Veel kleiner dan op de foto's. Lift werkte niet. Keuken servies zeer beperkt (4pers apartm. met z'n 3 amper genoeg). De betreffende buurt is erg vies en een taxi chauffeur waarschuwde ons zeer oplettend te zijn, zeker in het donker. Geen fijn gevoel als je 's avonds uit de stad terug komt. Appartement zelf was wel netjes en best wel OK. Ga er niet terug.

Prachtige penthouse. Voor de rest weinig goeds. Kapotte lift, kapot rolgordijn, schitterende keuken met heel weinig inventaris, zrs dagen douchen met 1 handdoek. Er waren 2 king size bedden volgens omschrijving. Eén bed was maar 1.20 mtr breed. Niets om maar een bakje koffie te zetten. Kortom een prachtig penthouse met zeer slechte voorzieningen.

Please, i cannot stress this enough. Never book with these people/company. Atrocious experience. I am even surprised they are allowed to advertise on expedia. I am going to try to get expedia to take them off but goes to show the climate of the world we're in today.

I was nervous staying here after reading some of the reviews but I was happy to report no issues with staying, good communication, easy access to the property and a comfortable night. Property has great transport links, close to a bus stop and walking distance to Shadwell DLR & Overground. Would happily stay again

Great but no aircon so way too hot in summer
Clean and convenient but so hot in summer with no aircon. Room is Safe and quiet and kitchen and washer excellent. Just too hot in 31 deg heat. I asked for another fan but ot never arrived.

Le logement était propre mais plusieurs choses n'allaient pas : congélateur hors service, 1 rouleau de papier toilette, très bruyant. le logement donne sur la rue, pas de double vitrage. j'ai envoyé un mail dès le 1er jour pour informer de c es dysfonctionnements, je n'ai jamais eu de réponse. pas un appel ! rapport qualité/prix excessif !

When we booked, we knew it wasn't central, but there was very little near the property, less than we were expecting for East London, it's OK if you're prepared to walk 15-20 minutes to get tube/get to a busier area. The property is remotely managed without a reception which we didn't find out about until the day, it was not very clearly marked, this meant we had to pay to store it elsewhere. I think had we known this we wouldn't have booked. The property was clean and looked nice on a surface level, but looking more closely, there was rotting/damaged woodwork in some places and actually a lot of areas that needed some TLC. In the hallway there was a load of cables hanging from the wall which really should be boxed off. The kitchen was the least equipped I have ever seen. There was very little to use so you would be limited for cooking meals from scratch. The utensil draw consisted of a ladle and a spoon rest! Aside from that, as everything was managed by automated email, the process was straight forward, but the emails were quite aggressive and demanding, but also made little sense. Asking to create a secure account somewhere to upload you ID and then asking to send the link and the password still has me baffled! I wanted to be honest because previous reviews did not give details as to why it was bad, so this is all for context. It honestly depends on what you are looking for and expect. All in all it was an OK stay, but we wouldn't book it again.

Not to be TRUSTED, FALSE ADVERTISING
This was a frustrating and upsetting experience! Myself and my friend had a last minute important businesses meeting in London and we booked what looked like luxury apartments. Not knowing London at all but having to choose what was left to book last minute, this looked good. We specifically looked for somewhere that had parking as we'd been told we'd struggle but there was train strikes on so we had no other alternative. When we arrived, there was a tiny side steet down a very dodgy estate with blockade at the bottom and double yellow lines. We contacted the advertised number to ask where we should park only to be told there was a sainsburys near by! We explained we needed parking as advertised and they said they didnt offer this. Then asked us to send photo ID of the two of us to a private email address, we did (even though when i have made bookings like this before ive never had to do this). Then we waited and contacted them numerous times explaining we had a meeting we were expected at and we wanted to just gain access so we could freshen up and get changed quickly. As it had taken over 3 hours to get to London. They said they hadn't received our details and they wouldn't give us the information we needed. This kept going on for hour. We contacted hotels.com for a refund which they are refusing, as the owner said we weren't sending tt get in, we missed our meeting and then had to drive 3 hours home. With them gaining over £100 from us and we came away with nothing!

Amazing apartment
Very nice apartment, very spacious , has all the utensils for cooking. The communication with them was very good, they always answers all my questions and explain to me how to do the check in and check out . Very happy with this place.

They are unserious and unhelpful and i would not recommend anyone to use. Those who manage the property are rude and cause distress while staying in the property. I had issues with the property and had to call them repetitively with no response or help. Again i suggest you do not book this property if you want a peaceful stay.

