attention c est parti! * Systeme de chauffage en panne en plein mois de janvier -2 degres le soir. 4 petits radiateurs pour nous chauffer tout l appartement. donc sous dimensionné on a du faire un choix chauffer la salle bain ou le salon qui servait aussi de chambre. La panne ne date pas d hier vu la poussiere sur les petits chauffages d appoints quand on dit à l hote qu on a froid +aucune repons * Il faudrait penser à nettoyer l'interieur meubles de sdb.... poussiere cheveux * Graisser la porte de la sdb. elle fait un bruit à reveiller les morts; la nuit cela reveille toute la maison. * Pas de prise qui fonctionne dans les sdb donc obliger de se secher les cheveux dans le couloir... on est au top * Pas d eclairage non plus autour du miroir surement du aussi a un faux contact. la prochaine fois je viendrais avec ma caisse à outils mais cela fait beaucoup au prix ou l on paie. * Et l pompom: la veille on nous previent que personne ne sera la pour nous acceuillir il faut recupere les cles dans une superette à 10min à pied avec les valises = grosse galere. *Notre hote nous demande aussi de ne surtout rien demander au concierge de l immeuble = mais je vous rassure il ne vous dit meme pas bonjour ni meme vous explique comment ouvrir la porte alors qu il vous voit galerer.... cela n est ni sympa ni correcte. * Les portes de l'ascenseur sont restees bloque avec nous dedans.... bien qu on est sonné on attend encore qu on vienne nous aider... "aide toi et le ciel t aidera!!!!"

Spacious Apartment
My family of 4 stayed at this apartment over the holidays and enjoyed the extra space to spread out. The kitchen was a good size and well stocked which made it convenient for breakfasts. We loved the easy 15 minute walk to Borough Market where there were a lot of great food stalls and restaurants. Plus, convenient access to 2 tube stations and beautiful St. Paul's Cathedral. The host, John was responsive and as we arrived on an early flight, he kindly allowed us to drop off our bags in the apartment. As previously reviewed, some of the chairs were a bit worn but as we were on the go most of the time it wasn't a major issue.

Family trip to London
Overall fantastic. Location is perfect, steps from Mansion house tube station that takes you to all attractions and 20 min walk from most attractions as well. St Paul’s is a great safe neighborhood with many restaurants to choose from too. Flat is quiet and spacious, our family of 4, including a 16 and 18 year old were quite comfortable. Only criticism is that the flat is tired and a bit shabby….needs new carpets, walls need to be painted, and furniture updated. But all was CLEAN which was most important to us! Great place to stay in London!!!

Great location
After spending time in small hotels, it was nice to have some space to spread out. The Wi-Fi was slow but we didn’t spend much time at the apartment anyhow. It was a great location to get out and about and easy walking distance to things like Borough Market, Tower of London, Tate, and much more.

Excellent Loaction to enjoy touring London
4 adults stayed here for 5 nights. The transportation service suggested by the owner was great, picked up at Heathrow and delivered to the apartment. The hosts assistant met us at the apartment for a brief tour and tutorial. The apartment has most of the things you need for a comfortable stay and eating in if you wish to, but it is located close to many wonderful foodie places! Highly recommend walking across the bridge to Borough Market and trying a few different things. Overall a wonderful stay and fantastic location for getting to the tube or walking around the city. The washer/dryer combo can be a bit tricky to figure out and doesnt always dry things completely, but there is a drying rack so we made use of it.

Wonderful for a family stay!
We stayed during the hottest part of the heat wave, and it was a wonderful retreat in the city. Quiet, clean, well stocked, relatively cool and very central. The tube stop was an easy walk, grocery was nearby, and an easy walk to so many attractions! Plenty of space for our family of 5, including young children, who were delighted with the balcony to the indoor courtyard. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Wonderful London apartment
This place was awesome. There was a beautiful private courtyard. The appt was spacious. I especially appreciated the washer. Every morning I was able to do a small load of laundry and we left London for the rest of our European vacation with all clean clothes it was a lifesaver for packing light with teens. Our girls were comfortable spreading out in one of the bedrooms and on the living room fold out couch. My husband and I were comfortable in the master bedroom. The beds were very nice. I appreciated the dressers and closets to be able to unpack. Having two bathrooms was nice as well no one was waiting to shower. It really set the tone for our trip. Centrally located our Taxi driver from the airport pointed out how lucky we were to find this place. We also felt super lucky because we booked it so far in advance and heard that prices had jumped substantially, so thankful that they honored our booking. Would not hesitate to recommend. It was also very clean and the owner reached out to me on our way there to make sure we were getting there ok. I also really liked that there was a notebook with helpful tips for both the appt and also the surrounding area. There were plenty of towels. Although we didn’t cook it was nice to have the option and we liked having a clean fridge to put our drinks. Thanks again if we ever make it back to London I would love to stay here again.

Good location but tired property
In the pictures and description, it states “Luxury” apartment. Maybe my idea of luxury has a different description. Half of the curtain was off the wall and the other was almost falling down. Hence, no privacy on half the sliding door which looked out into other residents sliding doors. Holes in chair. Pillows were terrible. Carpet was stained in bedrooms and woodwork and walls in desperate need of repair and new paint. Overall, just sort of shabby. The location was good and it was quiet.

