Deze comfortabele, traditioneel ingerichte boerderij ligt op ruim 3 km van de zandstranden van Llangrannog, aan de schoonste kust van Groot-Brittannië, in zijn eigen tuinen, omringd door ongerepte weilanden. Llangrannog biedt een kleine trailerhelling, een dorpswinkel, cafés en een café / restaurant, samen met een droge skipiste, terwijl het populaire havenstadje New Quay zeil- en vistochten maakt. Het marktstadje Cardigan heeft een binnenzwembad, een sportcentrum, een skateboardpark, kunstgalerijen en een theater / bioscoopcomplex. Er zijn twee kustgolfbanen in de buurt. The Crown Inn (2 mijl) is een bekende traditionele pub met goed eten en de havenmeester in Aberaeron (16 km) biedt bekroonde gerechten. Dorpswinkel 1 mijl.

We had a great weekend at Rwgan.

We had a great weekend at Rwgan. It's an excellent cottage for groups, because there are four single beds and a double, so five of us fit in very well. The hot tub was amazing in the freezing cold weather, and we enjoyed the woodburner, the books and games. The location with easy access to the coast path was great for walking, and we discovered the mobile sauna in the car park at Llangrannog, which was a fantastic experience. There were a few niggles (the shower was a bit feeble) but the overall experience was really positive.

Great week away

We were at Rwgan in a family group and I know the area well so I found it glorious. Position of the house was great and we had lots of space and a good garden for grandchildren to play in. The house itself needs a fair bit of maintenance. The hot tub was first class but in the very warm weather we couldn’t sit and eat outside as the garden furniture was so old and rickety with only 3 chairs to sit on. The fridge door is broken and needs replacing. Several things need a screwdriver. Windows don’t open, shower doesn’t empty. My husband went down the drive pruning branches so that car was not constantly scratched. So it’s a lovely house needing some TLC

A wonderfully relaxing stay during these tough covid times. It was just what the Dr ordered. The House was surprisingly large with all that we could want there. Our children loved the attic space and the piano in the dining room. More than enough boardgames and books to occupy the children and us young adults. Short drives to LLangrannog and Cwmtydu allowed us to breathe the fresh West Walian costal air. The hotub was a lovely addition and a lovely spot to relax. The only downside was that there was no outside light to brighten the tub area. We as a family loved the experience of sitting under the stars relaxing in the warmth. Rwgan is a very comfortable old property with loads of space.

Rwgan is a very comfortable old property with loads of space. It has everything you need. It was lovely to wake up to just the sound of birds singing and no street lights. Just one point - the main gate has a gap at the bottom which would allow very small dogs to get through. It is well situated close to the coast with some lovely dog friendly beaches. We recommend Penbryn.

What a wonderful break at Rwgan.

What a wonderful break at Rwgan. It is such a beautiful house, in such beautiful surroundings, and perfect for a break away from everything in a wonderful area of Wales. We really didn't want to leave, we loved the house so much and it was so comfy. The hot tub was a great surprise. Our little girl loved it too, especially the baby bunny eating every morning on the back lawn! We will be back again.

This is our fourth time at Rwgan, we love this old house and the area, close to many beaches and good eating places. A great surprise this time was a newly laid patio with a lovely hot tub sat on it, we made great use of it and our grandson Noah said it was his favourite thing of the holiday. There were quite a few new things in the house this year including a large tv, new cooker and a wood burning stove, loads of books and dvd’s. We are considering moving to the area when I retire next year we love it so much. And with a large enclosed garden and all the beaches the dogs love it too, roll on next year!
