Beste gast, Hartelijk dank voor de herziening van onze vestiging. We zijn zo blij dat je een bevredigende ervaring hier bij onze chalet Saudade gehad. Wij hebben altijd genieten verwelkomen onze gasten met een glimlach en met een goede port, hen te helpen rond het eigendom en met hun bagage. We zijn blij dat je genoten hebt van onze heerlijke groot ontbijt in het Café Saudade slechts een paar meter verderop, we prijs ons in het aanbieden van een goede gezonde maaltijden voor iedereen die bij ons blijven. Inderdaad, Sintra is een historische stad op de top van een bergketen en parkeren is moeilijk, maar we proberen om onze gasten te helpen door hen gratis parkeergelegenheid straten waar ze de auto veilig kunnen verlaten. We hebben ook helpen met bus en trein schema's voor degenen die niet met de auto komen. Dank je wel weer. Wij hopen dat u ons opnieuw bezoeken in de toekomst! Vriendelijke groeten, Catarina Costa

Dear Sue, thank you for taking the time to review us. We're sad to hear you didn't have a great stay. We're sorry about the flying ants, they are some what common at this time of the year but we are usually very cautious to make sure we don't have any inside. We're sorry you have experienced this. Sintra indeed doesn't have night life, most our guests choose Sintra for that reason, as it is really quiet and peaceful. Most restaurants are open until 9/10pm. Sometimes later. We're sorry to hear you ate potato chips, please next time come and see us and we'll gladly help you :) As for parking, it is an old town and it might be difficult if you're not from here but we always try to assist our guests the best way to make the experience more comfortable and easy for them. I am sorry if we failed you.We hope in the future you can give Sintra another opportunity as we are a village with so many wonders and magic :) Thank you again and happy travels!

Dear Jo Ann, thank you for taking the time to review us, although it doesn't seem to be a fair review and you didn't not express this issues while still here with us, which is indeed a shame. The room you have booked - the Standard room - does not have a view. Nowhere it says the room offers a view. We do have rooms with a view and larger but they cost more. We have no direct access to the garden from the inside. We do have 2 rooms (Suite and Superior) that have direct access to the garden. Again it seems to me that this was just a wrong room choice and you wanted a more expensive room but ended up booking one of our cheapest rooms which is perfect for a lot of our guests but didn't suit you. As for breakfast, we have rates with breakfast and without. You have chosen the latter. The mold was an easy fix should you have told us. This is an historical house and we are constantly on maintenance. Sintra is definitely worth staying more than one night, one night is not enough to visit all the places, so we will strongly disagree with you on this matter as most guests that stay only one night say they wish they've stayed longer.
