Dit appartement op de 2e verdieping is voorzien van airconditioning in een gebouw zonder lift, maar biedt een absoluut prachtig uitzicht op Lissabon, de rivier de Taag en de brug 25 de Abril. Het heeft 3 slaapkamers, 1 badkamer, een aparte keuken en is geschikt voor maximaal 5 personen. De flat ligt in de wijk Castelo, zeer dicht bij het prachtige Castelo de São Jorge, en dicht bij Alfama en het centrum van de stad. De woonkamer heeft een comfortabele bank en twee fauteuils. Er is centrale verwarming in het hele appartement. Er is een centrale salontafel en een smalle veranda met een prachtig uitzicht op de stad en de rivier. Met dubbele beglazing in het hele appartement aan het uiteinde van deze kamer, is er een grote eettafel en 6 stoelen, dicht bij een handig keukenluik waar je eten of drinken uit de keuken kunt serveren. Hier zijn ook twee barkrukken. De keuken zelf is volledig uitgerust en modern, met een gloednieuwe wasmachine, oven, magnetron, koel-vriescombinatie, koffiezetapparaat en al het benodigde servies en bestek, potten en pannen om zelf te kunnen koken. Er zijn drie slaapkamers in dit appartement: twee slaapkamers hebben een tweepersoonsbed en é��n slaapkamer heeft een eenpersoonsbed. Alle drie de slaapkamers hebben ramen met uitzicht op de rustige straat en toegang tot een veranda. Hoewel er in deze straat weinig verkeer is, zorgen de dubbele beglazing er absoluut voor dat al het lawaai wordt geblokkeerd en het is mogelijk om hier goed te slapen. Elk van de twee grotere slaapkamers heeft een tweepersoonsbed en een fauteuil. Kleding en persoonlijke bezittingen kunnen worden opgeslagen in de kasten net buiten de kamers, in de gang. De derde slaapkamer heeft een eenpersoonsbed en een kledingkast. Het heeft een onafhankelijke deur, maar is ook toegankelijk via een van de andere slaapkamers, wat handig is voor kinderen, maar de deur kan ook worden gesloten voor volledige privacy. De badkamer is uitgerust met een groot hoekbad en een douchecombinatie. Er is een bidet, toilet en wastafel met grote spiegel en kast om badkamer items op te slaan.

Dit appartement bevindt zich op de begane grond van een gebouw in het historische centrum van Lisboa. Het is heel dichtbij (5 min) van het tramstation, restaurants en antiekwinkels. Als u een wandeling wilt maken, kunt u naar het kasteel van S. Jorge of naar de Miradouro de Santa Luzia gaan, waar u ook een mooi uitzicht heeft over Lisboa en de rivier. Het is de perfecte plek om te zijn als je de oude wijk te voet wilt ontdekken, je bevindt je op de top van een van de 7 heuvels en op loopafstand van de beste Miradouros van de stad. Het appartement ligt in het centrum van deze typische wijk, maar op een zeer rustige plek. The smell in the apartment was unbearable, making it impossible for us to use the master bedroom. The sofa and cushions were also dirty, adding to the overall discomfort. This apartment clearly lacks proper maintenance and care. We couldn’t wait to leave.Access was another major issue — you can't drive up to the front door due to street restrictions. We had to roll our suitcases for 500 meters and then carry them up three flights of stairs, which was extremely inconvenient.

The unit is as listed. 3 brs/2 full a baths. Very little storage to put anything away and the one closet was full of random items so it was unusable. View of Lisbon is amazing. Very hilly walk to the unit. Narrow staircase to get to the top level of the unit and no lights to guide you at night inside the building. Smart lock was very finicky as well. I received 2 different charges, one from VRBO at the time of booking and an increased amount from Joivy. I was refunded after being charged by Joivy but only after contacting them. We arrived 30 minutes prior to check in and waited outside. Approximately 15 minutes prior to check in the cleaners arrived. The unit was not ready for us to check in at the designated time. We had to wait an hour for the unit to be cleaned. I was forced to call the support team who told me the cleaners were done which was not the case as we were outside the entire time. This caused delays in our plans and forced us to reschedule our night. We could tell the unit was hastily cleaned as there was a dingy smell to the unit. We also booked transportation to the airport at check out where we were told the driver could pick us up at the unit however that was not the case. We had to walk and meet the driver at the bottom of the hill. I have contacted Joivy regarding our check-in experience and have not heard back. Because of this I would not stay in this unit again and do not recommend because of the lack of communication and accountability.

