'While the hotel itself is fine we reached out before through the expedia platform when we made the booking requesting a late checkout. Someone messaged us and asked what time are we looking to checkout and we said 12pm if possible. They then told us that is their standard checkout time. When we got there the guy at the front desk insisted otherwise and said that we didn't speak to the hotel we spoke to someone through expedia. 'The room was very nice and staff were very friendly and helpful. Wonderful location. My only complaint is while the towels were large enough and very soft they did not absorb water very well. The was a very nice coffee shop in the hotel. The building is historical and they are still working on some of the details so anticipate things getting even better'

'I stayed here because I was going to a concert at Proctors Theatre and this hotel was only a short 8 minute walk to the theater. I was pleasantly surprised by the room for an inexpensive hotel. The room was very clean and well maintained. The bed was reasonably comfortable the towels were fairly new and soft. The downside? 'The room had dirty towels in the bathroom when I asked for clean towels those were stained yellow they wasn't white at all. No elevator and the halls smelled like old cigarettes and old carpet.I waited until I got home to shower. Breakfast was coffee plain bagels and a blueberry muffin I passed I woke up super early to get out of there'
