Dear Carmel,thank you for taking the time to share your experience. You’re right, Junior Deluxe is a wonderful room, however I’m sorry to hear about the Superior Double room. Regarding the cleaning products residue, I can only say that the guests, who stayed in the same room before you, spent the whole week in there without wanting any cleaning so the cleaners wanted to give it a good clean. They always work with a window open though. And because you only changed rooms and moved in before the regular check in time there could still be some residue left, I’m sorry about that. I personally checked the wallpaper you’ve mentioned but couldn’t find any tear at all except a few minor scratches next to the light switch. The light fixture was fixed straight away as it was just a bit loose, thank you for pointing that out.But please, when I asked you in person how’s your stay, you could have told me the downsides of the room straight away and we could’ve possibly do something about it, we’re here to do our best for you to feel comfortable.We apologise for any inconvenience and hope you have a wonderful day!Kind regards KateThe guesthouse manager
