Pick up keys other side of the city. Irritating.
The apartment was nothing like the pictures, and the location was 15mins from where it appeared on the Hotels.com map. It was a 25min each-way journey from picking up keys to going to apartment. Starting to get pretty tired of these aparthotels on this site. People living in surrounding apartments were clearly displeased to see me arrive. "Thought they were stopping this" said someone as I went through the courtyard. The apartment itself was spacious but a bit run down. Stained carpet, broken facilities in shower, lightbulbs out, multiple electric radiators instead of central heating. All in all I would not recommend. It's not worth the hassle unless under specific circumstances such as a group booking of 4-5 or more.

Beware, you don't get the apartment you chose
Booked the Storm Nike Apartment advertised as on Union Street because I wanted to be near the London Bridge Station for travel purpose. However I was given another apartment 10 mins walk away on Tower Bridge Road with no nearby Underground station. Ended up walking 40 mins every day (4x10 mins in and out twice at day) in the cold. Complained about it but they said it is stated in the fine prints that the apartment can be in the same district - I challenged them to find it, but they can't! Moreover, key collection is somewhere else in London several Underground stops away - very inconvenient when I have no car and have family with luggage. Yes, this is also in the fine prints. All apartments with "xxx Nike Apartment" are the same arrangement, so buyer beware. The apartment itself is ok, but there are minor annoyances such as washing machine but no dryer, it is on a main road and so woke up every time an emergency vehicle comes by in the night, the lift broke down when the apartment is on the 4th floor, etc. Overall pretty annoyed.

Directions to the apartment were good but until we picked up the keys we didn’t know where the apartment was and it was about 20 minutes walk from the key pick up. Apartment clean and well appointed - quite basic. No hot water the first morning - need to ‘boost’ the hot water in the cupboard when you get there - no instruction to do that. Comfortable bed and living area.

You have stayed with us from 25/01-29/01/2019 at our Borough Empire 108 apartment and unfortunately we could not find the second key. Could you please let us know where you have left it. Please note in case we do not hear from you , you might be charged £75 for missing key. Looking forward hearing from you. Vi likte leiligheten vi fikk, i tower Bridge road, veldig godt. Den hadde gode senger, og var innredet slik vi forventet ut i fra bildene. Her fantes oppvaskmaskin, vaskemaskin, strykehjern, hårføner etc. Kort tur til nærmeste undergrunn/tog. Rolig strøk med lite trafikk. Kort vei til butikk, pub og restaurant om en ikke vil bevege seg så langt. Skal du være noen dager og skal lage mat på leiligheten fantes detet veldig bra marked 10-15 min. unna, som solgte alt du trenger av ferskvarer

Far away from Town. We took bus into town to find something to eat. It was apartment, not a hotel. But for us, It was OK. We still alive. One thing was not fair, we don't know where we will stay until we reach the office in UK at '6 Union street'. That is the place of office, it is not hotel. We are stupid to believe that is the hotel for a stay. We misunderstand that the hotel should be here at '6 Union street' and near the attractive place. After visiting their office, they locate us to the apartment far from our target. Next time we will be careful to book the hotel. We took many big laggauges with us. That is hard.

The check in is done at London Bridge from the you walk to the Tower Bridge are were is located the apartment. (20 to 30 min with your luggage) the apartment is clean all decorated by Ikea. Is an apartment that means is not cleaning service.

There were no paper towels - one dish towel only. Had to use toilet paper to wipe up spills. No place in the bathroom to set clothes on. Was told there was an elevator, it was on the 4th floor - -walk up. Ad said a 5 minute walk from office, turned out to be more like 15 minutes.. II arrived at Gatwick, trained into the London Bridge station, had to walk to the office, then had to walk again to the location. At least it was daylight. If it was dark, i would have been apprehensive. You should provide service to take you and your luggage to the location.

So much more than expected. The apartment was really good. Address of the check in office could have been clearer but other than that it was a great experience and I would definitely use again.

A good 10 minutes walk to the Borough Station
The small bed close to the main door the bed was broken. The nails underneath the bed were coming off. The worst part was the water on the shower. It was either we had blistering hot shower or ice cold shower. Our expectation were not met having this apartment being rated as 4 star.

Grand appartement avec 2 salles de bain, à 5 minutes du métro Borough. Un peu de bruit venant de la route mais rien de grave. Appartement bien chauffé avec tout le confort. J'y retournerai !

Reasonable apartment, great service
Check-in was very efficient. When we arrived at the apartment there was no bedding for the sofa bed and there was a light not working, so we rang the contact number. The response was very quick, helpful and polite, with someone arriving with bedding and someone else coming to fix the bulb and another couple of things we pointed out within 20 minutes. The apartment was reasonably comfortable although there is not much in the immediate area. The rules and regulations are quite stringent and there is a horrible smell of rubbish as you come through the entrance lobby. The sofa bed is very uncomfortable!

