Multiple families stay and play
This property is perfect for multiple families, groups of friends, or extended families. There are places to hang out in small groups and the common areas are comfortable for everyone to be together. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to use. Lots to do inside (game room) and outside (pool, hot tub, lake).

Overall the stay was great. The only thing was the hot tube either was lacking chemicals in the tubes or something else going on because even with showering and following the rest of the protocols the water started looking green.

On our inspection of the hot tub, we found food and drinks that had spilled inside the tub. In addition, the chemical dispenser was laying on the ground. Hot Tubs can be quite enjoyable and relaxing, but they are not made for small children and eating in. We send out and post instructions on the hot tub for proper use to make sure the water quality stays perfect. All of our hot tubs are taken care of by professionals, and we have them dumped and refilled between each guest. Of course should a guest ever notice an issue we are just a phone call away, our team is ready in case of a problem.

Family Reunion Weekend
The property is immaculate and well maintained, and we had everything we needed. The lake view is gorgeous, and the property offers numerous recreational features, such as pool table, pingpong, cornhole, etc. We enjoyed the new pool and hot tub.

House exceeded our expectations
This house was more than we expected. We loved how the house allowed for our family all to be together, yet we can all do our own thing as well. We never left the property. There were tons to do. The owner was easy to get a hold of, if needed. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to entertain a group of people (of all ages). It had everything we needed. The weather was perfect, so we used the pool, kayaks, paddle boards etc. Can't think if anything its lacking!

51st Birthday
I did not celebrate my 50th due to covid, so I decided to celebrate this year at Lake Gaston. My family and I have spent the last 6 years going for our family vacation and we always get a different house. This was one of the best houses we have ever stayed in. The views were to die for. I can not say enough about this house. Thinking about renting it fir our family vacation next year!! Thanks to John for helping us out.

Excellent vacation home
Can't think of a more beautiful house on a beautiful warm water lake. There were 10 adults and 7 children under 10 years old. The family stayed in the lake all day into the evening. We ate all meals together in the air conditioned gazebo. The house came with paddle boards kayaks and a row boat. We had a boat spending many hours on the cove off the dock towing a tube. The house boasts endless sunrises from many large windows facing the water. Everything was clean and well kept. We cooked all meals. Grandma, Grandpa and a single uncle stayed in a beautiful, QUIET attached guest house. Thus rental is exceptional.

You cannot be disappointed!
This house was amazing. We had the best time. It was the cleanest dog-friendly property we have ever stayed in for sure. I have never used the comforter at a rental property until this house. Everything was clean and organized. We had kids as young as 5, teens, parents, grandparents and two dogs. Everyone had a blast. The water trampoline, so fun. The dock was our hangout spot during the day. The pontoon boat was a blast, not to mention kayaks, paddle boards. Firepit a great place to hang after dinner. The windows, decks, views. We never had a rainy day, but if we had the gazebo would have been amazing for that. We loved the ice maker, the guest house offering separation of space for the teens and grandpa. I would be happy to provide any information one might have about the house. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone on the fence. Never left to eat out, never watched a minute of tv. It was absolutely wonderful.

Amazing Place to gather family!
We had multiple families come together for a long weekend and this property was PERFECT! The people who aren’t used to the “large family” setting had plenty of places to escape for a few minutes to themselves and regroup. So many things to entertain all ages of children and adults. You will not regret choosing this beautiful home for your stay at Lake Gaston. From the moment you open the front door the views do not disappoint. We rented this home for a marriage retreat for our church. It was everything we needed with plenty of room. I was extremely impressed by the cleanliness of this home. Wonderful place!
Beautiful property! This home was amazing to stay at. We celebrated my mom's 60th birthday here. We all had so much fun! Ten of us stayed here totally and there was plenty of room for more. Definitely get the boat and do some fishing, (hint - go to the left of the dam, lots of bass!) Make sure to bring some spices if you cook. But the kitchen has all the other essentials you need for cooking, including a crockpot. Thank you so much for the amazing home to stay in!

