'The pictures I think were taken a while ago ...yes this is an old property but it desperately needs a makeover soon. It could be described as "cosy" due to the constantly running Rayburn in the kitchen, but that is accompanied by the slight smell of heating oil as well. There is plaster flaking off the walls and cobwebs and dust everywhere and the sofas in the sitting room have very definitely had their day. 'We absolutely loved our stay here, the cottage is old and many would say requires modernisation but we felt it all added to its character and charm. The beds were comfy as were the sofas and the kitchen was fully supplied with everything you could need. The grounds were fantastic and we had many games of football, rounders and hide and seek with a group of 4 children under 10. 'We enjoyed our stay at Rose Cottage. There were some initial issues which were resolved by the owner very promptly. The information from Oyster Cottages describes a Superking size bed in the main room, It is a very comfy bed in a lovely room but it is only a Kingsized. The two singles in the 2nd bedroom downstairs can be converted to a Superking size though. 'Cosy cottage - perfect for two and a dog. The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. 'The cottage was lovely and cosy. Spotlessly clean and the hot tub was ideal. It was ideal for the dog with a secure enclosed outside area to let it out into. Lovely walks from the front door, especially 10 minutes to beach and then 7 mile walk to Pwllheli.'
