The Neighborhood:
The continuously developing area of Hackney Wick is full of Boujee cafes, Eclectic restaurants and even Ingenious breweries along the River Lee Canal. What used to be an industrial and marshland area, is now heaving with new creative hot spots since the 2012 London Olympics. Now named the London Stadium, after West Ham football club took over the venue, the area has seen a growth of fun and entertaining things to do pop up all over. Vogue voted Hackney Wick as one of the 15 coolest neighbourhoods in the world. No doubt thanks partly to the appeal of London Fields and Broadway Market being a short distance away. As for practicality, Hackney recently won the vote for London's most liveable borough. This is due to the smart redesign of its streets and town centres. Amazing new builds and lovely redeveloped industrial buildings give you a vibe like no other.
When thinking of where you should go in the area for food or drinks, CRATE, Howling Hops Brewery, Tank Bar, BargeEast and Number 90 Bar are just a few examples of the must-visit spots.
If you’re interested in sports, you can catch a West Ham game during the week or weekend depending on how far in advance you book. Or if you’re a shopper, you have Stratford Westfields around the corner so that you can shop to your heart's desire.

Hackney Wick Overground station is very conveniently located and connects you to the extensive London Overground network. You can also walk to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park within 10 minutes and enjoy the beautiful scenic views of the area's Olympic complexes.