This apartment was clean, comfortable, and in a great neighborhood. It is located within a restricted area so the area is quieter with less traffic. The view of the city, river, and bridge were amazing from the apartment. Plenty of space for my family. Would highly recommend.

Our family of 4 (kids age 5 and 7) stayed here and really enjoyed it. This apartment is in the perfect location for exploring Lisbon. I definitely recommend booking a ride from the airport with the car service recommended in the listing. You have to have a special pass to enter the street and dragging your luggage over the cobblestones for 300 meters would not be pleasant. Our driver, Bruno, was fantastic. The apartment is at the top of some steep hills, but is very close to one of the elevators that lets you skip about 100 stairs and makes the trek up and down from the apartment much more doable. Getting into the apartment building was easy, but the lock to the apartment door was not working when we arrived. Luckily, a quick phone call to the property management company resolved the issue. The apartment itself is spacious and clean. There is an amazing view of the city and river from the terrace. I wish there were a couple chairs on the terrace so you could sit out there with your coffee or wine. Instead, we had to settle for standing to look at the view. The only downside of the apartment is that the only air conditioning unit is in the living room. There are no vents or AC units in the bedrooms, so it was quite hot at night. There was only one fan for 3 bedrooms. If each bedroom had a fan, it would be more pleasant at night. Despite the lack of AC in the bedrooms, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

Great property. Getting a taxi or Uber was a challenge because the road in front of us was closed off because one needed a card or something to open up the access. Plus, the taxis didn’t know where the place was.

We enjoyed our stay in Lisbon at this place. It is very near many places to see and excellent restaurants. The rooms were spacious and I feel it would be good for up to four people (we had three in our party. A few things to be aware of if you rent. I suggest not renting a car. The streets are VERY narrow and parking is nearly impossible. There is a lot of walking involved. We enjoyed the steps...but others may not. This apartment is perched on the top of a large hill. There is a washer, but no dryer. FYI. Overall nice place and the management team was kind and attentive when I needed their assistance.

Extremely clean and comfortable apartment in the heart of old town. The entire family gives it high recommendations. The only challenge was that Uber cannot take you to the door if you have luggage. You have to carry luggage 200m. It is worth the effort. Or take a taxi that seems to have access.

We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone who is able to manage the hills Alfama is known for. This apartment is on the 2nd floor which requires ability to climb several flights of stairs. I will say it’s worth the climb, our views were picture perfect!

Clean and spacious property with outstanding views of Lisbon. The apartment is well located on a quiet street, near the Castelo De Sao Jorge. This good localisation makes it easy to reach other neighbourhoods by walk. The Altido staff is easy to reach by phone and extremely helpful. Getting to the apartment by car and parking can be a challenge, but it's part of the adventure, isn't it?! We definitely recommend this rental and would go back in a heartbeat !

This is a beautifully restored, spacious top-floor apartment just below Castel St. Jorge. The view is truly stunning, beds are all comfortable. Everything was in working order except the washing machine, which was serviced immediately when I called the property manager and worked great the rest of our stay. The apartment is on a quiet street and is in a wonderful, central location--there are elevators that take you down to water level during the day, making Rossio square a quick and convenient walk. One note, the air conditioner only operated as a fan--not as a true AC. We had nice, cool weather most of our late May trip, but one day when the temperature reached 90 degrees the apartment got pretty warm. Also, this is a third-floor walk-up so might be tough for anyone with mobility issues.

All in all a great vacation rental. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. We were met at the door by staff who let into the building and showed us the ropes. The apartment itself was very spacious, clean, comfortable and well-appointed with three bedrooms and one bath. The view of the old city and river is absolutely amazing. It was beautiful to wake up to every morning and sip wine looking out the windows. That said, there is a price to pay for the views and that is the very steep hill to get to the apartment on a jjagged cobblestones street. Because of the historic district where the apartment is located, the one-way street to get to the apartment is basically closed to through traffic so you must walk about five minutes on very uneven cobblestone to a main road to catch a taxi. Also there are about 2 1/2 flights of stairs to get to the apartment. So I would not recommend this apartment if you have any mobility issues. We had wished there had been a little more stock in the kitchen such as coffee, sugar, salt and pepper, etc. but there’s a grocery store very close by. Overall, it was a lovely apartment and a great value.
