  • The Overlook at Harvest Moon Cottages bevindt zich bovenop een heuvel en voelt als een boomhut, terwijl u geniet van een vogelperspectief op het omliggende hemlockbos. Stap door de Franse deuren en geniet van de grote kamer met plafondplafond met een volledig uitgeruste keuken met roestvrijstalen apparaten en een keramische kookplaat, een grote eettafel plus extra bar en 'pub'-tafel en natuurlijk comfortabele lederen banken voor uw gashaard en tv (geniet van DirectTv en dvd's, of luister naar uw muziekkeuze via surround sound-luidsprekers). Geniet van beperkte wifi ... perfect om contact te houden met werk of sociale netwerken, niet sterk genoeg voor Netflix ... maar hey, je bent hier toch niet voor tv ...

    The Overlook beschikt over drie privé-slaapkamers; een koning (bovenste niveau), een koningin en een met een koningin en een tweeling (beide lagere niveau). Alle beddengoed zijn inbegrepen. Twee volledige badkamers zijn gevuld met zachte handdoeken, haardrogers, kleine badzepen en zachte zeep. De badkamer beneden is voorzien van een gestapelde kleding wasmachine / droger combo voor uw gemak. De familiekamer op het lagere niveau beschikt over een speeltafel en stoelen, tafelvoetbal en een extra tv voor films of games. Buiten geniet u van uw omhullend terras in de boomtoppen terwijl u grilt op de Weber-gasgrill of geniet van de overdekte hot tub. Smores, iemand ??? Je hebt een vuurplaats omringd door adirondack stoelen ook. Gasten die in het lager gelegen niveau verblijven, kunnen genieten van buiten uitglijden voor rustige momenten, dieren in het wild bekijken of een slaapmutsje op hun eigen terras.

A wonderfully relaxing stay at the Overlook cottage

Overlook is a spacious cabin in a private setting. The cabin is immaculate, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The hot tub is wonderful after a day of hiking. It is our favorite cabin in Hocking Hills!

The cabins feel secluded, they are well appointed and very clean!

We had a movie shoot at this place it was fantastic. The host was very kind and understanding.

It was nice, spacious and secluded so we were able to have a crew of 10 people, shoot the movie and comfortably sleep at night. We used the hot tub after a long they of shooting to release some stress. It was a very nice cabin everything was comfortable and to our liking.

Family/Friends 1st trip to Hocking Hills

Picture's don't do justice...This place is beautiful with a lot to see and do. This group is not big into hiking so a 3 day trip was more than perfect for us. Very nice cottage lots of room ,very peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend this place.

Wonderful Stay

Our first time to Hocking Hills. We were close to everything while still feeling secluded. We loved Lake Logan. The cabin was wonderful. We definitely will be back!

The rooms were spotless, the kitchen was well stocked,however, you should supply sweet n low for those who don't drink sugar. My husband, son, daughter-in-law, and grandson enjoyed the hot tub. I loved the quiet. All in all, my family enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Hocking Hills

The location of the cabin is great. Secluded with woods all around. Cabin itself was cozy. Fireplace was a nice plus. Hot tub setup was good. Beds were comfortable but not updated. Appliances generally worked, but most of them could use an update.

Restful weekend

We have stayed at the overlook many times because we know exactly what we are getting. Restful accommodations and privacy. My only suggestion is that the dishwasher should probably be replaced. Dishes were coming out with stuff on them from previous guest and even when we ran it. Also it looks like there are some serious stains in there. I'm not sure that it's really cleaning them. Otherwise, loved our accommodations.

Great Hocking Hills getaway

We wanted something on the edge of Appalachia that would both be deep in the woods and also have the comforts of home. We spent a lot of time downstairs lounging as a family. Our only complaints were that the upstairs TV was not registered (and so we couldn't sign into any apps) and the internet was a touch slower than we'd like (20mb/s). I had to work some days from here, and between everyone else using it and video calls it struggled. Not sure how much can be done about, but we got by. If you're looking for a comfy, CLEAN, well kept escape, choose this place!

This cabin was perfect for our family (2 adults, 2 teenagers, and 1 elementary age child). Great log cabin-style ambiance. The lower level was perfect for our kids with the separate TV area, video games, bedrooms, and separate bathroom. Everyone really enjoyed the hot tub. The property was beautiful and secluded. Easy access to all the local Hocking Hills sites. Great communication with property managers!

My experience

The property is in a great location, although not clearly identified from the road (just the number). Not as clean as it could have been for the price I paid. The hot tub only had half of the jets working (I notified the manager). There are no lights on the hot tub deck and it was hard to see the buttons without a flashlight. We killed multiple large spiders, crickets, and other unknown bugs in the house. Granted, it is located in the woods but still should not have been that many bugs in a 3 day weekend (just my opinion). A thorough cleaning and spraying might eliminate that problem. We could not use the downstairs shower due to all the water that leaked on the floor after the first shower. Everyone showered in the first floor bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked, especially if you plan to cook.

Perfect cabin

This cabin is great for a family with teenagers. Lots of hiking around cabin & separate basement area for sleeping & showering. Amazed at "full" kitchen set up. Did not expect ice cube trays & multiple baking pans. Hot tub is a bonus after hiking at state parks.

Nice cottage in the woods.

Cottage is just as described in listing. Everything was clean and comfortable. The hot tub water was murky so we didn’t use it. We enjoyed our stay and closeness to all the Hocking Hills trails.

Sister weekend at Harvest Moon Cottages

Myself and 4 of my sisters had a sister's get away relaxing weekend in Hocking Hills area. This cabin was perfect for us. The kitchen was well stocked with needs for any cooking we did. Close to places we wanted to go and hike. We all felt the Cabin was clean and beds were good. Hot tub worked well, and seemed clean. We also enjoyed getting in a few games of foosball! We did notice several inch worms in the basement area... which we took care of, but otherwise great place !

Great getaway!

Wonderful property, close to Ash Caves and Cedar Falls. Quiet, enough to do even when raining for energetic kids! The set up of the house is wonderful for anyone with kids who may need to unwind and play games.