Fun and Relaxation for ALL ages
We just spent a week at Endless Sunrise on Lake Gaston and an amazing time was had by all (17 of us, ages 14 to 80) John’s home is simply beautiful and allowed for everyone to be within earshot of each other or separated with quiet activities. The kitchen has tons of great cookware, casserole dishes, large cookie sheets, a knife block, great steak knives, serving utensils, dishes, glassware, a crockpot, Keurig, basket coffee maker, and a few colanders in different sizes. We were worried about the size of the kitchen but serving was a breeze buffet style as you can setup so big families can move in a circle and then eat at one of 3 huge tables. Eating outside on the deck was so relaxing. Showers had great water pressure at all times no matter how many were showering after swimming. The air conditioning was too good so we were able to turn the temperature up. We had 20-30 year olds in the guest house and teens in the bunk room. The gazebo (which we used as a game room) was simply terrific. We had family members watching The Olympics at 4am without disturbing anyone in the two homes. We had late nighters playing cards and fun drinking games until all hours with no noise heard outside that room. John also has Bluetooth speakers in the gazebo which the teens loved. The lake was beautiful and the kids enjoyed the trampoline in the water and the kayaks and paddle boards (all adult sized) and the 6 chaise lounge chairs. John’s pontoon boat is beautiful so if your reservation is a year out really consider it and get some experience. We waited too long to make that decision and regret it. We hope to return in the future. In the words of my 76 year old mom, “The home is superb and the owner really has thought of everything.”

Great Place for a Family Vacation
The house was amazing. Had everything we needed including the space for all to enjoy. The Gazeebo made our large family gather even easier with plenty of room for sit down meal together, Games for the kids and just a quiet place to relax. The Dock and waterfront was great with ample room for the kids to swim and fish and enjoy the large floating trampoline. The pontoon boat rental was a great deal and allowed us to truly enjoy all the lake had to offer.

Everything you could possibly need
We had an amazing time at this beautiful rental home..My family enjoyed the spacious accomodations and there was so much to do for all ages..The pontoon boat was a plus and besides the gameroom the Gazebo was a great addition for the kids to enjoy .We even had family game night in it and made such wonderful memories to enjoy for years to come..Would love to return again sometime

Relaxing weekend stay
We had 3 family groups together for a nice spring getaway. We cooked 2 big family meals and everything we needed was there to prepare and serve everyone. We rented the pontoon boat and had several fun tours of the lake. It was too cold to get in the water but the boat was a wonderful way to enjoy the water without getting in it!

Quiet Stay
The property was beautiful and the location was perfect. Since we visited in December, there were very few people. We even got to a couple of warm days to enjoy paddle boarding and fishing. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

The Perfect Retreat
We chose the Endless Sunrise Estate for our 5th annual women's retreat. We love staying at Lake Gaston but have had a hard time finding a rental property that really wows us and suits our needs. This is our 3rd home on the Lake and I think we all agree we've finally found THE one! Everything about it is beautiful...the home, the grounds, the views...and we felt such a calm and peace throughout. The deck is so comfortable and spacious making it perfect for outdoor eating. There's plenty of table space inside as well, though! We made use of the gazebo for a special dinner on Saturday night and Mr. Muuse was so kind to set up the table and chairs for us. He's an excellent host. The women enjoyed the boat deck on the Lake and the use of the kayaks. We just had a marvelous time together. God willing, we hope to return next year!!

positives - amazing view, good water, plenty of space in rooms, gazebo and separate guest house from main house were nice perks biggest downfall - layout of bathrooms - 2 of the 4 bathrooms in the main house were in the master bedroom (not accessible from hall) leaving only 2 for the remaining 4 main house bedrooms - these 2 bathrooms were then shared by 3 queen/king bed rooms and the room with 6 beds (bunk bed) made this part of the stay less than ideal

We appreciate your feedback. To clarify the main house has a total of 4 full bathrooms & laundry room and 5 bedrooms. The guest house has two full bathrooms with three bedrooms. In total there is 6 showers and 4 bathtubs. We are continually making improvements to the property and appreciate all feedback.

