Redelijk goed hotel. Echter een grote en lawaaierige ventilatieafvoer liet zich nogal horen. Om 22.00 uur stopte deze wel. Fijn personeel. Op de vraag om een andere kamer werd meteen goed gereageerd.

Goed hotel, personeel schiet tekort, maar de kamers zijn groot genoeg, schoon en goed te doen. Jammer dat ze zonder toestemming je kamer schoonmaken dus laat nooit iets open en bloot liggen

Geen bijzonder hotel op korte afstand trein Londen
Geen bijzonder hotel op korte loopafstand van treinstation East Croyden met directe verbinding naar harte London (Victoria Station). In nabijheid ontbijtfaciliteit. Hiervoor worden vouchers (korting) verstrekt. Overigens niet op zondag. Hotel kent geen parkeerfaciliteit. Parkeren mogelijk op loopafstand, 5 minuten openbare parkeergarage. Blijft wel lastig bij in- en uitchecken. Er wordt korting op het parkeertarief. Blijft ondanks dit toch prijzig, ruim € 12,- per etmaal. Hotel en ook kamer maken gedateerde indruk. Hierdoor ontbreekt einge uitstraling geldt ook voor personeel (receptiemedewerkers). Kamers zijn rumoerig

Goed gelegen hotel
Een goed zakenhotel, gelegen in de buurt van twee treinstations een op 5 min (East-Croydon) en een op 10 min (West-Croydon) loopafstand. Afhankelijk van waar je moet zijn ben je in zo'n 15-30 min in Londen. Achter het hotel liggen twee winkelcentra (Whitgift & Centrale) en een winkelstraat. De wifi was goed en het restaurant dat bij het hotel hoort had lekker italiaans eten dat niet overdreven duur was. Wat ik minder vond was de badkuip die een beetje hoog ligt en glad is, heb liever een douche in een hotel. De lift is een beetje klein, maar werkt wel. Het is niet een heel mooi hotel de gangen zijn smal en saai maar ik ga dan ook niet naar Croydon voor een mooi hotel. Er is een waterkoker, thee, koffie, warme chocoladmelk en koekjes aanwezig, deze worden bij de schoonmaak van de kamers aangevuld.

Good transport to london
It was halfway between the AirPort and city center. The trainstation was only five minutes away. The Spa is shared with the next door gym and kinda uncomfortable however the facilities are good. Supermarket acros the street and since we spent mos tour time in london it was an great hotel.

Niet in het centrum
Bij het boeken stond dat er een zwembad en sauna was en dat het in het centrum lag. Ten eerste lag het hotel in het centrum van croydon maar naar London zelf is het nog een half uur reizen. Ten tweede was het zwembad niet beschikbaar. Terwijl wij daarvoor het hotel geboekt hadden. Ze hadden ook geen vervanging of een vergoeding er voor.

Ideaal voor bezoek aan London
Ik heb hier één nacht overnacht voor een korte weekendtrip met mijn dochter. Ideaal als je niet de hoofdprijs wilt betalen die in de stad gevraagd wordt. Ligt pal aan de Southern lijn. Binnen 5 minuten zit je op het station, de rit naar London Victoria is slechts 15 min. London Gatwick ook zoiets. Geen kopie omgeving dus puur voor overnachting leuk. Hotel is keurig en alles redelijk nieuw en vooral belangrijk: schoon! Waterkoker op de kamer met koffie en thee. Ontbijt is niet geweldig dus hebben wij in de stad genomen. We hadden wel wat last van de afzuigers van de keuken onder ons raam. Maar daar was de prijs dan misschien ook lager door.

hotel is goed.kamer ruim en schoon.treinstation in de buurt je bent binnen half uurtje op de plek die je wilt bezoeken. buurt is prima je kunt er goedkoop eten. supermarkt ook dichtbij. kortom ik zou er zo weer heengaan.

Leuk hotel met makkelijk toegang tot het centrum
We kwamen aan bij het hotel en van buitenaf lijkt het niet zo mooi maar van binnen ziet het er veel beter uit. Heel netjes en ook vriendelijk personeel. De kamer was netjes en opgeruimd. Vanuit het hotel is het treinstation een paar minuten lopen en met de trein ben je binnen 15 minuten en lage kosten in het centrum van Londen. Het healthcenter naast het hotel heeft een binnenzwembad dat voor hotelgasten gratis toegankelijk is en het is heel fijn om na een lange dag in het centrum van Londen daar even uit te rusten.

