Hemlock | Hocking Hills

Dit blokhut-chalet heeft een bubbelbad in de openlucht en een chique binnen-sauna. Het ligt op een met gras begroeide open plek omgeven door bossen. Slaapkamer op de begane grond heeft een queensize bed, slaapkamer beneden heeft twee queensize bedden. Volledige baden, boven en beneden. Volledige keuken (roestvrijstalen koelkast, groot formaat, magnetron, koffiezetapparaat en broodrooster) met een eettafel voor vier personen. Gewelfd plafond met dakramen maakt de gezellige ruimte helder. Deur naar de overdekte veranda komt direct naast de hot tub uit - ideaal in de wintermaanden. Houten vloeren, veranda schommel, gas open haard (seizoensgebonden); satelliet-tv, dvd-speler en wifi. Huisdiervriendelijk.

INBEGREPEN Alle Chalets zijn inclusief: een schilderachtige omgeving; buiten hot tub; openhaard en grill; keuken met kookplaat, magnetron, koffiezetapparaat, kookgerei en servies; satelliet-tv met dvd-speler; bed-, bad- en keukenlinnen met Bath & Body Works-zeep en afwasmiddel; toiletpapier; toegang tot de gastenpool; centrale airconditioning en warmte. SITE Hemlock - Hocking Hills ligt langs State Route 664, op de 140-acre campus van de Chalets - net op de heuvel van het zwembad (open Memorial Day tot Labor Day) en de receptie van Chalets. Het dichtstbijzijnde staatspark is Old Man's Cave, op 3 km of 5 minuten rijden.

Great cabin

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Hemlock cabin. The cabin was clean when we arrived and met all of our needs. The location was close to Old Man’s Cave. The staff I spoke to were very friendly and answered all of my questions. Will definitely stay again.

Great Quick Getaway

The cabin is nicely secluded for a company that has several offerings onsite. The amenities and cleanliness definitely stood out. The infrared sauna was a really neat experience. The hot tube was very clean, hot, and with good jet pressure. No issues at all returning to this one!

Comfortable cabin near trails

Two night stay with 4 adults, 6yr old, 3 yr old & 2 dogs. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. And the spacious lower level was good for the littles and parents to separate from dogs and other adults. Location was secluded enough for dogs to be able to play in yard although it is all on a hill. Parking is not what you’d expect but works well. Only complaint is that we were not made aware of the burn ban until the night before we arrived. Kids were looking forward to camp fires and smores and although we were told they’d turn fireplace on, we clouldnt get it to work. AC works well and actually pretty cold in lower level. Sauna is a nice perk!

Overnight getaway with friends.

Everything was very nice! Very comfortable and relaxing! We enjoyed a little time in the hot tub last night. We went out for dinner so we didn’t cook while we were there. Only suggestion I would make is there are no outlets near the bed. Couldn’t use our Cpap machines as no place to plug them in. Otherwise I would highly recommend this for a small family or two couples.

Weekday getaway

We loved the chalet; the location, the hot tub, the pool, the covered deck, etc. the beds were comfortable , there were plenty of towels in bathroom and kitchen and the swinging chair was nice. The only minor things that happened included the keyed entry broke but was promptly replaced. Same thing happened to the coffee maker, but again replaced immediately. One thing that still needs to be addressed, which we only mentioned when we left was that the sink stopper wouldn’t stay up so we have to prop it with something so the sink would drain. This should be an easy fix snd based on the quick service we got during our stay, I’m sure it was taken care of. We would stay here again.

Close to trails and super clean

Went for a weekend trip to hike. Location is great if that's what you're going for. Area is super nice. The area is like a little subdivision with actual people at the office up front. We felt super safe and had an amazing time. The upstairs bathroom was a little tight but the downstairs bathroom made up for that. Great trip!

A nice getaway!

Dangerous and uncaring

The stay was good. The place was in a nice location. However maintenance was poor. We were told maintenance would regularly check the hot tub. That did not happen. When we stated it needed to be addressed we were told no one was available. Also to get to the fire pit is a hazard as it is stone and downhill. However the worst was as we packed up. As my husband took items to our car to pack up. The top step broke from under him and he fell pretty hard. He was banged up pretty good and now has bruises and swelling throughout his legs. When we checked out and told the staff, there was no reaction. They said they would get maintenance over to fix it. Didn’t ask how he was or if they could do anything. No apology. I mentioned that our grandson had been with us and if this had happened while he was here he could have been seriously hurt. Then someone finally asked if he was ok but in a monotone voice. I own a business and if someone had fallen I would be concerned for them, jumping to see what I could do to help them. Very disappointing!
