'I had a lovely stay with Babs.She was welcoming and made me feel right at home.The house is spotless and very cosy .I must say the heating was on and so warm I didn’t need a duvet.Lovely treat.I didn’t need to have the breakfast as wanted to meet up for coffee and pastries with friends.But what was on offer looked generous.A well stocked fridge.The only thing was I prefer an en-suite,not so keen on sharing.But that was reflected in the price.Very reasonable.I would highly recommend.'

'The room was OK, but finding the hotel and finding the room within the hotel were both very difficult. They also asked for an additional card checking fee before check-in, though thankfully they waived this when we queried it. The remote check in made the start of the stay very stressful, but once we were in it was fine. There are some lovely period features in the property, but some of the paneling is actually wallpaper!'
