Perfect Location
We loved out stay in this apartment in Old Lisbon! The location was ideal for walking the city, which we did a lot. The unit itself was clean, well appointed, and spacious. Would highly recommend this place and would rebook ourselves.

Energetic Neighborhood
The property was very nice and had all the required appointments. It’s in the heart of Lisbon’s city center, easy access to transportation and all the sights. The noise around the flat is very energetic, especially on the weekend nights, so bring your earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Wonderful!
This apartment is in the center of everything! Corner apartment with seven Juliet balconies give you a Birds Eye view of the all the action. Directly next to Elevator Santa Justa. Very comfortable and spacious. Be aware the music from the shops starts very early but it’s part of the charm. Just bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper and all will be fine.

Great apartment and great location
If you are wondering if you should book this place stop hesitating and do it. Spacious, clean and amazing location. Be aware that there is not an elevator but once you are in all is good. Beds are so comfortable. Roberto was always responsive to our inquiries and very helpful. The location is amazing. Walk out to the heart of everything. Will definitely stay here again if I return to Lisbon. Book it!!!!

The apartment is a spacious 2 bedroom (one with ensuite!) two bath, has high ceilings, many windows, amazing showers and comfortable beds! It was also in the best location for tourism! I would absolutely stay there again!

Problèmes à prendre en considération
Il y a beaucoup de choses à revoir dans ce logement. La petite chambre est bruyante, la fenêtre n'est plus hermétique, dans les salles de douche ça sent les égouts, le sol dans la cuisine est horriblement bruyant quand on marche, il n'y a aucun document qui explique où se trouve le compte électrique et nous avons été confronté à un soucis. Bref je suis très déçue de cette location.

Merci pour votre aimable séjour. Et merci à vos amis qui vous l'ont conseillé après deux séjours. Nous constatons que la fenêtre de la chambre est parfaitement fonctionnelle. Et étanche. Et réduit considérablement le bruit comme en témoignent de nombreux commentaires. Nous avons vérifié les salles d'eau et nous n'avons pas confirmé ces odeurs évoquées. Heureusement, d'ailleurs. Nous en sommes soulagés. Quant au problème, vous le savez, nous avons répondu à votre courriel dans les 10 minutes et réglé le problème. Votre réponse a été peu courtoise mais nous nous en excusons toutefois. Cette réponse rapide vous a été apportée un dimanche matin. En effet, nous tenons à être opérationnels en permanence. Nous vous souhaitons une bonne continuation. PS: l'appartement est hyper central. Aussi, si vous y entendez parfois les oiseaux, il a aussi le charme d'un centre-ville vivant.

I have rented vacation homes at least 20 times avg this is was my only bad experience. This is place was a step lower than a hostel but 10X the price. Furniture was stained, it was noisy, and bare-bare bones. Awful!

Spacious, clean apartment
Spacious and clean apartment. Host was very nice and accommodating. Location is great, it can get a bit noisy at night but usually dies down by midnight. Very centrally located and easy to get around. We would definitely stay there again if we ever make it to Lisbon again.

Perfect location!
Great place to base your stay in Lisbon. Everything was accurate and worked perfectly. We only used the master bedroom, so I can't comment on the smaller room. I do think the master mattress could use updating. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Spacious Property with the Perfect Location in Lisbon
We found this property to be the absolute perfect location for our week in Lisbon. It is located on Rue da Santa Justa across the street from the famous viewing elevator. The apartment had a large living /dining room area for us to relax in after each day of sightseeing. Our checkin process went well with the only issue being the lovely gentleman who met us spoke four different languages however none of them were English. We were able to navigate his explanations of how to use the property and the process for using its amenities. We were close to the metro and train stations for easy movement around the city as well as Sintra. Restaurants, bars and Fado music we’re all close by. Don’t want to always eat out? A grocery store is only several blocks away. It is also a short stroll to the open space on the river. The main walking street with stores and sidewalk restaurants between the river and large Plaza is only a block away. One of the unique aspects of the building this apartment is in is that you enter through a wonderful hat shop on the times it is open. When it is closed you use your own key to open the glass door to the building. You just can’t beat this place for its location in Lisbon!

Great location, steps from famed elevator and the core city. Perfect for a short stay. Always important, lots of hot water. But property amenities rather tired. First, beware stairs for access. Kitchen functional and basic — no dishwasher. But if you are not into cooking, surrounded by restaurants. One of the bedrooms lacks a closet, and had a saggy mattress. Living room was bright and spacious. But sofa was very uncomfortable. All in all, if just passing through, location, location, location.