There was a few things to before actually going in to the apartment which was unnecessary and I would have done before if my confirmation email stated it which it did not. Further more I went on to do it and I wanted some guidance and Shaun at the call centre is very rude which made me not want to stay there at all and I lost out on all my money

Arrived at the apartment, my partner and I weren’t able to check in because Expedia and the Stay Inn Apartments Company did not send any information that they needed prior to check in, therefore we were standing outside in the cold and rain for an hour trying to sort this out. Once sorted we entered the apartment, it looked so modern and lovely, but then realised we had no toilet paper, no oven glove, no sponge to wash dishes, there were crumbs left in the side of the counter door, stained tea bags, dust under the bed that looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in months, socks, crumbs and a face mask under the sofa cushions, and hairs left in the bath. With these issues in mind it restricted us as a couple to use the facilities to the degree that we would have liked. This apartment was obviously not cleaned before we arrived! When I called regarding the toilet paper the company didn't get back to me at all. I had rung them once to inform them and the second time I called the line said ‘the office was closed’ so therefore we weren’t able to use the toilet that night. The next day I rung the company informing them again, after not having a call back from them which they stated they would. I then had to call them several times for an update. They advised me that they had spoken to the cleaner and that she'd be bringing it to me soon, after hours of waiting and calling for further updates we finally got the toilet paper. The customer service is extremely poor; you’d think that such

This whole stay inn apartment city Aldgate is scam, Please please don't not even think or staying here. I booked to stay here can I was meant to receive notification, which I didn't and did not receive any phone call. upon arrival I try calling them but the number is incorrect, after trying a few combination I got someone one the phone and she was very rude, useless and even had the audacity to hang-up the phone on me. At the end I have to find another place to stay in the mid of the night.

Where do I start!? If you are looking for a lovely apartment with approachable staff who are interested in making your stay here comfortable then please DO NOT stay here. I had issues with ages restrictions before we even arrived even though the only one person was under 25. The manager refused a refund and even kept the booking active until the end date to ensure he received his money. No apology no alternative. Paid for an apartment which was not used. Had I not called to query the address I wouldn’t have been told there were any issues. Managers like this do not deserve loyal customers as they have treated extremely unfairly.

La peor experiencia
Fue la peor experiencia de mi vida, jamás repetiría una estancia en ese hotel, pagamos 259,36€ para una estancia de 2 noches y al momento de la reserva no estaba como enunciado importante la edad “menos de 25 años no pueden ingresar”, yo y mi novio tenemos 24 años, lo único que estaba en el enunciado subrayado como importante fue el “no reembolsable”, tuvimos que llamar a la App y ellos se comunicaron con el hotel y nos dijeron que por esta vez harían una excepción y según la App dice que recepción estará de 14 a 00:00 hora local y nosotros llegamos 22:50 no había nadie, llamamos y la gente muy amable nos vio pasar frío nos ayudaron con lo del hotel y el hotel no contestó la llamada, tuve que mandar un E-mail y no había respuesta, al final nos llamo sobre las 23:37 y nos dijo que si seguimos en la puerta que llamará a la policía, también dijeron que al día siguiente volviéramos para el check-inn, al final buscamos otro hotel, al día siguiente llamamos nos dijeron que se someterán a sus reglas por la edad que no podíamos ingresar y se quedaron con los 259,36€.

nice place- poor experience.
I stayed in the penthouse apartment on the top (5th) floor. A nicely done 2-bed apartment, clean, modern with good views of the surrounding. But the whole experience of booking, check-in, and minor things with the stay left a disappointing feel in me, sadly. The full check-in detail is not available to you on the hotels.com webpage when booking. Some of it comes soon after in a separate mail. Its, cumbersome, long, and confusing to say the least. There is no onsite reception, so one would expect the self-checking to be made as easy as possible. It’s not. The lady on the phone line is not reachable easily. And tells things to do that are not mentioned in the mail. Very confusing. Especially to someone new to the city. To add to this, she needs to be more polite. The final check-in codes are sent right at the last moment when you reach the property. Strange. If you have no access to phone, emails there, you are stuck. The apartment is on the 5th floor, but the lift was out of service. I had to walk all the way up with luggage. I spoke about this to the person on the phone; his response was ‘well, we didn’t advertise the lift!!’ Can you believe it?!! There were other issues like a very complicated, if ever functional, hot water control in the bath, a roller blind on the large bedroom window that could not be rolled up, no information on-site on things like switching on / controlling room temperature, etc. I will avoid this place next time. Didn’t get what I had paid for.

Lovely apartment and great communication! Only negative is that the bathroom light was extremely dim but not a big deal. Was also on the ground floor so wasn’t able to open the blinds for light to come in without the public looking in.
