We had a fantastic stay at The Long Barn in Ericeira. The house is spacious, comfortable, and perfectly set up for a large group of us, with plenty of room for everyone to relax. The pool and garden area were real highlights, beautifully maintained and a wonderful spot to unwind in the sun.I would recommend the local Ubers for getting around. They were reliable, reasonably priced, and made the local area highly accessible. Fernandos was always on hand, friendly, and extremely helpful throughout our stay.We would highly recommend The Long Barn for a relaxing, family-friendly getaway.

Amazing stay in a clean, spacious villa, perfect for our group. Fernando, the manager, was very welcoming and even greeted us with a bottle of champagne. He is incredibly kind and always ready to help . We took a private chef who cooked fantastic meals during our stay. Many thanks to Louise for being responsive.Highly recommended! Don’t hesitate.

Incredible place

Our group consisted of 12 people who are all professional colleagues/friends, who planned this retreat after an international conference we had together in Lisbon. We wanted a relaxing place on the coast where we could all hang out and decompress from our busy professional lives. The barn is absolutely incredible. We had a private chef (Jamie, who the owner connected us with) who was absolutely amazing. He cooked us three solid meals and knew the space very well. The property manager Fernando was absolutely incredible as well- very responsive and communicative. He cared a lot about our stay. The place is clean, big, and perfect for a large group hangout. We made use of the pool just a little bit, and because we were there in early October it wasn't quite as warm as we would have liked. I do wish the pool was heated. We did have one unexpected issue- and I only bring it up because Fernando was so incredibly helpful and responsive throughout. The town had a water issue, which meant we had no running water for one night. This was not the fault of the property owner obviously, but they were able to really tend to our needs and create helpful contingency plans as a result of the issue. We could not be more impressed with the professionalism with which they handled the situation. Hopefully it was an outlier situation. All in all, we would stay there again in a heartbeat. Great space, location, and service. Thank you!

Amazing villa that looks even bigger than the photos

My husband and I are Ericeira locals and we wanted accommodation to host our friends and family who were visiting from different countries. Everybody loved the villa and the big pool. It's such a great place to relax. Most rooms have ensuite bathrooms and it feels so big. Both Louise and Fernando were so helpful in helping us to prepare and check into the villa. We want to come back again!

Perfect Villa for a Large Group

We have recently returned from a fabulous holiday at the Long Barn. We were a party of four families and the Villa offered us so much space! The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms were lovely. The Villa is in a fantastic location, just a short walk to explore the beautiful beaches and Ericeira is only 5 minutes away in an Uber. Louise was great responding quickly to emails and offering recommendations for our stay. On arrival Fernando was very welcoming and allowed us to check in a little earlier. We all had an amazing holiday, and we could not recommend the The Long Barn highly enough!

Beautiful

Had an absolutely lovely time at the long barn! I rented out for my friends hen it was the perfect space. the rooms were beautiful, the pool and outdoor area was such a lovely touch to our holiday. The kitchen was fully equipped and the lounge space was nice a spacious. There is also a fridge and sink in the utility room down stairs so we could keep our drinks cold when chilling by the pool. Louise was fantastic from the beginning with recommendations and fast replies. When we arrived Fernando was very accommodating and allowed us to check in earlier than planned which we are so grateful for. He also gave us a lift into Ericeria (beautiful town) when we had to wait for our return flight. The barn was absolutely gorgeous, better than described. I would 100% recommend and want to stay again if I return to Portuga. Thanks you so much for a lovely times!

Perfect group vacation house.

Huge house, very comfortably put together- inside and out. Comfortable beds, very nice bathrooms, Gorgeous outdoor spaces. Kitchen generously equipped. Louise was so responsive and nice. The location was beautiful- And when we got there, Fernando, who picked us up, left us with enough food to get us started with food for light dinner and breakfast. We would definitely stay there again.

