Easy and fast process, this property is very beautiful, a nice place to spend your vacation away from the crowded city. I stay here for a long weekend with family and friends, the amenities made everything comfortable, and the host, Dana, were easy to reach if we needed anything.

We loved the Log House!
We were so pleased when we arrived at the property. The photos do not do it justice. We were five adult family members of all ages traveling together and the accommodations were perfect. The twenty-somethings hopped in the hot tub while the older gals camped out in the comfortable and cozy living room with a bottle of wine or two. It was snowy and absolutely gorgeous outside. There is a master on the main and bedrooms up and down the stairs so everyone could have some privacy. Great kitchen and laundry room. When we walked out in the morning there were three wild turkeys under the deck and they ran around and put on a show! The property was very easy to get to and there was ample parking for a few cars. There is a Happy Bellies Bake Shop close by and they had the most delicious donuts and cinnamon rolls! We were so happy we got to stay at this house and we would book it again without hesitation.

Nice Place
Very nice place in a convenient location. Some repairs are needed but they a trivial. It's a rental property that takes a beating. It will never be perfect. I definitely would rent it out again. The property manger Car, was very prompt answering any questions or issues that we had. Awesome time was had by all even our two old dogs!

Log House
This was the perfect place for my friends and I base camp during our annual fishing trip. Very large and comfortable home perfect for several adults. Location is great to get access to east and west sides of the lake. We loved the fireplace and hot tub!

Beautiful home and location
Check in was smooth, and the home was clean and well set up. The yard and outdoor areas are amazing for a group to get together! We loved our stay for a long weekend for the Packers game. Ty so much for opening your home to us. I would highly recommend this location for a packers game as you’re 25 mins from the stadium.

Perfect girls weekend!
The house is nestled away at the end of the street and faces the river, making for a perfect spot to spend quality time with friends or family! Lots of outdoor space to hang out in, as well as two sizable living rooms inside. It was perfect for a girl’s get away weekend!

Relaxing cabin getaway!
The cabin was BEAUTIFUL! The inside was very roomy and decorated gorgeous. Multiple areas to relax around the property and listen to the wildlife all around. The hot tub was a great feature to relax in at night. We loved being able to take the paddle board, boat and kayaks on the river. The water wasn’t the cleanest so we did not get in the water but floating down the river was great. They had everything you would need at the cabin. Would recommend to a friend and family!

PERFECTION!!!
The Log House was absolutely beautiful and perfect for everything we needed! Perfect for a group of people, plenty of room, many things to do for all ages and the view is breathtaking and very relaxing! Dana answered all my questions and was very sweet and made sure we had everything we needed! Hands down the best place we have ever stayed and exactly what we were hoping for……and advertised!!! The Log House is a must!!!! You will NOT be disappointed!!!

Little Chute Log House
A beautiful log house in a beautiful setting on the Fox river. It a well furnished and well appointed rental. The owners are very responsive to questions and concerns. The one down side is it is obvious that the owners live there when not renting. They should clean out closet and shelf space in the bedrooms so renters have space for their clothes which there was none. They should also update the lower level bathroom with towel racks and a toilet paper roller which there were none. Overall, a great property.

Perfect Home Away From Home
The owners of this property are so very kind and want very much to assure your satisfaction and happiness with your stay. They are wonderful to work with! The property easily accommodated our extended family members - 10 in all. Everyone was in a bedroom which was really great. The location is second to none! Beautiful, private, water-front property. You couldn't ask for a more ideal spot to spend some down time with your loved ones. The kitchen was well appointed. We either cooked or brought home take-out each meal so that we could be comfortable at home rather than potentially being separated at different tables in a restaurant. It worked beautifully for our crew. I read other reviews commenting on the owners private belongings being in the closets etc. As long as you know that up front and are willing to work with it, it's not that big of a deal. If we stayed in hotel rooms we would have lived out of our suitcases, so it's not a big deal! This is a truly beautiful home and is so comfortable to be in. I would stay here again if we return to this area! It was exactly what we needed and we are thankful to have stayed there!

Happiness...Wonderful Stay!
We selected this wonderful log home and beautiful yard to host a small (17 person) wedding for my son and new daughter-in-law. Our family of 8, reuniting from around the country, stayed in the house and we hosted a small barbeque and the wedding and reception in the yard. Dana, the host was super accommodating. We put up a tent and wedding arch for a few days. -- and lots of games in the yard which we brought (badminton, spike ball, kubb) for the guests to play. All was fun, beautiful, and memorable. Dana is a gardener and the yard was very pretty with lots of flowers in bloom and many locations for beautiful photos. The house itself is very pretty, comfortable, and super clean. And Dana was very responsive if we had a question. It is well designed for both privacy and communal gatherings. We did not use the hot tub and the kayaks and paddle boat but were happy to know that they were available. We did love the wrap around deck -- and the many quiet places to read. The only note of caution is that at this time, the Fox River waterway that borders the property is only flooded for recreational use on weekends -- but if you are looking for other fitness opportunities there are lovely walking/running areas nearby...and you can always do yoga on the deck! Our family also enjoyed going to the Wisconsin Escape Room in the area -- lots of fun! All in all, a wonderful location for our wedding and reunion!

Amazing Family Vacation
We are a BIG family—my husband and I, our five kids (ages 16-32) and four grandchildren (ages 5-13). It was perfect. Enough bedrooms for everyone to have age-appropriate privacy and lots of outdoor space to enjoy the huge yard, water access, hammock, swings, grill, basketball court, foosball table, chess board, wraparound deck space—and HUGE kitchen to feed a small army. We had plenty of room to find our down time, talk and play together. A public pool, coffee shop, local restaurants and shopping are a five-minute drive. The cabin is impeccably decorated. Furniture, linens and kitchen supplies definitely feel like quality is a mainstay. It felt like home the minute we walked in. If you’re trying to get your people off screens, outside, and appreciate quality time spent—this is the place.

