Amazing stay in Cascais
We had an amazing time with the family in this beautiful home in Cascais. The property is as clean and comfortable as advertised. Mauro is one of the best hosts, very friendly, knowledgeable and always there to help. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a very comfortable and memorable time in portugal.

Happy holidays for friends and family
We spent a lovely week in Cascais in August. Bruno was a welcoming and responsive host ensuring our stay was relaxed and stress free from arrival to departure. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor facilities - the covered kitchen area was a big hit as well as the pool and garden. Children had lots to occupy them between swimming/sunbathing and the games room - was sometimes hard to drag them out! There is lots of other communal space indoors as well, so overall the property is great for spending time together with a large group while also allowing adults and kids to have some separate space too. Kitchen is well appointed (hard to remember where to put everything!) The house is in a quiet neighborhood a bit removed from the centre of Cascais. While we walked to Praia do Guincho with teenagers, this would be a bit far for smaller children, so access to a car or using bus/taxis is needed. We enjoyed being able to return to peace and tranquility after busy days out. Would definitely recommend.

Large family house
The House was very spacious, plenty of room for everyone. The equipment in the house was plentiful. There is a beach 5 minutes drive away. The pool was excellent and fully heated by solar panels. The host was on hand for any queries or problems and was informative about the area.

Great house for a family get together!
We had 6 adult and 6 children (3-12) in the house for a week and it was perfect for our needs. It is bigger than it appears in pictures, the pool was wonderful, loved the games room, the air conditioners worked well, the house just worked. Mauro was very responsive while we were there and explained things well. He was willing to stop by if need be and was very flexible. Mauro also gave us some great recommendations for restaurants in the area. Bairao just down the road doesn’t look much from the outside but it’s charming inside and the food was wonderful!! I would suggest that Mauro have these printed out for guests. One other small suggestion. Although I appreciated the beer and coffee pods It would have been nice to have nice to have had a few more basics in the cabinets / fridge on arrival. I have stayed in other Vrbos where they have done that and I really appreciated it. Thanks again for the wonderful stay. I would recommend this house to anyone staying in the area.

Super holiday
It appealed to teenagers, young children and of course the adults. A great swimming pool and a very large games room kept everyone occupied. The house is very big and has a corner for everyone if that suits some. The cooking facilities both inside and outside were great. Mauro and his wife were very welcoming when we were checking in and throughout the week.It is also in a very good neighbourhood. Getting the whole family together in the one place made it a holiday to remember!

Cascais Family Celebration
Mauro and wife were very nice, engaging and accommodating to us. House and yard space were spacious and nicely appointed and they responded pleasantly to the few requests we made. For instance, we knew we would need a stroller for our 4 year old and Mauro promptly secured one for us for the week and it was waiting at the house for our use. Our 4 grandkids absolutely loved the pool and outside space. One suggestion that we felt we would have enjoyed , first of all, was a printed and laminated list of operating instructions for use of key items in the house. Secondly, we would have liked another list of helpful hints of area suggestions for restaurants, local places to drive to and see, modes of transportation, phone numbers, and timetables for trains or buses to Lisbon, day trips by car and any “ should see” sights we should see. We would highly recommend this house for anyone with a large family as we were 10 people and were all very comfortable there.

Perfect for families.
We had a great week's vacation with 3 families (6 adults and 7 children). The villa is spacious and very well equipped (outside BarBQ, crockery, glassware, cutlery, bedrooms for children ...). The swimming pool is heated. The house is very well located (close to beaches, golfs, sintra, lisbon) with several shops nearby. Mauro was a great host and gave us great tips for our stay (restaurants ...). Thank Mauro. We loved it and would return.

