'Wonderful stay at Pale Hall Hotel. Beautiful and comfortable room. Warm and welcoming staff. Excellent dining options - a tasting menu / fine dining or a bar menu. Both served in a beautiful dining room. We had the bar menu and it was wonderfully cooked.
Morning breakfast was perfect and a small gift of water and cookies for our journey much appreciated. We would highly recommend this hotel. '
'I arrived from London on the motorcycle and had a warm welcome with a lovely comfortable bed and a very good bathroom with a top class shower. Sadly I arrived too late for their delicious menu as the kitchen closes early on Sunday. But I will be back very soon as I have moved near Chester and Bala is only miles away. Highly recommended. 'What a fabulous place and amazing owners. Nigel and Clare are just lovely people. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
The alpacas, ducks and hens make it a really interesting place to stay as well.
Much easier travel into Betws, Conwy and Snowden from this side as well.'
'We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening.
