'The staff were less than helpful, There was no car parking anywhere near the hotel. It was student accommodation and not suitable for mature aged travellers. We chose not to stay here and found another motel.'

'Mariza and Barry have set up a comfortable home away from home for their guests. We were greeted with fresh flowers, yummy homemade bakes and general comfort. This Cottage is well appointed while still being appropriate for children to stay. Mariza was easy to communicate with and even brought her dogs by to meet us on our last morning. We visited Blarney Castle which was fabulous! Explored Cork a bit and visited Bunratty Castle. I highly recommend both castles as all day experiences. Thank you...

'This is a beautiful property in an amazing location. We were 8 adults and 7 children aged 2-14 and everyone loved it. The grounds are beautiful to take a walk. "Prachtig hotel, ontvangst kon wat vriendelijker, hele mooie ruime kamer, van alle gemakken voorzien. Eten kon in de naastgelegen ruimte, wat meer een personeelskantine leek dan een sfeervol restaurant, ontbijt vond plaats in een afgescheiden hoek van datzelfde restaurant. Omgeving naast de winkel en kasteel wel erg toeristisch "

Improve on maintenance and restaurant

"Spacious room with 2 double beds. A number of small neglections in the maintenance. Good breakfast at addition 15€. Poor selection a quality at the restaurant. Nice location relatively close to restaurants and highway. If they would spend more time on fixing things this could be again the high profile place it once was. Now it is just ok"

"We stayed in the self-catering Stable Lodge, which is for 4 persons. The main house is very nice, but the lodge was disappointing. It smelled of paint very intensively, however, it also felt that some maintenance was needed. The kitchen was dirty, so much so that I didn't feel it was safe to cook there. There is only one sleeping room, with a double bed and a bunk bed which partially blocks the entrance to the bathroom. The farm itself was nice, and the kids enjoyed playing pool in the common area."
