Hotel op de rand van het oude liverpool
Dicht bij de busstop (hop on & hop off) museums en shopping quarter. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Hotel heeft geen restaurant, een bar met wat comfortfood maar veel restaurants in de onmiddellijke nabijheid.

Property location was fantastic. within walking distance of tons of things. The hotel itself, was okay. Our toilet had flushing issues. Took about 3 flushes just to get toilet paper down. Some stains on the bed, walls. There also was no fridge in the room which would of been nice for our drinks The cabinet that holds the tea and coffee also would not keep closed. It would open randomly- we wedged the delta notepad between the two drawers to make sure it stayed closed.

Was emailed many times that Check In was at 3pm. I arrived at 3.30pm and was told to sit in the bar for 15mins because the room wasnt ready. Half an hour later i was told the room was ready but room was just half cleaned.

The checkin staff were excellent. In contrast the employees working in the restaurant for breakfast were very in-attentive. They offered us seats at tables that had not been cleaned and seemed to show no attention to their work. I felt they did not meet the Marriott hotel standard.

Conveniently located near the Lime Street station and close to shops and restaurants. The hotel is comfortable and the service was very good. Breakfast was also very good. Price for parking was on the steep side, in particular since the advertised rate applies only for parking on the building next door; if you wish to park in the hotel (in front of the building), there is an additional markup.

The room is clean, bed and pillows comfortable. Only 4 stars because the sink drained very slowly- you had to wait for it to drain after brushing your tea th so you could wash your face 😮😕 the shower controls were difficult to use. I could only get hot water, couldn’t regulate the temp, and the AC didn’t work. My husband sleeps warm so needs the AC. No refrigerator. There’s only an empty cabinet & wires where it should be. At these prices, this should be an excellent room. Unfortunately it was not

Hotel staff were lovely but I was disappointed the room didn't have a fridge in it and there were no drawers to put clothing in.Where am I meant to put my change of underwear and socks?

Underwhelming stay
Stayed 4 nights, Friday to Tuesday. Positives: Brilliant central location, very friendly at check in. Room though dated, was adequate. Good amenities. Negatives: 1) zero sound proofing of the room, any noise from the corridor can be heard clearly inside the room, including the lift which was quite far away (as all fire doors wedged open at all times). Worse was noise from the hotel bar/club on Saturday night. We had requested a "quiet" room, and thought we were given one since our room was facing the back. However, it actually overlooks the hotel bar, and music was blaring until the small hours. Then we can hear the guests returning to their rooms, so it was way pass 2am before we got to sleep! 2) The shower was dangerous in that it starts off burning hot, and you have to keep turning the lever to get cooler water. No warning or instructions whatsoever on this. Even when you achieved the right temperature, the water temperature still fluctuates to too hot several times during a shower!
