My friends and I had an excellent experience at the Livermore tiny house. Vrbo (which handled the booking details and communication) completely dropped the ball on sending updates and messages, but the hosts had provided their phone number and were prompt and helpful in answering text questions, such as the details of checking in and out.
The tiny house was exactly as pictured. There was a fully stocked kitchen, a surprisingly roomy bathroom (for a tiny house), two lofted beds, a sitting area with tv, a hot tub with a great view, a small outdoor "fire pit" (built into a table), and a bbq. Wifi was great. There were extra blankets and a heater. We were entirely comfortable, and charmed by the decor.
Finding the house wasn't too difficult in the dark, as there is a small sign pointing the way off the hosts' driveway. We were ~15 minutes from downtown Livermore. I think the external lights are on a timer and go on automatically after dark. We tried to turn them off but this doesn't seem like something a guest can control. Theoretically you can walk around the property but it seems like a working ranch set up and we weren't entirely sure the places we were allowed to go/not sure about moving around with potential cows in the area. In the morning we enjoyed watching rabbits and ground squirrels go about their business, there was a tree frog living between the house and the deck, and one night we heard coyotes yipping.
Overall an excellent stay, exactly as advertised.
