Breakfast was cooked to order it was served hot and was so tasty, Claire&Olga looked after us very well, lovely ladies, Alison and the reception team made us very welcome and were very helpful, we will definitely be back! 'The rooms are very comfortable, interestingly decorated, and well equipped with plug outlets, etc. Only negative is that meal service ends at 8pm in the restaurant, and road traffic can be a bit loud (if you are sensitive).'

'Echt een super Engelse locatie. Prima ontbijten. Zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijke bediening. De kamers werden elke dag geruimd. De badkamer elke dag schone handdoeken. Handdoeken met een afmeting dat ik me schaamde om ze te gebruiken. Fantastisch mooie uitzichten vanaf het terras naar de zeer wijdde omgeving van Cheshire. Wij hadden er geen probleem mee, integendeel, maar het ligt op een afgelegen locatie. Een buitengewoon vriendelijke locatie. Echt Cheshire. Je moet echt met een auto komen.'

'The overall stay is good. I was in need of the charge point and the front office does not have a spare one. The chair in the room is not comfortable to sit and work. Breakfast is okey. The orange juice was so sweet seems like sugar mixed a lot. Not taste as orange juice. The coffees can be better. The menu in the dinner was good. It is better to have a small fridge in the room. '

'Simply superb, beautiful house lovely spacious rooms and an excellent cooked to order breakfast. Charming host and staff. Cannot be faulted and.....staggering distance from 2 pubs, one gastro - great food - the other a good local with decent ale (when you get them to pour it the proper way and not as Northern idiots want it, like keg).'

'We came to visit Chester and the Hotel Manager- didn’t catch his name sorry but he welcomed us with warmth and made our stay special, checking with us whether everything was alright with our stay, he had some veggie sausages especially made for us for breakfast, The place is very convenient if you are visiting Chester, short drive into the city. We did the City Walls as suggested by the Manager, which covered pretty much the city followed by beautiful scenery. '
