcoming atmosphere. Restaurant was good and had a stunning view. We enjoyed staying in Dundee and visited the stunning new Victoria & Albert museum. Taking the bus from the hotel into town was easy and a convenient way of getting around.'

'The breakfasts were very good different and well cooked and presented, the buffet had the usual but also water with lemons and homemade jams, fruit and yoghurts. But the homemade bread was fabulous. The only fault I could point out was that the duvet was very heavy, which is my preference for a lighter duvet.'