The Long Barn Ericeira, Sanyo Isidoro

We were a party of 16 and this was a holiday to celebrate a family special birthday. The Villa exceeded our expectations as there was everything you needed for a large group to have a fabulous holiday. The location was also beautiful with lovely coves and beaches. The host was so friendly and accommodating, also helpful in familiarising us with the area. Everyone in the party has taken away lovely memories of a great holiday. We would certainly highly recommend this accommodation and location.

Spectacular Property Ideal for a large group of 12

Visiting Portugal for the first time - we were two families looking for spacious accommodation. Between us we have 7 kids ranging in age from 9 to early 20's. This house has it all. There is a lot of room. MANY MANY BEDROOMS and comfortable beds. A huge kitchen with breakfast bar. An amazing dinning area with a table that can seat us all. The house is just 30 minutes north of Lisbon so an easy commute to the capital and other great tourist sites. The closest supermarket is 10 minutes away and there is a small mini mart even closer for essentials. The beaches are amazing as are the sunsets. The sea can be rough - good for surfing and paddling, not so much for swimming as this is the Atlantic coast. The pool at the property was perfect. We all enjoyed a swim during our stay and the younger kids spent hours in there! We were there in August and the house kept nice and cool. The owner provided great communication, and her property manager was awesome. The airline lost one of our cases which he very kindly assisted us with recovering. I rate this property 5 Stars. I highly recommend you book it before someone else does.

A new favorite vacation home - LOVE!!!

We’ve rented many vacation homes, and this one truly stands out. The décor is stylish yet geared toward relaxation and fun. It is the perfect home for a large family or group vacation, with a layout ideal for indoor/outdoor living and a variety of areas for everyone to spread out. Our family loves to cook, and we are often disappointed with poorly appointed kitchens in vacation homes, but not so with this one. The open-plan kitchen was stocked with everything we could hope for, plus plenty of counter space to accommodate multiple guests grabbing a bite or working together on a group meal. The oversized dining table was perfection. We loved lounging in and around the pool, enjoying the blissful coastal breezes. The teenagers in our group especially appreciated the media/lounging room. Aside from the home itself, the neighborhood and nearby Ericeira are fantastic. Several great surf areas and beach clubs are nearby, and also many walking and biking trails. The oceanside village of Ericeira is truly charming and one of our favorites in Portugal. There are many good restaurants up and down the coast and various good grocery stores. I have only great things to say about the house, the homeowner, and the local manager of the house. The owner and manager could not have been more excellent or more helpful. I hope to return to the Long Barn and Ericeira again!

Perfect house for a large group

We spent a week here as a group of twelve (three families) and had a fabulous time. There was loads of space, more than enough bathrooms, great area and equipment for food prep and everyone was comfortable. The location is excellent with a lovely view around the house and everything you need just a short drive away. We really enjoyed it and will probably be back some time.

Big house with everything for a fun holiday

The Long Barn is a really nice house for gatherings. The main room has got a big island on the kitchen side, big TV screen and a big table to eat. The house and the pool was clean, with all the amenities you need to spend a really nice time with friends or family.

A wonderful vacation at the Long barn

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this property and I must say, it exceeded all our expectations. First and foremost, the spaciousness of the property was truly impressive. With a beautiful & huge kitchen, a common area, and a dining area, there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The place is modern and clean. The bedrooms were numerous and each one had its own bathroom. It was the perfect setup for a large family gathering, and we felt right at home.We were treated to stunning vistas of the surrounding landscape. One of the things that really stood out during our stay was the impeccable service provided by Fernando, the host of the property. He was kind, responsive, and attentive to all our needs. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, and we were truly grateful for his hospitality. Prior to our arrival, any communication with the owner was easy, helpful and accommodating (such as baby cribs & highchairs). The location of the property was conveniently situated a short drive to the beach, restaurants, supermarkets, and Ericiera, making it easy for us to explore the surrounding area. I definitely recommend this property and I am very much hope to return there in the future!