Lovely Log Cabin
The Log Cabin was a true log home both inside and out giving it the ambiance of a great vacation home. Lovely. The wraparound porch was wonderful and we enjoyed the additional seating space for our family of twelve. One area of concern was the limited space in the bedrooms both up and downstairs. They were very small and with the owner's personal clothing, etc. filling the closets, drawers, and furniture tops, it was necessary to live out of suitcases on the floor leaving little space to walk. There were no pictures of these rooms so we were somewhat surprised and crowded. The bunkbed room does not have an additional single as advertised and the downstairs rooms were very cold. Extra blankets were needed. But the house was very clean and the location is excellent for area tours, shopping, and the community pool. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and silverware . Can' t say enough good about Dana.She is a great host.

Relaxing Place to Stay
The place was clean, nicely decorated, well equipped, and easy to access. The owners were very nice and responded quickly to issues during our stay. We had hoped to use the kayaks and paddle boat, but the lock was full of algae when we were there. The kids also wanted to fish off the dock, but that wasn't really feasible either. There was a nice trail system through the parks and along the river right near the house that we walked and biked. It was very nice. We also enjoyed walking to the local coffee shop "Seth's" (2 thumbs up!) The down side was that there was no place for us to hang up any clothes or unpack any bags as the closets and drawers were full of the homeowners belongings. That was a little tough to deal with since we really couldn't unpack. The place is very nicely decorated but a television would have been nice in the first floor living area. The master bedroom was very comfortable, but without curtains we were up with the sun, and you can hear the action at the factory on the other side of the river throughout the night. We spent a day fishing in Green Bay, which was an easy drive from this house. Lake Winnebago is even closer. The owner was very attentive and available for any questions or issues. The washing machine didn't work when we were there, and when we reached out, she offered to take our stuff to the laundry mat. The home was comfortable.

Perfect Getaway for a Fun Girls Weekend!
This was the perfect place to stay for a group of girls wanting to get away for a weekend!! It is a BEAUTIFUL property with access to the water, a large yard, hot tub and wrap around porch! Everyone was very impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the home. Would highly recommend !

Great Stay in Little Chute
Our group of 6 friends had a great time at the Log Cabin. The hot tub, fire pit, wrap around deck, and huge lawn were all highlights for us. We were told in advance that the canal was not filled (due to construction) so unfortunately couldn't use the paddleboat/kayaks, but would love to in the future on a return trip. We had a great time and communication with the owner, Dana, was extremely prompt and informative.

Girls Getaway
We rented this cozy home for a weekend for a group who have been friends for over 20 years. It was perfect for laughs, great food and conversation. The bunks were a bit tough for our 40 year old bodies lol, but overall comfortable. The kitchen and home decorations were perfect and inviting! The response from the owners was five stars. We didn't spend much time outside as it was winter and cold, but it was set overlooking a river. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Thank you for your review even though it is much lower than I feel we deserve. We are glad you thought it was peaceful. As for the charge. Remember we told you there was a cigarette burn actually on the logs? We sent you a picture AND only changed you the amount it will cost to fix it ourselves. We felt $150.00 to sand and stain the log again was more than fair considering the stain itself was $80.00. We could have had someone else fix it and the cost would have been much more but we were trying to keep the cost down for you. Knowing it was an accident and other than the burn you left the house in good condition.

Great Wisconsin Getaway
We had 4 adults and 4 small children (4,4,18 mo, 6 mo) looking for an escape from city life and the house suited us perfectly. The house is tucked away in a quaint subdivision alongside the river. During non-pandemic times we would have taken more advantage of the proximity to the city center (15 minute walk); however we were happy just to be able to walk and grab coffee nearby every morning. The outdoors / landscaping were immaculate. Huge grass field for the kids to run around and play in, trampoline, basketball hoop, tree swings, hot tub, etc. We were warned in advance by the owners that the river had an unusual amount of algae for the season so we opted not to swim and instead made use of an inflatable pool / sprinkler. Had the river been clear, we would have made use of the stand up paddle board, canoe and paddle boat available. There was also a park with a playground nearby which was great for the kids. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. The only real con for the house was that it seemed like it was typically occupied by the owners - all the drawers, closets, etc. were full and didn't allow us much space to put our clothes / groceries. Other than that, everything was exactly as the listing and other reviews describe. We felt fortunate to have the opportunity to stay in this beautiful log cabin home for a weekend away.

Great 4th of July Stay!
We spent 3 days in this house, and enjoyed it! There were 6 adults and 4 kids. The space of the house is right for that amount of people but not more. After check in we discovered there were no closet space in the bedrooms, so all clothes were stored in the baggage on the floor. That’s was not comfortable. But everything else was great! The house is well maintained and cared. The backyard is huge, kids enjoyed different kindS of swings, Adults were enjoying the fireplace spot and acces to the river as well as beautiful view from the porch and hot tub. Great experience! Recommended !

Lovely home with beautiful flowers and landscaping!
We enjoyed a wonderful family get-away. The kids lived the swings and fishing from the dock. We hiked and went swimming at nearby High Cliff State Park. Another day was spent boating on Lake Winnebago which is only a short drive away. Good location with several choices of activities within a short driving distance.

Beautiful home and property
The house and yard were beautiful and so well kept. The hosts were great and very responsive. The house and yard itself were enough to keep us and our small kids (7 and 4) entertained. We fished, went on the swings, walked and biked the trail right outside the house, made lots of s’mores and took rides on the canoe, paddle boat and paddle board. The kids looked for toads and caught turtles. It was a wonderful escape from the city and perfect for us.