Schönes geräumiges Huas in sehr guter Lage
Wir waren mit zwei Familien in Cascais und haben in dem Haus ausreichend Platz gefunden. Die Angaben im Inserat stimmten perfekt mit allem, was wir gefunden haben überein. Der Pool war toll und die Kinder haben es genossen, darin zu spielen. Auch ansonsten haben wir alles gefunden, was wir brauchten. Vielleicht wäre ein zweiter Fön noch hilfreich gewesen, aber wir haben Mauro auch nicht danach gefragt. Ansonsten war Mauro sehr freundlichd und hilfsbereit. Seine Tipps haben uns sehr geholfen, z.B. Restaurant-Empfehlungen. Vielen Dank. WIr kommen wieder.

Accomoodation and owner
The house and what it offered was more than expected with lots of room for a larger party and excellent garden, pool and outside BarBQ and associated facility. Very well maintained with exceedingly well stocked crockery, glassware, cutlery and kitchen equipment. Wood thoroughly recommend to any larger group. Mauro was very helpful and called in to offer help and fixed the one minor appliance that needed some attention within a very short period of time. Family loved it and would return.

Great base for large family of all ages
We were a group of 13- 6 adults, 5 kids aged 11 to 3 and 2 Grandmas. The villa was perfect. We spent most of the time either in the pool, garden or outside dining area. House was pristine and very well equipped. Mauro and his wife were very helpful and accommodating. Hope to be back again soon!

Top Class house in great area
Mauro was excellent to deal with, very accommodating and flexible as we were a large group with different needs. The house is one of the best we have stayed in, everything is thought of from beach towels to stocked bar. The out door area and pool are top class, great for large groups. Would have no problems recommending Mauros villa, and we would definitely return if travelling back to the area.

A gem in Cascais!
We are just back from a wonderful 2 weeks in this property. We were a group of 6 adults and 7 children and this house had everything to suit young and older alike. The house is very well equipped, maintained and is spotlessly clean throughout. It is cool during the day and great air conditioning in the bedrooms for a comfortable night's sleep. The pool is large and heated. The garden and outdoor surrounds are amazing and beautifully kept. We enjoyed a few great BBQs and the owners have all the equipment to cook anything you want on this facility. We also made great use of the games room on the top floor and appreciated the many fridges located around the house! The house is in a perfect location - a short drive to gorgeous Cascais and a very manageable 30 minute drive to Lisbon . It is a short taxi hop to Sintra (I do not recommend driving) and is close to some wonderful beaches (Guincho is particularly stunning) and natural beauty spots. Only two very minor suggestions to improve - the beds could do with more pillows and for our number of people we could have done with an additional laundry drying stand or washing line for outdoors. But overall a wonderful stay and we would like to thank Mauro and his wife for their hospitality and responsiveness. We will be back someday!

Summer vacation 2019
We spent two weeks in Mauro’s house in Cascais this summer. We were a family with three small children aged from 1 to 3,5 year and seven adults. The owner supplied us with a baby chair and and baby bed which was very appreciated. The house was spacious and as shown on the photos. The pool was cleaned regularly during our stay. The garden was enclosed by a solid fence and gate so the children could play without concern. Everything was as expected an we had a great stay.The communication with the owner was easy and impeccable. The house is located in Birre which is 3 km from Cascais center, I would recommend to have a car to get around or at least bicycles. There are a few local restaurants close to the house that was very nice and authentic. A bus stop 100m away that takes you downtown. Taxi is also cheap an about 5 euro to get to the center. The location of the house is great for exploring Sintra and its a short trip from the amazing Guincho beach. In total we were very satisfied and would gladly return. I would recommend anybody to stay at Mauro’s house.

Lovely Accommodations

Fantastic week in the Casa dos Cedros
We enjoyed a fantastic week in the villa. Near to golfcourses, restaurant and shops and great spaces to have some quite moments in the garden and some nice dips in the heatet pool. Mauro and his wife are perfekt hosts and lade us feel real welcome. We also took the possibility to use the fantastic barbecue!

Amazing villa in a great location
A short taxi ride from central Cascais, this was a great location to be able to explore the region. The house was very clean and the garden was immaculately kept. The swimming pool was huge and had a fantastic outdoor area next to it with a very impressive brick barbecue. Mauro, the owner, even provided the charcoal for us! We really hope to return next year!