Excellent condition and very spacious apartment. However this particular room overlooked very noisy train lines which took getting used to - first night's sleep especially. Otherwise staff were very helpful with instructions and the location was great.

Pleasantly surprised
Having read the other reviews about Storm Apartments I was a little concerned, however went ahead and booked anyway because of the price. And I was very impressed - no this is not a hotel, this is an apartment, but it was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and in a great location a few stops on thw Tube away from the City financial district and West End entertainment district. I saved a ton of money by not having to eat out all the time and enjoyed the privacy of my own flat. The booking office stayed open past midnight for me to collect me keys and they offered to store my luggage for a while following my checkout. The only negatives were the telephone number for Storm on the hotels.com booking confirmation was wrong, and the sofa was a bit tatty, the only piece of furniture that did not look as-new.

Very disappointed
We were very disappointed. The apartment was no where near the location advertised. There were bugs. I woke up with multiple bites. It was advertised as a hotel. Definitely was not. After ariving we had to go purchase shampoo and other products that a "hotel" would have supplied. We will not be staying in any Storm Apartments again. I would not recommend.

didn't like the fact we had to check in at the office and then travel to the apartment. taxi driver was frustrated. location was great, apartment was extremely hot no air conditioning, the sofa bed was falling apart and not comfortable to either sit on or sleep in, wifi was intermittent, soured wet clothes from a previous tenant still in washer. the carpet was extremely dirty and stained in the hall. the office was very fast and effective though when I called to complain about the wifi not working. kitchen was nice and bathrooms were good. bedrooms were good but very hot even with windows open.

EXCELENTE APARTAMENTO
Excelentes apartamentos, sin embargo, confunde un poco ya que la ubicación de Expedia menciona estar muy cerca del London Eye, a nosotros eso nos ocasiono un poco de problemas, aunque sabíamos que la pagina también dice varias ubicaciones. Recomiendo mejor cambiar la ubicación que muestra Expedia en el mapa donde se encuentran las oficinas del check in. Excelente trato de la oficina de recepción. En general, los recomiendo ampliamente.

Posizione centrale ma piuttosto lontana dal check-in di Union Street (15-20 min. a piedi). Appartamenti confortevoli ma poco arredati e pulizia scadente (abbiamo visto un topino vivo nell'appartamento e poi lo abbiamo trovato morto nel corridoio esterno che collega i vari appartamenti). Comodità per fare la spesa: piccolo supermarket vicinissimo all'appartamento. Siamo tutti concordi nell'affermare che la cifra per cinque giorni si è rivelata piuttosto alta per l'offerta fornita. Molta gentilezza da parte degli impiegati del check-in, che ci hanno spiegato che Expedia non capisce, o non vuole capire, che le condizioni offerte da City Apartments S.R.O. Praha C, prevedono pagamento anticipato NON REFUNDABLE.

Mein Mann und ich haben ein verlängertes WE in London gebucht. Das Appartment war für Londoner Verhältnisse einsame Spitze. Sehr sauber, die Einrichtung war fast neu, eine komplett eingerichtete Küche, sogar Spülmittel und Abtrockentuch vorhanden.(Das ist kein Standard bei Appartments). Die Lage ist einfach super. 2 U-Bahnstationen in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Neben dem Appartment befindet sich direkt ein Supermarkt. Und die Freundlichkeit beim Check in war auch nicht zu überbieten. Alles in Allem einfach toll!!!

OK accommodations but misleading location shown
I wanted to make potential renters aware of an important fact. The location of the accommodations is not in Union Street, near London Bridge station, as indicated. The Union Street address is the (very small) office of the apartment rental company. The apartments themselves are distributed around the local area. From what I could tell, they are all within a 20 minute walking distance. When you arrive at the Union Street location, you will be told which apartment has been set aside for you and provided detailed directions on how to get there, along with other pertinent information. This may, or may not be an issue, but anyone considering making a reservation should be aware of this before booking. For me it was a daily inconvenience as one of the reasons I chose this accommodation was because of it's (supposed) close proximity to London Bridge station. However, my apartment was a good 12-15 minute walk in the opposite direction. Fortunately, the weather was good and I did not have to walk the extra distance in excessive cold or in the rain. The apartment was located close to Guys hospital and the local police station which meant that ambulance and police sirens were frequently heard day and night. There was also a bus stop located outside and the automated voice giving out stop information could be heard each time a bus stopped. The neighbourhood has a large number of pubs and is busy during the week, but less so at weekends.

Sorry to say this apartment was below the standard we had expected. The furniture was basic Ikea, bathroom fittings poor standard (recycled taps) a drible on the shower which took an age to get warm. The settee sank in the middle and the bed was so low to the floor with a very unsupportive matress. The apartment was nearer Elephant & Castle than London Bridge (which I was led to believe). My wife & I have visited many hotels and apartments over the years and this one did not live upto the four stars more like 2/3 at best. The final problem wi-fi was poor and the railway bridge adjacent did not help with trying to sleep.
