We had a nice room with Southern exposure. Although there is considerable next-door, we didn’t hear any noise. The air conditioning in the room is very good.
We paid for a king size bed, but by North American standards, it’s really a queen size bed. Still, it was very comfortable with good quality linens, and pillows.
The staff at the check-in desk were friendly and helpful. They provided maps of the area as well as London.
There is no safe in the room, although you can ask the front desk to store your valuables in the hotel safe. Nor is there a microwave oven or bar fridge. The room does not have a telephone but it does have a folder of tourist information.
The hotel says that there is no smoking in the hotel. However, there is an ashtray on the balcony. Anybody smoking on the balcony would easily bring odours of cigarettes back into the apartment and onto the furniture and bed. Our room did smell very clean
There are two Tesco Express stores nearby. A 15 minute walk towards the underground stating will take you to the Sainsbury supermarket.
The hotel serves a breakfast buffet, but no other meals. Very good Wi-Fi. There are three great channels on TV that play music videos of the 60s, 70s and 80s.
You can also access the hotel from the London underground by taking the black (Northern) line to South Wimbledon station. There is closer access than the Wimbledon station, the last stop on the green line.
We would be very happy to stay at this hotel again.