Lovely Large villa
We had a wonderful time in Mauro's villa. It had a great pool and large garden, a tree house for the kids to play in and he even provided us with inflatables fo the kids. The inside of the villa was large and cool for the extreme temperatures we encountered with all the amenities we could have wished for.

Impeccable house
This is a property where you don't feel fooled by the photos. The entire house is in flawless condition, not only the builing but also every single appliance. The swimming pool is big and you have fridges close to it and in the game room, so your cold beers are always close. We can't imagine a better place to stay in Cascais (it's midway between downtown and Guincho beach).

Outstanding!!!
A group of 9 friends from Canada and the UK (4 couples in their 60's and 1 woman aged 27), stayed at this property for one week in May 2018. We were welcomed by Mauro and Mariluci (the owners) on our arrival and shown extensively around the property. They had promptly answered all of our questions that we emailed to them prior to arrival. Their home is even nicer than the photos can show. It is immaculate and the location is convenient. It is a perfect property for families or couples. Our favourite place to gather and relax was in the outdoor areas after a wonderful day of sightseeing or enjoying sporting activities. The owners have provided everything you could possibly need for a great stay. Unfortunately, after a wonderful week, one woman in our group took ill on the way to the airport when leaving and needed to stay and be hospitalized in Cascais for several days. When Mauro heard this, even though we had already checked out, he immediately went to the hospital to offer help to the couple who needed to remain in Portugal. You will not find more genuine caring hosts. Thanks Mauro and Mariluci for making our holiday so special and for all of your kindness! We hope to return to Portugal and your beautiful home some day. Geweldig huis op een top locatie
Wij waren gedurende één week met 6 volwassen en 2 kinderen in dit huis. De locatie is net buiten het centrum en zodoende rustig. In de buurt van het beste strand aan de kust (Guincho) en op loopafstand van enkele restaurants en apotheek. Supermarkten en centrum op 5 minuten met auto. Het huis heeft een prachtig zwembad en een super tuin met voor de kids een speelhuisje. Een buitenkeuken met bbq, pizzaoven, afwasmachine, diepvries en koelkast. Het huis is zeer ruim, voldoende badkamers en ruime trappen. Het huis was super schoon en de bedden sliepen heerlijk. Een aanrader!!! We komen zeker nog een keer terug! Dank je voor een super vakantie!!

Simply the best house in the area!
My family and I rent a home every year and this house was the best! Everything you could possibly need or want was already there, from wine glasses to plates to cooking equipment, it was all there. The house is in beautiful condition, the beds are great (the pillows could be better) and the pool was an everyday treat. We look forward to another trip to Portugal and we will stay in this house again for sure. The owners are great people to deal with, made or time there perfect.

Amazing !!!!
The house si amazing, the swimming pool si huge, the garden really nice , clean . Se loved the outdoor kitchen with all amenities ( fridge, barbecue, freezer) you can enjoy all your meals outside. Toilets an shower outsider near the swimming pool are also usefull. The house ils clean , all rooms are bigs. Above that The owners are very nice . For sûre if i need to rent a house un Cascais, i will come back in this house

We loved this fantastic family villa
We spent 2 wonderful weeks in this spacious, well-equipped villa. We were a group of 6 adults and had ample room to lose ourselves in. The games room on the top floor, with table football and a snooker/pool table, provided an excellent play area for us, with bar and fridge. The pool is well maintained, clean, big enough and deep enough for exercise and to enjoy. The garden is beautiful, again well-maintained and made the perfect surrounding. Our favourite area was the outdoor kitchen. Mauro must love his barbecue cooking as it has everything you could possibly need to cook anything from steaks to a whole chicken, leg of lamb, sardines, etc. The villa is very clean and well-equipped. Bed linen and towels were provided and the villa was cleaned mid-stay. A gated property that felt safe and secure and like home. We thought it was just too far to walk back from Cascais after a night out but taxis were plentiful and cost around €6. We walked down to Guincho beach on a few occasions which took half an hour. While we were there we visited Lisbon, Sintra and the surrounding area, Pena Palace, played golf at some wonderful golf courses and one of our party, who is a keen cyclist, went out nearly every day on his bike (that he brought with him). My husband strutted around the villa as if he owned the place ... if only he did! ; ) We loved our stay and would thoroughly recommend this home from home. Our thanks to Mauro and his wife for being there if we needed them (but we didn't).