The curtain bar fell off with the previous guest's children. We were waiting for a new metal rail to arrive and it has already been fixed.

Lovely London retreat.
We enjoyed our stay n this property. It was clean comfortable and quiet. Dealing with John was excellent. Fast replies to my questions and we were able to drop off suitcases in the morning so we could tour until the apartment was ready. The location was great. It was a short walk to grocery stores, pubs, transportation and the river. One review said that you had to go up stairs to get across the road. That is not true. If you go one block to the right you are at Queen street where you can go over the Southwark bridge or go left to the stores and tube stations. Going to the left from the apartment gets you to the river front walk. We plan to stay here on our next London trip.

Wonderful stay - fantastic location
We stayed a week in November 2021 - family of 4, two adults, 13 year old and 7 year old. The apartment was very comfortable for our family. We really enjoy staying in rentals over hotels when we travel and this was no exception. Access to the underground and millennium bridge made getting around a breeze. The apartment’s amenities were perfect. John was a great host, we enjoyed our stay immensely. Thank you!

Perfect location for a London holiday!!! Unbeatable!
Our family of four thought this was going to be a “too good to be true” type of place. BUT John has truly given an accurate description and doesn’t even do it justice. The location is perfect and the apt is super safe and cozy and convenient to everything. John was so helpful and friendly and we had everything we needed for a wonderful week in London that we will never forget. We will highly recommend this place to all of our friends.. Grab it if you can! You will be lucky if you can book it.

Great stay in Central Lodon
We had a fantastic week at the apartment. The proximity to public transport, River Thames and St. Paul's is unbeatable. I had my 19 yo niece and 15 yo son joining me so two bedrooms plus the living room sofa couch worked out well. It was also a luxury to have two bathrooms available. The second bedroom could use a box spring since having only a mattress made it a bit hard (according to my niece) and was low to the ground. The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything we needed to make a meal. There is also a dishwasher and washer/dryer which is a huge plus. John and his team were responsive and accommodating. The WiFi was good throughout the apartment but it was so-so in the master bedroom which is the furthest spot from the modem. That didn't really matter since we spent most of our time running around London. The apartment felt incredibly safe and was quiet as well making sleeping a breeze. I would stay there again since it had absolutely everything that was important to us! Now if only the weather had cooperated too...

Perfect location and well kept flat
We were two adult couples, and three couples for a short time. The living room makes a nice third bedroom if you have six. John was excellent to deal with and makes your stay as easy as possible. We would definitely return. There truly isn't a better location in London. Many fine restaurants near by.

Central London in St Paul's
We had an excellent weeklong stay in London combining work and vacation for the family. Apartment is situated in a 'quiet' part of town (vs Kensington, Piccadilly, and other areas in West Minster where we usually stay). Good public transportation. Have to hunt a bit more for restaurants outside of 'work hours'. Safe and secure building that seems to be majority 'long stay' apartments rather than long term housing. Apartment functions well. However it was much more worn that we expected. We did not use the master bathroom because the ceiling was covered in black mold. Light bulb was hanging from the ceiling. Beds were not super comfortable and the second bedroom bed is not great - fine for our young kids but I think adults would not be thrilled. If the apartment were less expensive perhaps more could be forgiven, but for the price combined with the state of the apartment I would not stay again.

Thank you for your stay, The apartment is not expensive, London is. The ensuite bathroom fan got damaged and the ceiling got mold very quickly. I have now painted both bathrooms fresh. Everyone else seems to enjoy the apartment and find it very comfortable and convenient. I hope if you come back to London you consider our apartment again because it truly is a good value for money.

Perfect location and Jon was a very responsive host!
My husband and I went with 2 teenage boys and this place was perfect! We were close to everything, tube and bridges got us everywhere, so much was walking distance and it provided a great space for us all to have a rest and time away from each other. We had a wonderful time! Jon was very helpful and responsive every step of the way. We would definitely recommend this place to others.

The location and amenities of this flat is perfect for enjoying the city. We felt safe with the secret gate and interior apartment. The flat had all the amenities we needed to make the stay comfortable and easy. The management firm was easy to work with and provided step by step instructions on all things we needed to know about the apartment and things to do around town.

Great Flat for you London Holiday!
Just spent a week at this very nice 2 bedroom, 2 bath City of London apartment. It was the right size for my husband & I along our 2 adult sons 27 & 24; would be awfully tight for 6 as stated but a good fit for the 4 of us. We were welcomed upon arrival with a quick tour of the apartment. We were able to drop our luggage off early which was very much appreciated! A good start up supply of toiletries are provided. The location of High Timber street is a little tricky to find we had a couple Uber drivers cancel on us during our stay and we got lost the 1st time walking back to the flat but once you get it down its fine. Great location for taking the Underground Tube or walking to all the close attractions; St Paul's, Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Shakespeare Globe Theater, The Shard, etc...all in walking distance! John provides helpful guides for both the apt as well as London which was a very nice touch. The apartment furnishings are worn but comfortable. There is a washing machine available but no dryer. We didn't cook in the apt but there did appear to be plenty of pots & pans. We were unable to figure out the coffee pot so it was instant coffee for the week. Would be nice if a start up supply of coffee pods were provided since the Nespresso ones I purchased didn't fit and local grocery locations had very limited options. Only ask would be a usable coffee machine, a TV in the bedroom, & a couple of wine glasses. These things while nice are really not that big of a deal....You really can't beat the location of this very nice, quiet apartment! We really enjoyed our stay in London and it was nice to come home after a long day of touring to our great London Flat! Cheers!