Vaste et fonctionnel, cet appartement est situé en plein coeur du quartier historique. Tous les modes de transports sont à proximité et pour les marcheurs la visite des différents quartiers peut se faire à pied. Malgré la multiplication des restaurants touristiques, il reste de bons restos traditionnels tout proches ( comme « A Merendinha do Arco » rua dos Sapateiros, à 70m de l’appart). De plus de bons conseils sont donnés par les propriétaires qui nous ont accueillis chaleureusement. Merci à eux!

We liked it but there’s some challenges to know about...
This was our second visit to Lisbon and this time we wanted to give this neighborhood a try. All in all our stay in the apartment was good and we liked it. It’s very roomy, with lots of windows and high ceilings. For the price we felt that what we got was very reasonable and the owner/property manager was very nice and accommodating. That said, here’s some things that I think it might be helpful for others to know if they are thinking about reserving this apartment... 1) The location is right in the middle of a heavy tourist area. That’s what we wanted but it does come with some inconveniences. For instance there’s a grocery store nearby but it’s not as robust in selection as others in non heavy tourist neighborhoods. It was also always very busy and chaotic. Also the outside of the apartment is noisy. We found that the room on the Santa Justa side of the building was noisier than the other. The noise was most substantial between the hours of 7:00-23:45 (approximately) as street performers sing, tourists visit, restaurants set up, serve, and take down their outdoor seating. All these things are NOT something the property manager can change but it is worth noting. If you’re looking for tranquil surroundings this is not the apartment for you. 2)The property was clean-ish. Meaning, there’s mold in the bathrooms, some of the walls are scuffed, there’s stains on some of the furniture, but all in all linens, floors, kitchen, countertops, dishes, etc. were clean. 3) The beds aren’t the most comfortable. The larger bed could use a mattress topper for sure. The smaller bed was marginally more comfortable but it’s smaller AND on the noisier side of the apartment. Also, by USA standards we think it was probably more a full than a queen size bed. So if you’re tall, it might be short for you. 4) There’s NO elevator and the apartment is on the second floor. Also, the stairwell can be a little dark. There’s motion sensing lights but we found them slow to turn on. We compensated using our cell phone as a flashlight when we would start descending down the stairs at night. 5) If you like to cook, the stocked kitchen tools might be a problem for you. There’s a complete pot set but only two pans—the larger one was difficult to work with. The smaller one is in better condition but smaller. The knives are extremely dull. There’s lots of dishes and silverware! All of these things we were fine with. We enjoyed our stay.

This apartment is big and in an excellent location, just by the Santa Justa Elevator. The apartment has a great view of the streets below which is quite busy with people walking. The entry is through a small hat shop, then up 2 flights of stairs. The stairs are a bit squeaky as are the floors. Other than that, the place was great. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Location
Excellent location, unusual entry to the apartment, but that added to the charm. Large apartment and it was great to have the washing machine and dryer. The negatives is that it needs some care. The cabinets in the kitchen and counter tops were dirty. The bathrooms have mold and the whole place could use a paint job.

Great Roomy Apartment in the Heart of Lisbon
The spacious apartment was in a great location of Lisbon, easily accessible to all the city has to offer. I would highly recommend this apartment for its comfort, space, accommodations, location and service. Ana Paula was great to work with. She responded quickly to any questions in advance of the visit and while we were there for our 3 night stay. Excellent location close to Santa Justa elevator. Spacious living room as in pictures and well appointed kitchen which has both a washing machine and a separate dryer. Be aware that this is an inner city location and very noisy doof-doof music from restaurant downstairs from 7 am to midnight. Marginally better with doors closed. A number of improvements would help. The mattresses in both rooms and pillows very uncomfortable. Second bedroom no hanging space. No hooks in bathroom. Portable towel rail provided in 2nd bathroom not strong enough to hold towels.

Perfect Location
You can not beat the location. 5 minute Walk to all the major transportation, hubs for buses, trams and boats, all the major attractions and restaurants. Santa Justa elevator is at your door step. The apartment is spacious and well equipped with everything you need. The hosts were great too. You won't be disappointed.

This apartment is very spacious and modern and comes equipped with all the necessities you need. Although, we did not meet the host personally she was only a text message away. The location was perfect. From the balcony you have views of Santa Justa elevator and São Jorge Castle. A bakery and a restaurant are located right at your front door. The address is very easy if you intend on using Uber for distances and if not the metro and teams are near. Overall, it was a wonderful stay in Lisbon and the apartment was perfect.

Lovely, large bright space. 2 good sized bedrooms each with their own full bathroom. Comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen with both washer and dryer as well as the usual large and small appliances. And the location is superb. It is situated at the foot of the Santa Justa elevator and close to so many sites and public transit routes in old Lisbon. A unique feature is walking g through a small hat shop to get to the stairs that lead to the apartment. Definitely recommend this place. Joanne and Sherry Canada