Incredible Expansive Views
Very nice expansive property. Several kayaks with life jackets for our use. Fantastic decking with plenty of seating for both the main and guest houses. Beds comfortable. Dining space appropriate for size of house. Bonus having 2 kitchens to make feeding our large group a bit less stressful. The size of the house and huge lake front yard made social distancing for our extended family much easier. Would definitely stay there again. Owner was very responsive before and during our stay. As an aside, we rented the owner's pontoon boat for the week and enjoyed evening boat rides to watch the sunset (even got up very early one morning to take the boat out to watch the sunrise!). Fantastic week to celebrate my husband's 80th birthday and our 40th wedding anniversary!

We enjoyed the week and were grateful we could fit our whole group in one house. However, parts of the house were old, rough and need work. Also, be sure to bring big bowls and big pots. The house supplies are a bit sparser than what we hoped for. Also, the guest house may need some better ventilation as it was quite musty. We embraced it though and enjoyed the nostalgic camp like feel.

We appreciate the feedback and we are always making improvements to the house and house supplies. There are two full sets of quality pots and pans in the house. We will add additional larger pots and large bowls thank you. We are quite surprised to see feedback about parts of the house being rough and would like to know specifically what areas you feel need improvement. The entire house was remodeled a year ago. We continue to make improvements every year and strive to keep the house in top shape. Thank you for staying!

Great stay...hope to be back!
Our extended family (kids & grandkids) just finished a 6-night stay and really loved it there. Very large property and 2 different houses, with our college-age kids enjoying being able to stay in the "guest house" away from the parents and grandkids. The house has pretty much everything you would have in your kitchen...but enough for 20 people. The main house has gone through a significant renovation recently making much of it feel brand new. Our grandkids loved the 6-bunk room/bedroom. Location on the lake is perfect, and we all had a great time on the large boat dock. We used pretty much all the extras that came with the home...kayaks, paddle boards, fire pit, corn hole boards, etc. We also rented the very large pontoon boat and had a great time with activities from pulling a boat tube to taking sunset cruises. Owner responded to text messages within a few minutes and is very easy to work with. When we come back to Lake Gaston this will definitely be the first place we look to stay.

Property is in excellent shape with plenty of room, both indoors and outdoors (and we did not even use the guest house at all). Kitchen well equipped. House well equipped. Amazing sunrises. Great location. But perhaps the very best thing is the owner’s attention to questions and very prompt responses. Checking out in about an hour and already trying to find time to come back here.

My sisters and I took our children for some time away at the lake. This property was ideal. The lake views were breathtaking and the family enjoyed time kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing. We had nightly time around the fire singing songs, telling stories, making smores, and laughing. The house was huge and our teenaged kids loved having the guest house as their own place to play cards and games in the evening. The main house was spacious and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for meal preparation. John was easy to work with and responded to all of our questions leading up to the trip and after our departure. We will definitely plan to visit this home or another one of his properties again!

Great week!
We had a wonderful Christmas week at this beautiful Lakehouse. Everything was just as described. The kitchen was well laid out, labeled, with enough utensils and dish wares. The beds were comfortable and it was nice having enough linens for everyone. There was space for everyone, which was great. It warmed up enough for us to take out the kayaks and appreciated having life jackets for the kids. The gazebo was great and we loved the extra space the guest house provided. The views of the lake are spectacular. We got up each morning to a beautiful view of the sunrise over the lake. Having so many windows looking out over the lake was amazing. John was great to work with. Answering questions in a timely manner and having provided many extras. He even had a beautiful Christmas tree in the living room. A perfect place for our family Christmas celebration.

What an amazing place!
I'm a frequent AirBnB and VRBO user and this place ranks at the top of the list! The easy part is the house is big, beautiful, and has views to die for, but the little things really make the impression: The labeling of cabinet and drawers (lots of them so it really helps), the guest house which really helps spread the visitors out, and the decks. Even in December, we spent a lot of time out there. Not only do I recommend it, we're planning on staying again soon.