Communication was excellent and overall the property was enjoyable. The only complaint was the cleanliness of the place. The floors were not cleaned and the bed linens looked dirty. I did not complain though because we arrived at 11:25pm after traveling from the states and all of us were just ready to go to bed. Location was very convenient and we felt safe with our surroundings.

Location location location! Space to enjoy
This was an awesome place to stay. We were able to walk to so many attractions which is faster than the taxis in traffic! There was plenty of space for my husband, 3 adult children and myself. The team there met us at the door and showed us around the apartment. They had so many amenities there waiting for us. It was a great vacation and HomeAway helped find us a superb place!

Had a great time in the apartment. Quiet, and everything worked as they described. Walk to St Pauls, Millennium Bridge, the Tube and therefore everywhere. I never figured out the TV in the bedroom or the Nespresso machine, but who cares. Very comfortable. The place was great.

Great location very comfortable overall outstanding place.
This is great place to stay. Facilties are good and there is plenty of room for a family of 4. I was very disappointed however to be charged 25 pounds because our flight was late and taxi didn't turn up so we arrived after 7pm, i informed them they said no worries but then charged me a late fee. They should organize getting key another way rather than paying someone to stay. Apart from the ridiculous extra charge i would certainly recommend this apartment.

Die Wohnung ist perfekt gelegen. Das Wohnzimmer und der Balkon gehen zum Atrium, in dem kleine Brunnen plätschern und eine unglaubliche Ruhe ausströmen, was nach einem Tag in der Stadt sehr erholsam ist. Well-situated Property
The best thing about The apartment was the location. We used the Underground every day as two stations were in easy walking distance. We felt safe, and It was clean. One person from John's staff was on hand to meet us and explain things. (We did not like to have to pay extra for being 30 minutes past 19:00 as we had no control over when our train would arrive. Subsequently, we paid for a full day, plus extra, for the property we only took possession of at 19:30). There was a handy "instruction book" with which we tried to abide. We knew it would not be air conditioned, but a few fans to use would have been nice. (It was especially warm in the back bedroom as one of the windows was "stuck".) John was available by e-mail and/or phone to resolve issues and to answer questions. We would surely stay there again should we make a return trip,.

Great Apartment in London!
Everything was perfect starting with communication with John. He responded promptly to all my questions. The agent was waiting at the apartment when we arrived. Apartment is in a great location very close to Tower Bridge and St. Paul's Cathedral. Tube station is only a few blocks away and we took it to all London locations without difficulty. Bedrooms and living room sofa were perfect for 5 Adults. We never ate in but the kitchen had everything you would need. Lots of restaurants/pubs/shopping close by. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to others!!

Good value, great location, ,easy going host, few maintenance lapses
Overall impression is positive. The place has a great location in central London near the financial district. Easy walk to River Themes and lots of other action. Underground station is a short walk and from there you can get anywhere you want in London. The flat is in an old building that has been renovated - about 20 years ago- and has all the amenities. It is very modern and has a good feel. It has great Wi-Fi and TV. It would be very comfortable for two couples, or a family of 4, but unless you are very cozy, I wouldn't recommend more. It is advertised for up to 6 people. On the negative side, not certain if all sheets and covers were washed - one of the people in our party made a comment about the fact that the sheet seemed to have been slept in. There were also minor maintenance gaps which wouldn't be a big deal for most - the base of the bath tub had openings as if someone didn't finish the job of installing it. The radiators in the bedroom didn't work, but we managed with covers and leaving doors open. Overall, it was a great value.

A wonderful stay!
We stayed at Globe View with our two young boys (4 and 1) for 6 days for a vacation and had a wonderful time! The flat was located well, within walking distance of Blackfriars Station for when we came from the airport, and close to Mansion House underground for when we needed to get around London. We were able to walk across Millenium Bridge and see some of the Christmas market, which was fun too! The flat has comfortable seating and beds, is cozy, quiet, and perfect for a family, business trip (it's close to London City) or a group. We were especially grateful for several travel plug converters as we had forgot to pack ours! We had a pleasant stay and had no issues.

We had a good experience with this flat. Modern, spacious, clean and quiet, this flat is well equipped. Comfortable beds and furniture. Everything worked. A few rough edges in the hall bathroom. Better for walkers or Tubers, as taxi arrival and departure is awkward. Few service in immediate area, but 2 - 3 blocks away is everything convenience - Pret a Manager. Marks and Spencer and Underground only 4 blocks away. Morning Concierge at front of apartment, polite and only marginally helpful. Paid for early check-in, which worked reasonably well, albeit late. Washer / Drier worked well.
