Hotel is dringend aan een opknapbeurt toe. Meubels oud en beschadigd. Matras tot op de draad versleten. Vertrokken met pijn in mijn rug. Spijtig want de ligging van het hotel is optimaal om Lissabon te verkennen

Located close to the airport along main roads, which isn't disturbing (sound wise) with the windows closed. Each room has a balcony and large beds. Simple dinner available at the hotel itself. However, the room wasn't as clean as we had expected nor experienced in other hotels in Portugal.

Fijne binnenkomst, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel en nette schone kamer.

Goed hotel, alleen te ver van Lisbon
Fijn hotel, goede service, goed restaurant. Kortom 4 sterren waardig. Alleen bij het boeken niet goed op de afstand naar Lissabon gekeken. De afstand is te ver. Zoek je echter iets buiten Lissabon dan kan ik je het zeker aanraden.

Geen vakantiehotel
Het hotel is uitgerust en berekend voor zakelijke bijeenkomsten. Het zwembad is niet voorzien van parasols, deze zijn op aanvraag ook niet beschikbaar. Bereikbaarheid van het treinstation dat naar Oriente en verder naar downtown Lissabon wordt op de weg niet aangegeven. Aangezien het Engels van het personeel gebrekkig is, is het een hele onderneming om het treinstation te bereiken. Kortom geen vakantiehotel, geen aanrader.

Needs hospitality improvement
The hotel is located in the industrial area of Lisbon. It was adequately clean. The staff we found were not very friendly and said they were too busy to give assistance when needing help checking in for our flight. When pressured they finally gave us some help. Breakfast buffet had a good assortment and the breakfast lady manager worked very hard while her 2 assistants were slow and un-engaging. She certainly needed more help. The dinner staff was extremely slow. It took a long time for them to acknowledge you were there even present though the restaurant area was practically empty. It then took them over a half hour to fix an omlette with fries.

The air conditioning wasn't working in either room on the same floor, so we had to traipse down to reception with all our luggage before they re-allocated us to two new rooms on a different floor. Switches in all four rooms we had the pleasure of visiting worked intermittently and in fact one of them was hanging off unsafely. The phone in the bathroom is a rather unique feature. To add to this rather dated and tired hotel located at what appears to be the edge of an industrial estate, we had to pay twice for our rooms. These rooms were booked in clerical error, as we needed them 3 weeks previously when we were actually in Lisbon. We booked them the night before and not 24 hours later arrived at the hotel to realise we had somehow unwittingly booked the wrong date!! We had booked non-refundable rooms as we needed them for the next day. The hotel were uncompromising and uncompassionate to the point of being insolent - there would be no refund - we would have to pay again. There was no management available - only junior members of staff. Expedia were no help in this matter.