Horrendous experience
This was the worst experience of a hotel booking it is possible to imagine. When I arrived at the hotel it was in a disgraceful state with rubbish everywhere. It soon became clear that this was no longer a hotel but a shelter for the homeless. The only person available to speak to was a security guard who gave me the number of the owners, who are based in India. They didn't even know that they owned the hotel, far less whether it was open or not. I had to book into another hotel, obviously. Getting a refund was almost impossible and this website was completely useless. They have no presence in the UK and communication is through very poor call centres. I asked for compensation for the inconvenience and expense I had suffered but was offered nothing. If you are a traveller in difficulty this website will offer you nothing and I will never run the (high) risk of using it again.

Overall a good stay
We had a good stay, the room was clean. Unfortunately our atay was during the covid- 19 lickdown so we had no access to the pool, gym or restutant so I can really just comment on the room and service. Service was really good have nothing bad at all to say about the employees at the hotel. Room was good and clean.

Noise is unbearable....
Would never return to this hotel or recommend it. he hotel had a horrible smell in the reception area and then also very unpleasant 'air freshener' smells outside the rooms. worst of all was the 'generator' noise coming from ouside. It was deafening. There was a party/function which went on until around 3 am which again mad eit impossible to get any sleep. The rooms were very shabby and dirty. All in all the worst hotel experience I h ave ever had. Do not let the tranquil image of the pool persuade you that the Lansdowne is in any way relaxing or tranquil!!

Well located in Croydon, very central which is excellent. Price was pretty good, for some reason was cheaper to book on the day than 3 months ahead?? Bed is surprisingly comfortable.

A disgrace
The level of disappointment I feel having stayed at this hotel is indescribable. I’ve been in hostels with more comfortable meds, I’ve stayed in prisons that were quieter, I’ve been inside pubs with better clientele. That you call this place a hotel, is an affront to the industry. The bed has ensured I must seek medical attention on my back. Now we will go and get my money back. DON’T COME HERE! unless you’re a spotty teenager who wants to get high, or a little sket who wants to get gang banged, then this hotel is the one for you.

Comfortable, modern, easy hotel right in Croydon. Parking is off-site at the multi-storey, which is VERY safe (hotel stay gets you 25% discount, so £12 for overnight instead of £16).

At first, I was skeptical about the room because no air conditioning. The staff told me that I could open the window when I slept at night. I was unsure about the safety. Then the staff offered me a fan. I got an idea to put the fan to the chair and moved close to my bed. I had no problems not complaining at all. My room is clean and comfort. I stayed there for two weeks and it was fantastic. I wish I could have two keys: one for me and one for my best friend. I am Deaf and couldn't hear anyone knocking the door. Other than that, it was a pleasure staying there.

To start with i have booked the hotel for its facilities (i.e. swimming pool) as it was my intention to have my son swimming after his tennis tournament in Sutton. I was very disappointed to be told by the swimming pool staff that the facility can be used by children only on weekends and not any day. This is not on the hotel's web site and nor the hotel receptionists knew about this. I staid in room 304 and the bathroom was very old with the hand wash basin drain missing pieces of the drain strainer and with sharp rusted edges. The bath tub also had the enamel chipped in multiple places and exposing sharp edges. The room cleaning services didn't clean the room until I had to mention to the reception. On other hand who had the stupid idea of placing the headboard right under the window giving an uncomfortable sleep with cold air coming down right up your head. And if you sleep with your head at the other end you will have cold feet unless you put your socks on. But better said, in one word - AVOID ! It's a shame as the receptionists are friendly and trying to do their job, but the establishment doesn't help.

We chose this place as it had a pool and hot tub. When we arrived the pool ceiling was in need of repairs and the hit tub wasn't working. The room was standard. The bed comfortable. The staff very friendly.

This property is ok to stay at if you're looking for somewhere to leave your stuff, or if you want to be in a good location! other than that, very noisey from passing traffic, bed wasn't comfortable, no air conditioned in room! 32" tv that was ok, there was a family down the hallway from us, they were very loud throughout the night, no one came to quiet them, and of course the smallest Lift I've ever been in!