Très belle propriété
belle maison bien équipée de tous les services dont nous avions besoin. la maison située sur une route passante rendait la sortie de la propriété en voiture difficile. le bruit des voiture 24h sur 24 h nous a déplus route passante a fotre vitesse

Bonjour Jean-Jaques, Je suis très reconnaissant pour votre disponibilité pour commenter votre séjour dans notre villa à Cascais, étant donné que les commentaires des invités aident les prochains voyageurs à choisir. Cependant, dans son commentaire sur la rue, son assertion selon laquelle le bruit des voitures persiste de 24 à 24 heures ne correspond pas à la vérité, comme en témoigne le commentaire de la personne qui a utilisé la maison dans la semaine précédant vous et qui affirme que la nuit c'est calme. Sporadiquement, en été, quand il y a des festivals traditionnels à Areia, un village situé entre ma maison et la plage du Guincho, il y a des mouvements de voitures et de musique jusqu'à presque l'aube, ce qui cette année a coïncidé avec la semaine en question. Très belle maison très spacieuse
Très belle maison, très spacieuse avec une piscine magnifique. La cuisine d'extérieur est très pratique. Parfaite pour 12 personnes. Accueil très chaleureux de la part des propriétaires. Le seul petit bémol est sa situation géographique (rue bien circulante dans la journée). Calme le soir.

Wonderful villa. Lots of space for children. Excellent pool. Nice dining facilities.
Mauro was very helpful before and during our stay. The pool was enjoyed by everyone. The children in our group had lots of space to play. The location is perfect, less than 10 minutes from cascais. I would recommend this property to anyone and would love to return.

A very beautiful house with a beautiful garden
We are very pleased with our one week vacation at this fantastic mansion in Cascais! We were a family group og 12 people, four adult couple and four children (12, 9, 5 and 0 yrs). Everyone had a beautiful stay! Huge pool, flowely garden, and a big house with good rooms for everyone! We spent the days with walking to the town center, bicycling, trips to Lisbon and Sintra (very recommandable!), but most of the time we just relaxed on this beautiful 'Casa del Mauro' with all its facilities; we especially recommend the barbeque house with bar/kitchen facilities . Excelente acomodação, recomendo a todos.
Não há palavras suficientes para descrever a incrível estadia que nos foi proporcionada durante esta semana. A casa é simplesmente encantadora. O interior é espaçoso, a cozinha é muito bem equipada, os quartos são aconchegantes e ainda se pode desfrutar de uma ótima sala de jogos com entretenimento para crianças e adultos. O exterior é maravilhoso com um lindo e muito bem cuidado jardim, uma área para churrasqueira e uma grande piscina que infelizmente não tivemos a oportunidade de desfrutar devido a época do ano.  Os anfitriões dispensam comentários, super prestativos, educados e atenciosos com a nossa estadia. Obrigado Sr. Mauro, voltarei com certeza a alugar esta casa e recomendo a todos!

Incredible propery
The property is fantastic and the owners are great to deal with. 3 stories, with lots of space inside and outside the house. The pool, bbq area and game room are a great bonus! I look forward to returning to Cascais and will definitely seek to stay at this property again.

Grande maison avec tout le necessaire pour passer un agréable séjour. Les proprietaires sont arrangeants et très sympas. Supermarché à 5 min très pratique. Le jacuzzi a aussi été appréciable!
