Log Cabin at Jordan Lake | Sauna + Outdoor Shower

30 miles from downtown Raleigh! Enjoy this beautifully, well maintained log cabin that rests just outside Jordan Lake. Full of history and rich with character, this cabin was built in the 1750's and is believed to have belonged to a community in which one of Abraham Lincoln's family members is believed to have resided. Since then, this cabin has been moved and meticulously cared for and brought back to life. Pet friendly!

This two story log cabin comes equipped with modern appliances and has a California king sized bed on the second floor of the cabin. Full bathroom with indoor shower and hot water. Plenty of living and dining space for two. You can either enjoy the outdoor private sauna, outdoor shower or fire pit for you and your guest. Extremely clean and practicing extra efforts and precautions when disinfecting between stays.

Neighborhood description
Very close by are Pittsboro, Chapel Hill, Sanford, Apex & Raleigh. Plenty of restaurants, pubs and grocery stores. The cabin sits on a lot adjacent to another airbnb house - "Guest House at Jordan Lake! Fenced Yard." Reserving both properties is great for bigger groups who want to be near each other. Family Reunions etc.

We are in the country, across the street from Jordan Lake with miles of hiking trails. Also close to the American Tobacco Trail which stays busy with walkers, runners & bike riders.

Firewood can be requested. $20 for a bundle of wood to be delivered to the property.
Additional Rules & Fees
• Obey all local laws, codes and ordinances - $1,000 fine for any citation.
• No Parties - $500 fine.
• No smoking/vaping/candles/incense INDOORS - $500 fine. Smoking only allowed outdoors with windows closed and cigarette butts disposed of only in outdoor trash. If smoke or cigarette smell is not dispersed after the house is cleaned you will incur a $200 fine.
Check-out is at 11am ET and Check-In is at 4pm ET. $50 late checkout and $50 early check-in fee if available, non-negotiable before 1pm. After 1pm, guests will pay that night's base rate due to inability for future guests to book the same day.
Max number of people on property - 2 people. Every unauthorized guest on our property beyond our max occupancy of 2 people will result in a fee of $50 per unauthorized guest.
Pets are welcome but we do require guests to disclose that they are bringing a pet since when the pet is listed as a “guest” it adds our standard $150 pet fee. This fee covers extra cleaning services required to restore the home to rentable condition. Not disclosing your pet will incur a $300 fee due to the inconvenience of disrupting cleaning service preparations and operations.
• Quiet hours: 10PM-8AM.
• No spray tanning/henna application/hair dyeing.
• Please wash your dishes.
Guests should use the small makeup remover wipes provided to remove makeup/ foundations, creams, or any other products that might stain. Unsalvageable linens/bath towels will be charged to the guest (towel $20, sheet $25)
• Lock home when leaving.
• Trash is alongside the house! Trash pickup is early Mondays, if you stay Sunday night please take containers to road Sunday evening and return to side of home Monday afternoon If guests are found in the unfortunate event of disruptions alerting neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.
• If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.
• Lastly, because this is an Airbnb community not a hotel, please be respectful of the property and keep it clean before you leave.
